“You okay?” Jeremie wrapped his arm around Aelita. She was staring up at the clear night sky.
She leaned into his touch, resting her head on his shoulder. “I am, just nervous for tomorrow.”
“Why? We already did two walk throughs. Everything’s going to be fine.” He smiled. “Odd even promised there wouldn’t be any pranks to worry about.”
“I know, but once we officially graduate, real life begins.”
“Aren’t you excited?”
“Yes, and scared.”
“I’ve got you.” He turned their bodies so that he could rest his forehead on hers and lace their fingers together. “I’ve always got you.”
