Tropical Land, it was once a theme park where imagination and dreams come true, where family and friends came together on weekends and holidays to spend time with each other. It was once considered to be the most technically advanced theme parks within the entertainment industry back in the days.
The reason? The animatronic attractions that were made for each park location, rides and games; From the main entrance to the water rides, all composed of different kinds of animatronic types and different animals, each having their own unique personality and quirks. The some of the animatronics could even move smoothly, speak and interact with the guests as if they were alive.
It was considered highly advanced for its time and because of how life-like the animatronics were, the theme park was extremely successful. However despite how popular and successful the park was, it was shut down 7 years ago. No warning, no advance notice or reason. Just closed forever.
No one knew why they suddenly closed their gates; Some believed it was because of the construction of the new Tropical Land that had finished it's construction just a week later, saying that the company didn't have the funds to keep both parks; Others say that it was because of how outdated the animatronics were and require too much care and maintenance.
However despite all these logical and rational reasons possibly being the reason they clos- abandoned the once successful theme park, there were rumours and whispers about the more darker reasons that led to them closing down the theme park; There were rumours that it was to cover up presumably the dea-disappearance of some night guards that had worked at the park not long before the park was abandoned, in fact it was because of its closure that the park was never tied to the case.
This started to cause other rumours to surface; How the animatronics would move on their own at night against their original programing, some even say that they were hunting down the night guards which is why not many stayed after barely a week. Which was ridiculous to assume as the animatronics had a facial detection device that differentiate the staff members, guests and possible threats.
Some believed that it had something to do with the countless disappearance that happened years ago, teenagers who entered the park but never came back out. It was rumoured that they were murdered and their bodies were hidden somewhere within the park, left alone, abandoned and forgotten; Their cases going cold and left forgotten in the storage files of the police department, their families never getting the answers to what really happened to them.
And lastly there was that 'freak accident' that happened 17 years ago, well presumably 'freak accident'. It was the only known death that happened at the park ; One of two had carried the other to the front stage before succumbing to his own injuries and collapsed, sadly since both boys suffered fatal wounds and they had died not long after. It was however ruled as a freak accident since the two had presumably snuck into the backstage where unfinished and exposed endoskeletons lay around.
Despite the protest of their parents...
However as time passed, people began to forget about the park along with the many mysteries that were left behind; Including the once active animatronics that now rot alongside the park, a forgotten mystery...
