Work Text:
The snow had caused everyone to be stuck in their apartments, and it sucked.
Percy never did well with being stuck in confined places for long periods of time.
A quote from his father at a very young age, ‘The sea doesn’t like to be restrained.’ But that was exactly what was happening right now.
It was a weather advisory that everyone stay inside, and that there was too much snow to really be able to even drive around. But it meant that the coffee shop where Percy worked was closed down as well.
Jason always told him that he didn’t need to work; being a Crime Lord made more than enough money, but Percy liked the thought of being able to go out while Jason was busy and do stuff. It was also calming being able to work at a small coffee shop. Plus, on days when Jason didn’t have stuff, he would often bring in a book and sit in one of the corner booths and read while Percy worked.
But the snow was stopping him from being able to go anywhere; there was at least 2-3 feet of snow on the ground, and while he had faced more when he was in Alaska, for Gotham, New Jersey, it was a good amount, more than a normal good amount.
It was the first winter that Percy was spending in Gotham, so he didn’t know how much snow they usually got, but it seemed like a lot from how everyone was reacting.
But it was making Percy restless, being stuck in the apartment, and while it was a good size for an apartment, it was still small.
Jason still had to go out as Red Hood, of course, he would; that wouldn’t stop, especially if the world was ending. But it made Percy so Bored.
Maybe it would melt enough soon so he could go out.
