It’s been 2 years since I’ve been in high school. It’s my senior year and it’s no different than my freshman year. Every girl always fawns over me, even men too. They’re all just after my money because my parents are famous soccer players. I never took any interest in them, until one day..
“Hey Sae I heard that there’s a new transfer student coming to our homeroom today.” Sendou, one of my friends say while we walk to our class.
“Oh really. How’d you hear.” I know who he heard from I just wanted to hear him say it.
“You know uh word of mouth, yeah.”
“Are you sure… whenever we’re in class you don’t even pay attention you’re always looking at Aiku. I see the way you look at him.”
“OH SHUT UP!” He then dashes away.
I hope that the new student isn’t annoying. I sit down in my seat, put my headphones on and put my head down waiting for class to start.

All of a sudden I feel someone yank off my headphones and laughter erupt through the classroom.
“Bro what the fu-“ it was my teacher.
“I’m confiscating this until the end of the day! Pay attention.
“Fine whate-“ I look up and lay my eyes on the most beautiful guy I’ve ever seen.
His hair was down a little passed his shoulders with blonde hair and pink tips. His eyeliner was very dramatic but cute. He also had a little mole on his cheek and multiple piercings.
“Hey everyone my names Ryusei Shidou, you can just call me Shidou. He then does a peace sign. Everyone laughs but I had to keep my mysterious image so I hold it in.
“You can sit right there in th back next to Sae.”
WAIT HE’S SITTING NEXT TO ME?
“SAE!” I immediately sit up straight.
“Sit next to the boy who was startled when I called his name.”
“Okay!” The boy, Shidou starts walking towards me with a big smile on his face.
“Hey Sae!” Shidou says plopping his bag onto the table.
His bag had many things on it. Keychains and pins from anime’s like demon slayer, jujustu kaisen, haikyuu, my hero academia. And a chiikawa and miku plush keychain. He also has a photo card of JEONGIN?! HE LIKE STRAY KIDS TOO!?
“Oh uhm h-hey.” I say awkwardly waving my hand.
“Are you okay? You’ve been spacing out a lot.”
“That’s fair. Anyways what were you listening to?”
“Oh uh don’t judge me for it but I was listening to Lovestory from P1Harmony.”
“P1HARMONY!! OH M GEE I LOVE THEM!
“SHIDOU! Keep it down.”
“S-Sorry sir.”
“Talk to you after AP Calc?”
“Yeah that’s fine.”
He wanted to continue talking to me? This is like a dream come true.
“Alright guys as you know you’re seniors and the most exciting thing is your senior trip. Which is in exactly 1 week. So tomorrow you’ll be picking your teams and places you would like to go while we’re in Kyoto.”

Finally the last bell of the day rang. I packed my stuff, walked out the doors ready to go walk home with Sendou and Aiku.
“Hey what’s up.” I greet Aiku and Sendou while Sendou is on Aiku’s back for some reason I don’t know of.
“Ready to go?” Aiku says completely ignoring the pink haired guy in his back.
“Yeah and are you gonna tell me why Sendou is on your back?”
“So he hurt his leg while they were playing soccer so he asked me to carry him until it feels better.” Aiku says oblivious to the actual reason why.
“Yeah..sure.”
“HEY I SAW THAT FACE YOU JUST MADE!” Sendou screeches out from Aiku’s back.
“Hey just relax it’s fine, let’s go.”
“Oh yeah by the way Sae we’re going to mall because the school trip is coming up and us both have no good clothes to wear wanna come with?” Aiku says completely ignoring yelling Sendou on his back.
“Yeah that’s fine I’ll come.”

“Okay let’s split up we each find whatever we need and meet back here in 2 hours.”
“Okay that’s fine.”
“Aiku can I follow?” Sendou looks up at Aiku all puppy eyed.
“Yeah that’s fine, Sae are you good by yourself?”
“Yup bye see you later.”
Let’s see what store should I go to now.. well I do need some need pants so let’s go into one of those clothing stores.
These black ones are nice they have rhinestones on the sides. I should most likely get a belt too.
There’s a chain one, a plain black one, and a pink one.. I think I’ll get them all actually I feel like they’ll layer nicely. And the pink kinda reminds me of Shi-
NO WHAT AM I DOING! It remind me is my own pink haired guy right…
“Will this be all for today?” The lady at the counter says. But behind her I see some eyeliner and eyeshadow.
“Could I get the black eyeliner and eyeshadow pallet please?”
“Yes no problem let me get them for you.”
“Okay your total is now $78.67 cash or card?”
“Card here you go.”
“WAIT YOUR THE OLDEST ITOSHI SIBLING WIAH I LOVE YOUR PARENTS!” The lady behind the counter says jumping around with my card.
“Keep it down I don’t wanna attract any attention please.”
“Sorry sir. Here’s your stuff have a great day please come again.”
I’ve already wasted 45 minutes so now I’ll just look for t shirts. W-Wait is that S-SHIDOU?! Crap I have to run.
“Hey SAE!!” Shidou calls out running towards me.
“What are you doing here?”
“Oh I was shopping for some clothes with my friends for the school trip were split up right now but I have to meet them in an hour and 10 minutes.”
“Do you wanna shop together then? Ironically I came here for the same thing.”
HE WANTS TO SHOP WITH ME RAHHH
“Yeah that’s fine right now I just bought pants, belts, eyeliner, and eyeshadow.” I bring my bag up to show him.
“Oh I didn’t know you were into things like that too. That’s awesome!”
“I-I’m not I saw you wear it and it look pretty cute on you so I wanted to try. Could you help me out?”
“YEAH I BEEN WANTING TO TRY ON SOMEONE FOR SO LONG MY SISTERS WOULD NEVER LET ME!”
lol he looks a kid who’s mom said yes to mcdonalds after school
“Okay so which store should we go to next.” I say looking around.
“Uh let’s go over there you haven’t got shirts yet right?”
“Yeah, let’s go.”

“I think this will look really cute on you.” Shidou says bringing the shirt up to my chest.
“What does it have on it?”
“It has a rilakkuma on it do you know what that is?”
“Yeah I have a keychain of it right here on my bag.” I turned to the side so he could see.
“Perfect! So you take this one and I’ll take the other so we can match!! If that’s alright with you?”
“Yeah that’s totally fine.”
“Yess thank you.”
I CAN’T BELIEVE IT he wants to match with ME? NO WAY.
I walk over to the accessories section and see a lot of stuff that would look like Shidou would wear.
“Hey Shidou can you come here?”
“Yeah one sec.”
“Okay I’m here what’s up.”
“Do you like these hair clips?”
They were pink and had black and white polka dots with a rilakkuma in the corner.
“OH YES! IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THESE EVERYWHERE!! THANK YOU SAE.” He says before engulfing me in a hug.
“I-It’s no problem.”
“I’m gonna go pay for the stuff I bought should I pay for yours too?”
“Yes thank you.”
Hmm maybe I should get one just like it to match me with him. But we already matched with the shirts though. Will he care? Agh this is so comfusinggg.

I have a little bit of time before I have to meet with my friends. Do you wanna go find something to eat?”
“Yes I haven’t eaten all dayyy.”
“Let’s go there they have boba.”
“Okay!”
“Uh could I have one milk tea and one taro milk tea.”
“Okay will that be cash or card?”
In order to avoid the events that happened earlier I think it would be better If I used cas-
“I’ll pay.” Shidou takes out his card and hands it to the cashier.
“No it’s okay I could’ve payed for it, plus you played for our stuff in the last store.”
“It’s fine Sae, let’s go sit and wait can’t have us causing a disruption.” He then grabs my wrist and pulls me towards the chairs on the side.
“We’re number 23 so when you hear that we can go collect our drinks.”
“Alright.”
“So who are you here with?”
“I was originally just gonna walk home with Aiku the one with purple and green hair in our class and Sendou but they were saying that we should go shopping for clothes and stuff for our school trip so here’s how I ended up at the mall.”
“There were so wrong about you.” Shidou says then laughs.
“Huh? What do you mean?”
“Logs of people were saying that you were a hard person to talk to but ever since I met you today you’ve been so talkative it’s nice.”
“23!”
“Oh that’s us I’ll go get them.”
Was I really all that talkative today? Oh my goodness my mysterious image is destroyed.
Suddenly I feel a cold substance on my cheek.
I jolt up out the chair.
“Hey.”
“Oh it’s just you. You scared me.”
“Sorry, here’s your drink.”
“Thank you so very much.”
“You are so very welcome.”
“It’s only been like that with you.”
“Huh?”
“I’ve only been talkative like this around you. Mostly it’s really hard to get to talk to me but for some reason it’s just really easy to talk to you I think it’s because we share the same interests. We both like anime, kpop, rilakkuma, and chiikawa. Plus your energy makes it hard for me to be quiet like I normally am.”
“WOAH I DIDNT KNOW YOU LIJE THOSE THINGS TOO. I know they said don’t judge a book by its cover but I find it VERY hard to figure out you like those things.”
“Yeah I keep it hidden except for the rilakkuma keychain on my bag my younger brother got it for me.”
“Woah I didn’t know you had a younger brother how old is he?”
“What you wanna hit on him?” I say jokingly.
“Bro stop. I just wanted to know cause you seem like an only child I don’t know your aura gives off that energy.”
“But yeah I do have one he’s a freshman he goes to our school but we’re not really on good terms. So we don’t walk home or talk at school, we rarely talk at home. It’s always quiet there anyway our parents are busy with their jobs that they forget they even have children and just think that giving them money is enough. My younger brother Rin is either at home or at a friend’s house but im normally at home so yeah in our house you can literally hear crickets chirp.”
“Could I come over sometime? Give you some company it seems very lonely.”
“Uhm yeah that would be nice it sucks having no family to talk to. I’ve tried to apologize multiple times to my brother but I don’t even know what I did we just don’t speak and it kills me everyday.”
Suddenly I feel arms wrap me in to a hug.
“I know we just met today but I just want you to know im someone you can talk to if you ever feel that way.” He then pulls out of the hug so we look each other dead in the eyes. And he does the most funniest face I’ve ever seen making burst into laughter.
“Could we exchange contact info so we can plan stuff and keep in touch?” I ask shyly bringing out my phone.
“YES! One sec let me get my phone.” Shiloh pulls his phone out his bag and it’s so cool. It’s a pink one with a bunch of chiikawa, hachiware, and usagi charms on it.
“I like your phone case.”
“Thank you!!”
“Okay so here’s my number.” Shidou comes closer to show me his number but our thighs meet and I can feel the heat that he radiates.
“Nice now I have the itoshi sae’s number in my phone.” He says as he looks at his phone like he just saw the most precious thing in the world.
“SAE!!!”
Wait is that?
“SAE!!”
“Oh look he’s right there.”
Suddenly I see Sendou running towards me at full speed.
“SAE!! WHERE WERE YOU? WE WERE SUPPOSED TO MEET UP 15 MINUTES AGO.”
“Sorry I ran into Shidou a while ago and we were just shopping together.”
“Hello nice to meet you.” Shidou then bows his head a bit.
“Yeah same.” Sendou and Aiku do the same.
“Well we have to go home now my mom’s been calling I still have chores to do unfortunately.” Sendou then sighs and turns to Aiku. “Can you come over and help me? Please..”
“Can I sleep over cuz if I can’t im not.”
“No trust you can.”
“Okay I’ll help.”
“YES!!”
“Alright lovebirds well I actually have to get home and finish homework so I gotta dip.” I say while packing my stuff.
“HEY WE ARE NOT!”
“Just let it go.” Aiku says while patting his shoulder.
“Call me when you get home.” Shidou says while grabbing his stuff as well.
“Okay I will, see you tomorrow.”
“See you.”

Ugh I’m beat I’ve been walking around all day and I have many assignments due tomorrow what should I do.
I get up from my bed sit at my desk and get my assignments from my bag.
“So let’s see which one should I do first Calcus, Physics, or English? But Physics would be easier and I suck at English. Ughh.” Then I hear the door open from downstairs.
Oh that’s probably Rin let me go say hi.
I quickly get up to see him before he goes to his room (that he doesn’t let me inside for some reason)
“Hey Rin how was school today?”
“None of your business.”
As expected but he’s still my little brother so I wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to him.
“You know you can tell me anything I’m here to help I’m your older brother.” I reach out my hand but he slaps it away.
“Older brother huh. Stop spewing that garbage. YOU’RE THE REASON WHY MY LEG IS LIKE THIS I CANT PLAY SOCCER FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!”
“But Rin I’ve told you many times it was an accid-“
“Shut it accident my ass. You were so deeply in love with soccer you didn’t even talk to me like this every day. Especially that one day when the ‘accident’ happened.” He did quotes with his hands on accident.
“Okay if that’s how you wanna be then I’ll stop trying to talk to you if you want space and if you don’t want to be near me just tell me and I’ll go sorry.” I turn around and close my door, I didn’t even wait for his response because I didn’t want to be hurt with the pain I was going to hear.
“Ugh now I’m not in the mood to do anything.” I look at my phone and see 4 missed calls from Shidou?
“OH CRAP I FORGOT TO CALL HIM!” I immediately dial his number to call him back.
“Uh hey sorry for not picking up your call I was busy.”
“Oh no that’s fine I just wanted to know if you were safe and at home.”
“Yeah I’m at home and trying to do my homework but I suck at English.”
“I can help English is one of the languages I can speak fluently.”
“REALLY THEN CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE?”
“Yes yes of course just tell me and I’ll help you.”
“Alright thank you so the first question is.”

“Thank you so much I’ll repay you tomorrow with lunch.”
“No it’s fine i offered to help.”
“But still I only asked you to help with English but you helped with all my homework I’m so grateful. Thank you.”
“Fine then what will you buy?”
“Buy? Oh no im making it.”
“REALLY?! I did not expect THE itoshi sae would know how to cook.”
“Well since my parents were never home I always had to make food for me and Rin so overtime i learned how to cook.”
“Wow that’s amazing Sae. You’re popular, good at soccer, rich, handsome, and can cook. You’re really amazing. I envy you.”
“Don’t. My life isn’t all that perfect. My parents are never home and if they are they don’t even talk to me, Rin avoids me like the plague, I have to do most of the chores around the house because my parents think I’m lazy so they don’t hire a maid to clean this big house, I have to go out and buy groceries. And on top of that school is so overwhelming with so many assignments.” I then hear my voice crack a little.
“Are you crying?”
“No what the hell boys don’t cry.”
“Who told you that?”
“My parents I cried once when I was a kid when I fell and scratched my knee on the pavement and my parents were saying that if I were a real man then I wouldn’t cry so ever since then I’ve tried my hardest to not cry.”
“That’s stupid. Everyone is gonna cry whether your scum parents like it or not. It doesn’t make you any less of a man. It doesn’t make you any less Sae. So don’t let anyone tell you that. You’re an amazing person whether you think so or not. And I’m glad I was able to be your friend.”
“Thank you.”
“Just saying what needs to be said. Anyway go hit the shower I know you haven’t and go to bed see you tomorrow.”

*2 days before the field trip*
“Okay everyone the field trip is 2 days away get into your groups and plan places you would like to go!” The professor then put a 45 minute timer for us to plan all the places.
“Okay Sae c’mon.” I turn to my left and see Shidou waving his hand to come sit by our group. Our group consisted of 4 students me, Shidou, Aiku, and Sendou.
“Okay where should we go to? Any ideas?” Aiku looks up from the book of places to go in Kyoto.
“Maybe we can go to the bamboo forest.”
Sendou recommends.
“Boringgg.”
“Well no one was asking you Sae!”
“Im literally in this group what are you talking about.”
“Whatever.”
“Uhm I have a recommendation.” Shidou raises his hand.
“Sure let’s hear it.” We all stop our bickering to listen.
“Maybe we can go to Kyoto International Manga Museum? Only if you guys want to though it’s fine if yo-“
“AWESOME!! I didn’t know there were places like that.” Sendou quickly gets up from his chair and looks over at Shidou’s phone to look at the details.
“I think it’ll be nice to go don’t you think so too old man?” I say looking up to Aiku.
“For the last time im 17!”
“Okay unc, anyways that’s a good idea do we have to buy tickets now or when we get there?”
“We can buy it online and for all of us it’ll be 1200 yen.” All 3 of them turn their heads towards me since my parents have a lot of money they give me.
“Fine, fine I’ll pay for them just give me the website to pay.” I pull out my phone from my pocket and hear relived sighs.
Maybe it’ll be nice to help my friends out on this trip by paying for some of their stuff.
“Let’s also go to the temple I have some prayers I need to say.” Aiku raises his hand to show his recommendation.
“Okay.”
At the end we had 6 places we wanted to go to.
“I’m beattt.” Sendou drags his feet across the floor.
“You don’t even do anything you were just on your DS playing games.” I say kicking him in the back of his knees.
“Sae you’re so mean..” He drags out the n in mean.
“Anyway who’s buying lunch?” Aiku looks back.
“Uhm I’ll buy it if that’s okay? Since I’m new to your group I guess I wouldn’t wanna be a burden and leech off you guys.” Shidou pulls out his wallet.
“Oh no no it’s alright you’re not a burden. And it’s nice having someone new here.” Aiku puts his arm around Shidou.
“Hey wait Aiku you said you’d carry me.”
“Guess what. You’re gonna have to walk or no lunch for you lol.” I then pat his back and run.
“Sae you jerk!” All of a sudden his legs work? Wow never would’ve guessed that.
“Have those 2 always been like that?” Shidou points his finger at them.
“Yeah they joke around like that but care for each other deeply same for me. And I can see the same applies for you about Sae.”
“W-What are you t-talking about we’re just friends.” Shidou hides his blush with his hand but there’s no covering up something so red.
“Never said you couldn’t care deeply for someone platonically.
“Oh. Wow. You got me.”
“So what do you like about him?”
“He has the same interests that I do, how shy and flustered he gets sometimes, how he does stuff even though he said he wouldn’t good things not bad, how he always tries to help even if he has no clue how to, his eyes that look like emerald, and how much he cares for you both.”
“Dang you are so down bad.”
“I knowww it sucks.”
“Well let’s hurry before the food gets cold.” Aiku starts running.
“Okay!”

I’m in the bathroom washing my hands and I just hear lots of coughing in the stall. Now I’m not dumb cuz it doesn’t take 2 seconds to smell smoke too.
“Hey I know you’re smoking in there.” I yell.
“Sae?”
Wait is that?
Then Shidou comes out the stall with a pink vape in his hand. It was bedazzled with pink and white beads.
“Oh I don’t know you smoked.”
“I don’t really but m- oh well besides that you want to take a hit?”
“I know it’s not good for me but whatever.”
I take the vape out his hands and inhale the smoke and blow it right into his face.
“HEY SAEEE”
“My bad.” I let out a little chuckle before I take another hit.
“I didn’t know you smoked either Sae.”
“Well I kinda don’t because I’m trying to quit but it’s hard to so yeah.”
“Oh wait I’m so sorry I tempted you take another hit.”
“Nah it’s whatever I literally took a smoke this morning. Rin hates it but I quite literally see the green vape he has in his bag. And I can smell it too he thinks I’m dumb.”
“Should we stay in the stall so we don’t get caught?” Shidou asks before opening the stall.
“Sure wouldn’t wanna get in trouble before our trip.” I walk inside the stall and realize…it’s seriously cramped.
“Uh you can sit on my lap if you want. I’m not smoking right now.”
Oh really thanks.” I sit on his lap and take another hit at the vape before I feel something poke up my butt.
No way is that what I think it is? I swear no way.
“I’m just gonna be straight up with you. Do you have a boner?”
He immediately sits up and covers his crotch.
“Bro make it any more obvious.”
“I’m really sorry I get boners easily I’m sorry.” He bows his head in embarrassment. He looks like a big puppy it’s really cute.
“It’s fine I’m not teasing you.” I bring my fingers up to his chin to look at his face. “I get it it’s high school don’t worry.” I see a faint blush of pink on his nose. He’s taller than me so I’m quite literally staring at his nose.
“But you probably are disgusted with me.”
“I’m not Shidou, you’re a great guy and just because you may get boners easily I don’t think any less of you it’s a human nature so how about we head home cuz we quite literally just skipped the last class of the day in here.”
“O-Oh right let me get my bag from the classroom.”
“Could you get mine too I’ll be waiting for you outside.”
“Yeah sure.”
In the classroom.
Oh my goodness I’m so embarrassed I shouldn’t have done that. Anyways let me get my bag. And then Sae- holy crap this is heavy what does he keep in here?
“Hey why is he taking Sae’s bag.” A girl whispers to her friend.
“Yeah you think he’s stealing some stuff.”
Suddenly the whole class erupts in conversation about me.
“H-Hey Sae told me to grab the his nag for him stop making up stuff.” I yell at them.
“Why are you yelling at me? You’re just a transfer what would you even know? This is why you’re weird like you’re a guy and you wear makeup up and platform heels that’s really gross who knows next you might even say you like boys.” The girl and everyone stars laughing but I don’t get what’s so funny.
“And what if I do like guys? Would that be a problem?” I shout back at her.
One of the guys must’ve thought it was funny but he shrieks and yells “Ew does that mean you like me?” Him and his friends start backing away from me.
“What did I do all I ever said was that I liked guys is that so wrong. So because I like someone of the same gender as me that makes we weird?”
“Oh look the rainbow boy wants to pick a fight.” She says in a mocking tone.
“WHAT THE HELL.” Sae’s voices erupted around the whole class and he starts walking towards me and the girl, everyone fell silent.
“Oh Sae you’re here I thou-“ He walked right past me and stood in front of the girl.
“Oh h-hey Sae~” the girl tries to put her hand on Sae but he immediately flicks it away.
“Don’t he Sae me. All I did was call my friend here to get my bag but then he was taking a while so I come here and first thing I hear is that it’s gross for him to like boys. What the hell is so wrong about liking men.”
She tries to talk but Sae immediately starts talking.
“I like boys too so if you think he’s gross then I’m gross too. That’s all I had to say.” He grabs my wrist and we start walking towards the exit. Once we’re far from the school I decide to starts talking.
*back to Sae’s POV*
“Sorry to get you in this.”
“You say sorry a lot it pisses me off.”
“Sor-“ He covers his hand with his mouth but I accidentally slip out a little laugh.
“You were quite brave out there standing up to those people.”
“Yeah I guess but at the end of the day I’m the one going home feeling like garbage.”
“What why?”
“Ever since I got into stuff like this my parents call me weird and disgusting terms to my face and just because I like boys they make me study really hard. And it wasn’t any better at school I had no friends in junior high because of this. You’re the first person who’s never judged me and I really thank you.”
“Your parents suck. You should come to my place.”
“S-Seriously?? Are you sure I won’t be a burden?”
“Nah no one is home anyway and we can watch Kpop Music Videos or anime.”
“Yes Okay Thank You.”
“Yes Okay Thank You? Oh my good Shidou you’re too much sometimes.” I starts laughing uncontrollably.
“Whatever.” He lets out a little laugh too.

“I’m home with a friend.” I announce to anyone in the house. Then I hear Rin from inside the kitchen.
“What why do you have one over today?”
“What do you mean it’s literally my turn on the chart.”
“No don’t you remember you said I could have all your dates where you could bring friends over.”
“Well I have a friend here so like it or not.”
“H-Hi my name is Shidou, nice to meet you.”
“Didn’t ask. Sae why’d you bring this guy over out of all the friends you have. Oh wait you only have 3 isn’t that right. Aiku, Sendou, and this boy right here. That’s what you call a loner lifestyle.”
“I mean yeah you’re not wrong o only have 3 friends. WHAT’S SO WRONG ABOUT THAT HUH?”
“It’s just the fact that even with my protestic leg I’m able to make more friends than you weirdo.” He throws a glass full of juice on me the juice got everywhere on me and the glass shattered all over the floor.
“Sae are you okay?” Shidou quickly gets a handkerchief out his bag and starts wiping my chest.
“Oh so is he your new partner? Didn’t know you went for guys but I should’ve expected it.”
“WHAT’S SO WRONG ABOUT ME LIKING BOYS!” Just in the moment my parents walked in with disgust on their faces.
“What’s that repeat what you said young man.” By mother’s tone I could tell she was so close the slapping me.
“I said what’s so wrong about me liking boys.” My dad walks over towards me and slaps me. Bingo I knew it. My parents hated me now they hate me more cause I’m gay.
“THATS SOME BS YOU DONT LIKE BOYS YOUVE ONLY DATED GIRLS!”
“That’s only because I didn’t know I liked boys until a couple months ago that’s why I broke up with my last girlfriend.”
“And who the hell is this.”
“Hello sir my name is Shidou.”
“Is he your friend?”
“No he isn’t. Of course he is Sherlock why else would he be here like are we lacking common sense?” I snap back at my dad.

“You guys hit me all you want and talk to me however but once I say something wrong it’s on me? This is so stupid. Come on Shidou we’re going.” I grab his hand and walk up the steps and shove Rin out the way. Then I slam the door as hard as I could.
“Oh my gosh they make me SO UNCOMFORTABLE.” I start pacing back and forth around my room. Once I feel a warm tug pull me into their lap.
“It’s okay Sae. I’m here now don’t worry.” I feel him brush my cheek with his finger and all of a sudden I just burst into tears. And start clutching the back of his shirt tightly
“I just can’t do it. Everyone hates me in my family. In school everyone most likely knows what happened today and is gonna stay away from me and you cause we’re gay. And on top of that I have many assignments due.”

I come out the shower drying my hair with a towel and I’m fully covered just letting that be known.

I got all my stuff out and told him all the stuff he needed to know about taking care of it and stuff.

“Yes I got the chart where we sit all the way in the back.”
“Okay that’s good. So the seats are 2 in a row so me and Shidou. And Sendou with Aiku.”

“Okay so seems like the seating is solved what about the money. We’re going to be there for 4 days so I put down 23,000 yen.”
“The richest one here is putting down little money are we so serious.” Sendou looked puzzled.

Shidou picked up his phone and went to some app to check his money I’m supposing. “I can put down 12,500 yen.”

“Wait no please go on the trip I would love to be in Kyoto with my new friends and this trip is the perfect opportunity for you guys to make up and maybe even get a little smooch in.” Shidou leaned on Aiku playfully.
“Shut up.” Aiku pushed Shidou off of him.

“Oh” He looks at his armpits. “OH. I’LL BE QUICK!” He runs towards the bathroom.

I can’t believe I’m dating the guy of my dreams I’ve always dreamed of the day when I could call him mine and he’s so freaking cute he’s like those people you see in TikTok you believe they’re AI because they’re so beautiful. I should ask him to do my makeup for the trip that’d be nice.
I go to my closet to pack my clothes but then I hear a click from my bathroom.

“I’m doing Kirby ones. Kirby is on the thumb, white on the index and ring finger and pink on the middle finger.”
“Then I’ll do…. I don’t know maybe like a light yellow on my thumb, middle, and pinky, then white on my index and ring finger.”

“Wait Sendou isn’t here.” Ainu says looking back (Shidou and Sae went to Sendou’s house because they’re going to school from Sendou’s house because their luggage is too heavy to walk)
“I’m pretty sure he’s yelling at his brother to hurry.” I say getting in the car.
“Yeah we should probably get our stuff inside before they get outside.” Aiku and Shidou starts rollling their stuff to the trunk of the car.
Everyone’s finally outside but..there’s a little issue.
“I’m definitely sitting in the back.” I raise my hand as a pledge.
“Well then I’m sitting in the back too!” Ryusei does the same.
“Okay so it’s settled Aiku’s sitting in the front with Yamato okay guys let’s get in!” Sendou starts pushing me and Ryusei to the back.
“Hey I didn’t get to say anything.” Aiku says looking like he’s about to cry.
“If you’re about to cry it’s not that serious just sit in the front a drive to school is 6 minutes.”
“But it’s not fair though ever since that day you’ve been so out of touch it’s so irritating just stop being a baby and let’s actually talk it out!”

Once we get to school we get to our home room class and the professor starts talking about rules and stuff I high key cannot lie I forgot.
“Alright everyone today is your senior year Kyoto trip it may be 7am but it’s a 5 hour trip so getting there as early as possible is good. You’re all in your groups so once i call your group you get a color coded wristband once you get the wristband, you must keep it on you at all times it must not be taken off until the end of this trip. Once you get to the bus you must put your luggage inside the back of the bus and sit in your designated spot that you chose before if you have decided prior that you will trade your seats with another group make sure you tell me before we get on the bus. Some rules is that curfew is at 10:30 PM. Any act of disobedience on the trip with vary depending on the situation, treat everyone with respect even if they may be rude and make sure your whole group sticks together. We don’t want any late night patrols other than that let’s get started on the group calling. Group number one Shidou, Sae, Aiku, Sendou come up and collect your light blue wristbands.”
We got up and everyone was mumbling under their breaths at first I was confused then I realized what we were wearing. It doesn't really matter anyway I can't wait to leave this school in March.
"Bro Shidou everyone was staring at us these pajama pants are too noticeable plus we're men." Sendou said dragging his stuff on the floor. Which is collecting dust every second.
"I mean you're right but we're not like other groups we're goated."
"....."
"Wow tough crowd."
"Besides that let's hurry before the other groups get to the bus before us." AIku says darting off before us.
"WAIT FOR US!!" Sendou and Shidou start running after him.
This is going to be a long 4 days.

"WOW these seats are awesomeeee." They were blue with white polka dots and they also have curtains installed on both the window side and the aisle side nothing special but to Shidou it looked like he just won the lottery.
"I'm so glad we got the seats all the way in the back this is so greatt the seats are so comfyy Sendou sit." AIku pulled Sendou by the wrist to sit down.

"The seats are so comfy you have to sit down get some of your stress out."

"Make up and make out but I don't wanna hear it or see it."
"Oh wow. So..you wanna start saying you bit first?" Oliver asks shifting his body to face me completely.
"Yeah. So first I just wanna start off by saying I'm so sorry for the way I was acting with you. It wasn't your fault and I shouldn't have done that to you. Truth is that I liked you the whole time it's just when you were saying things on why you liked me it just caught me so off guard like no one has loved me in a way that you were describing me to be. And I wanted to try and talk with you but I couldn't even look at you because I was so embarrassed and I was going to try at school tomorrow but sitting next to you after what happened was making me flustered so I just tried avoiding you after. Yamato suggested talking to you on the trip so now I am. Even though the way I was going to talk to you was different from this, this is still okay. So if you accept my apology would you be mt boyf-" Aiku suddenly kisses me.
"I thought you'd never ask."
