You're Perfect

Summary:

Anaxa stared at himself through the mirror as he slowly traced his fingers through his imperfect body.

He hated this body.

More than anything, he never felt like it was truly his. He doesn't know what answer or comfort he's looking for but the mere thought of seeing himself was enough to anger him.

He didn't like himself.

Notes:

I felt a bit dysmorphic so thought I'd express it through anaxa lol... can't help but keep projecting myself to him.

please don't read too much into it. this is, of course, just my hc of him and how I view him as a character.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Anaxa stared at himself through the mirror as he slowly traced his fingers through his imperfect body.

He hated this body.

More than anything, he never felt like it was truly his. He doesn't know what answer or comfort he's looking for but the mere thought of seeing himself was enough to anger him.

He didn't like himself.

In the exterior, he was someone confident. He would challenge anyone that dares to question him. It was to encourage others and also himself to find answers to this strange world. Though, there was one equation that remained unsolved.

He hugged himself.

As if to comfort his broken body, he wrapped his arms around his waist. He always wanted to try and love himself, but how could he?

"Professor, you're beautiful."

Is what he heard Phainon said when they first had intercourse. His eyes was trailing from the top to the bottom of his body. He was relishing every corner of him.

It felt weird.

No matter how many times Phainon praised and loved his body, he never believed a word. In Anaxa's mind, he was only providing a word of comfort just like anyone would do to their distressed boyfriend.

"I would still love you no matter what form you take."

Phainon was persistent when it comes to kisses. He would always leave small pecks every chance he gets no matter the places. It won't be a surprised to know that he had kissed every part of his body while whispering sweet lies.

But how Phainon handled him like he was something precious. Like he was something worth to be treasured and love. It would be a lie if he said those gestures don't make his heart flutter.

"You're perfect just the way you are."

Maybe.

Just Maybe. Phainon will slowly teach him how to love himself just as how he loved him. It wouldn't hurt to trust him, wouldn't it?

Notes:

disclaimer:
I am not trans, but I do feel dysmorphic. I just thought anaxa to be trans to fit the narrative more. If it offends you, then that is not what I intended.
