As was in the description, this book is a sequel to fourteen, where Lloyd went off to school in another realm and got into some messed up teenage shit, and now he's back, and has to help the Ninja investigate a new villain like nothing is different. Obviously, that'll go well.
fourteen was kind of like a genderbent version of thirteen set in the Ninjago universe with Lloyd as the doomed teenager, aka Tracy. This kind of happened when I watched thirteen for the first time whilst in the Ninjago fandom. I still love Ninjago and I still haven't seen a male equivalent of thirteen or Mean Girls or that kind of movie in that kind of reckless cathartic teenage way, so I did it myself.
This book can possibly be read without fourteen, but you'll lose a LOT of context, so I'd recommend just settling down for the long run and enjoying the full story

Anyway, some background, started this nearly 4 years ago, been working on it on-and-off basically as I've gone through the beginning of my own deranged teenhood, based some events off my own experience (I'm still a teen, phrasing it like that makes me sound like an old geezer, ik), that'll be mentioned in annotations (not in a venting way, just an education, like halloween in fourteen). I'm gay so Lloyd is hella gay, my bad.
Many trigger warnings, I'll list them at the end of each chapter in the author's notes along with some stuff I'll put the Wattpad annotations, like what I would've done/refined if I had more time. Obviously, the trigger warnings include spoilers for the chapter, (e.g. If I say TW: emetophobia or lime (YES IT'S ACTUALLY A LIME THIS TIME)) but not major ones ig, so I put them at the end.
Oh, and I'm British, and don't remember much from my time in America as a kid, so even though I've written this with American vocabulary the best I can (comforter, color, tire not tyre, the slang, etc), I might cock some things up. I did some research but winged it in the end. Winged a lot of this.
And I'm a grammar neek, I'll admit, that might show up. Also, I underlined these to make them easier to read if I'm waffling (I always am).
I have all of the chapters almost finished (just editing them) so I'll post them once a month-ish (three this month, two January, then one a month), and make any updates if there's a delay on my tumblr, which you should totally go check out. The next two chapters should come out Christmas day or Boxing day, and New Years.
But yeah, wrote all of the chapters this year somehow so maybe let me off the hook if it has a different writing quality than fourteen. I mean, I still treated this like an actual nother novel to flex my writing, so it's not bad, but just a heads-up. And I've changed too in that time so this story is arguably more mature, even it's set in Ninjago, but crazy shit still happens, just not the same shit.
Hope this is something like people wanted as a sequel, feel free to comment, or point out any spelling errors (they give me visceral reactions of cringe when I spot them so please do).
