AIO about my friend’s friend’s behavior?
Advice
On my burner so neither of them find this. For context, I (19F) and my best friend’s friend (18M) are both really close to our mutual friend (17M), but I’ve known him longer. Since childhood. Friend's friend didn't show up until middle school. I've never liked this guy, but I tolerated him for my friend. They play a game with a few other friends twice every week, and sometimes I like to sit in and play with them as well. I was the one who originally introduced my friend to this game, but I never was as obsessed with it as he got. I love playing it, and I'm pretty good at it too, but this guy always insists that because I'm a girl, I shouldn't be playing it? Which makes no sense, because another player in their group is a girl, but I digress.
He has made a bunch of weird comments like this before. He's always super passive aggressive when we talk, and in all honesty I think he might be gay for our mutual friend with how possessive he gets about him. Nobody ever comments on his behavior except for me, and I would like to reiterate, I only tolerate him for my best friend, so when he makes misogynistic comments such as these, I usually just ignore him or threaten to chop his balls off. This past weekend, though, he went too far. He seemed to already be upset when he walked in, and he soured even more when he saw me there. He started loudly complaining to one of the other players about "females trying to insert themselves into everything" and how we "should just stick to the kitchen" and other comments along these lines. I was sick of it, so I spent most of the gaming session sabotaging the things he did. I will admit, it was a dick move, but he had been asking for it for months. Halfway through the game, he got fed up with how I was playing, and he demanded that our mutual friend kick me out of the session. I objected, of course, and our mutual friend asked him to calm down, which did not happen. He decided instead to get out of his chair and attempt to physically drag me out of the session.
This is where I may have overreacted: I punched him in the face. His nose was bleeding and everything. I really didn’t mean to, but I’ve taken self-defence classes and my instincts kicked in. Obviously everyone was shocked at this, and the session ended. Our mutual friend is on my side, and it’s been making this guy pout, but the other members of the group keep telling me that I overreacted and I wanted other opinions. Thanks.
TL;DR I punched a guy over his misogyny and ruined a session of a game.
EDIT: I’m a lesbian. I don’t have feelings for our mutual friend, who is gay. Stop suggesting this shit.
EDIT 2: If you saw the way this guy interacted with our mutual friend you would understand my comment about him being gay. Stop mentioning that part.

Quality paints?
Advice
My favorite paint brand changed their recipe recently. Does anyone have any recs for high quality but affordable paints? Should I just suck it up and use the changed recipe?

AITA for not wearing pantaloons?
For context I (M18) and my best friend (M17) LARP with some of our other friends a couple times a month. I usually wear the costumes but this time I wasn't really feeling it. so I refused the pantaloons in the costume. I told him I was gonna wear my jeans and he could whine all he wanted but I wasn't gonna budge on wearing those ugly things. For whatever reason this upset my friend and he was pouting about it and he said if I wasn't wearing the pantaloons I had to at least give my character a voice, which I also refused. He started making a huge deal out of it and I decided I was just gonna go home instead.
Now our friends aren't talking to me. They're all telling me I was a dick and I should've just done one or the other so I didn't ruin the fun. I don't get why me not doing something so stupid ruined any sort of fun because I still tried to participate in the roleplay. So AITA?

[HELP] Need new places to shop
Advice
I live in the middle of nowhere, anyone have tips on finding more 70s vintage pieces? Preferably places in the midwest, like the Indiana-Ohio-Kentucky-Illinois area. My local thrift store never has anything good or useful.

Talking it out.
Relationships
I don't need advice, I just want to talk. I (17F) am a lesbian. I have known this girl, L (17F) for a few years now, and I've liked her for most of that time. She's bright, funny, and charismatic. She's always willing to lend an ear, and her and I have fun together. I never have more fun than when I'm with her. She is beautiful, too. Like, blindingly. It was inevitable that I'd fall for her.
I'm sure you could guess where this was going. She's straight. She's also religious, which adds that extra layer of it's not happening. I know it's stupid, but I keep holding out hope. Like, one day she's just going to wake up and realize that she's gay, and that I'm the girl for her. Yeah, as if. She'll look at me when she thinks I'm not looking sometimes, but that's just how she is. It's so pointless to hope it means anything, but I can't help myself. I want to be her reason to smile, and her reason to keep going, y'know? The way she is for me. She's my muse, and she'll never know it. It just sucks, I guess. I guess that was the point of this. I'll probably end up deleting it. Whatever. Thanks for reading if you got this far.

Black Flag Album ranking
Clearly Loose Nut is on top. Then My War and Slip It In are tied for second, then Damaged, THEN Family Man. Not up for debate

"Vince!" Tanya yelled, knocking a few more times on his bedroom door. They were supposed to leave for the party like, fifteen minutes ago, but he had yet to finish getting ready. It was fine, Tanya was wasting her time arguing with some idiot on Reddit anyway, but she was starting to get bored.
"I'm almost done. What else did he say?" Vince yelled back through his door. Tanya reread the post she'd just commented on.
"Nothing new. He has some serious repression going on, though. I almost feel bad for him." She sighed, jaw clenching as she reread his other replies. "Almost."
After a few moments of silent contemplation, Tanya spoke up again, "He kinda reminds me of Kiet." She heard Vince's responding laughter through the door and felt smug. Kiet could try with all his might, but Vince was still Tanya's best friend. Suck on that, Hoang.
Finally, Vince's door opened. She took a second to scan him, appreciating the makeup he'd done. She gave him a thumbs up and a grin, which he reciprocated. The idiot on Reddit could wait until after the party, she decided, grabbing her friend's arm to drag him to her car. Lauren was going to be there, and she was excited to see the other girl.
"I just can't believe this rando thought it was appropriate to extend our beef to my vent post!" Kiet complained for the third time within the hour. He knew he sounded like a broken record, but he just couldn't believe the fucking audacity of this internet stranger. Nevermind the fact that he started it, that wasn't relevant to his ranting. Vince nodded, clearly paying no attention to Kiet as he wrote something in his notebook, ignoring the party around them.
"You sound like the Boss right now," Vince commented. Kiet immediately cringed.
"Dude, don't compare me to her. I'm much more sophisticated." And he had the broken nose to prove it. Vince just laughed, closing his notebook for the first time in a bit.
"I'm gonna go get a drink, you want anything?"
"Wait, Vin, get this: Reddit girl called me a chud on the original post. Did I mention that yet? She was the one getting violent over alleged misogyny, but I'm the chud." Vince looked like he was about to say something sarcastic (like the bastard usually did), but something made him pause.
"Hold on, what was this girl's first post about?" Kiet gave him a weird look. Typical of Vince to focus on the wrong thing. He shrugged and reopened Reddit on his phone to find it, reading it aloud.
What he didn't expect was for Vince to burst out laughing. Kiet didn't quite understand what was so funny, but Vince would not stop cracking up.
"What? What's so funny?" He demanded, but Vince, the bastard, just waved him off, still laughing.
"You'll understand when you're older," Vince got out between laughs. Kiet was going to comment on how he was older than Vince, but Vince got up to actually get his drinks, leaving Kiet alone to question what the hell just happened.

YOR. lmao, average foid. He didn’t say anything that wasn’t true. Try not being so sensitive.

You and him clearly share a singular chud braincell. Don't comment if you're going to be of no intellectual help.

NOR. Who the hell does he think he is? You're free to play whatever you want, especially with your best friend. He needs to back off. I'm wondering-- is it possible his parents never gave him enough attention? Perhaps that's why he's developed this mindset.

Finally, a normal person with something normal to say. It seems pretty likely that's the case, I only ever see his sister parenting him, and she's only a couple of years older than us.
Alert-Drop923 · 20 minutes ago
Ah, that explains it then. Suggest your friend recommends some therapy for this guy or something. I'd also suggest talking to your friend about his behviour, since he seems to be a passive observer who has done nothing to protect you, his supposed best friend, up to this point. Good luck, internet stranger.
