Chapter Text
It was early in the morning when Yiseul rose out of bed and followed her usually morning routine. However, this morning came with anxiety because Yiseul was transfering to a new school, Mooyoung High, because of her aunt So Simin being a new substitute teacher there. In the midst of getting ready Yiseul wondered how this school would be like and hoped it was not too much trouble, but such thoughts had to be pushed aside since she had to go downstairs in the kitchen for breakfast.
As soon as she got downstairs to the kitchen her aunt was there holding a cup of coffee.
"Hey you're awake, did you get a good sleep last night? I know this new transfer is scary but don't worry you have me" - Simin stated.
"Honestly aunt Simin I am really nervous for this new transfer that I did not get a good sleep at all and I don't even know what the school or the students are like." - Yiseul complained.
"It's ok honey I am sure you will be fine and if you have a problem just tell me, I'll handle it. Even use my old boxing techniques." - Simin reassured and joked.
"Thank you but I don't think they will allow a newly substitute teacher to beat up students" - Yiseul replied with a joke.
"That is true, anyways I will get going first because the teaching staff needs a briefing, so you will have to walk. Is that ok?" - Simin declared.
"That is fine with me, at least it will help with this anxiety" - Yiseul answered.
"Great see you there." - Simin concluded.
As Yiseul walked to her new school, she was overthinking in her head as to how she will introduce herself to others or how they will introduce themselves to her. By the time she was overthinking, Yiseul arrived at her new school, Mooyoung High. As Yiseul entered in the building she was amazed as to how this building is considered a school, as well as senses the positive energy from all the students. That's when Yiseul thought to herself that maybe she was really in her head and that maybe this place wasn't so bad after all.
Since Yiseul was given her schedule, she went to her first class and sat down in the middle row by the window and started unpacking needed supplies. As she was unpacking, she saw a girl in her vicinity coming near her desk and sat in the adjacent. Out of Yiseuls eye she saw the girl giving her a confused gaze to which she caught on.
"Hi I am Lee Aeri, I don't think I have seen you before" - Aeri introduced.
"Hi I am So Yiseul and I just transferred here so I am still finding ways to work around here" - Yiseul stated.
"Nice to meet you Yiseul, and don't worry I'll help you if you want." - Aeri politely declared. To which Yiseul thanked her.
This allowed both of the girls to talk to eachother and get to know one another before the start of class.
"I do want to tell you there is one more thing you should not do." - Aeri said with seriousness around her tone.
"What is that?" - Yiseul questioned.
"That is---"
Which was the last thing Yiseul heard before hearing the sound system of the school going off. And here Yiseul heard the sound of maniacal laughter hinting with threats of what would happen if you stood in his way. As this was happening Yiseul looked around and saw how everyone's mood shifted and how their blood turned into ice. Who was he? And what influence did he have?
As the sound system came to a stop suddenly everyone went back to their activities normally, as if they weren't threatened. Confused, Yiseul looked at Aeri for clarification.
"What was that" Yiseul questioned nervously
"That was Han Sugang and you must stay away from him. He practically bullies other students just because of his superiority and his parents reputation tied to this school. So stay away from him, no dares to against because of the power he has" - Aeri declared seriously.
After this shocking revelation to Yiseul, class started. But her mind was on one thing and she realized how this place was a place of survival because of who was running it and who dared challenged him resulted in dire consequences.
