Chapter Text
September 1,
Today I was walking to the subway, and a fight broke out right behind me??? It was two middle aged men, too! The Unova fighting center was just around the corner. I mean yeah, it’s only been there for a month or so, but I’m almost certain that I’ve seen at least 3 ads for it every day since it opened.
I nearly got soaked by one of the guys Blastoise, but I was able to jump being my Leavanny. She got soaked, but she enjoyed, I think it gave her a bit more energy. We walked down the subway stairs, squeezing our way through the crowds. Once I found an empty bench I had to put Leavanny away. There’s a stupid rule where you can’t have a pokemon taller/wider than 2 feet on the subway. I guess the rule makes sense, but it still annoys me. I did see a lady with a very adorable Amaura, which cheered me up. It was running around her in circles, nearly tripping her. I couldn’t help but chuckle a little.
I jumped on the subway , and checked my bag to make sure I had all my stuff for my first day of school. Have I ever written about how complicated my ride to school is? My dad put me in a private school, but we couldn’t move any closer because of my Moms job. I have to ride the subway to nearly the end of the city, walk 5 blocks to get to the school bus stop, and then get on the bus to school. Huh, now that I write that down, it isn’t very complicated. It does take like, 45 minutes to get to school though :(. I got to skip first period (English, Mrs Escue 🤢).
I wrote this down in my diary before this, but Wooloo got approved as an emotional support pokemon!!! It was insane how many approval signature’s he needed. An approval from my doctor, a psychiatric doctor, and one from the local government.
I got to skip first period because I had to drop the papers off at secretary, and spend 15 minutes explaining to the geriatric nurse why I needed an emotional support Pokémon. I could’ve spent the last 30 minutes in class but this was an excuse to be nowhere near Mrs Escue. I had her last year, and she sucked.
The rest of the day was pretty normal. I did win almost every battle in gym class today! I lost my first battle, but that was just a warm up. Mr Patelo said I had improved a lot from last year.
I didn’t have any homework today, which is not what I expected for being a new 11th grader. All the 11th graders last year said, “You’ll have so much work!” “You’ll never have free time” “I got 10 hours of homework on the first day!”. Bullcrap. After school was fine. Nothing out of the ordinary.
I do have training with Wooloo tomorrow! Im very excited to tell his trainer that he got approved as a service animal. My brother said his first day was fine, and my sister is only in 3rd grade, so she probably had a great time. Jeez, this entry was long. I think I’m going to stop writing for today. Good night :)
