The sun was hanging low, and the yellow light was shining throughout the halls of Tracen academy. An Uma was walking down the hallway; her brown hair was flowing down her back. The dark green racewear she was wearing, making her look regal and proud almost like royalty. The sound of her boots hitting the floor as she walked was the only sound that could be heard through the halls. Her tail swished back and forth slowly as she walked towards her destination. Stopping suddenly her ears twitched flicking towards the sound of arguing and voices shouting coming from a closed door. She carefully walked towards the door and grabbed its handle with her gloved hand turning the knob.
“Prez you're here, did you come to see the photoshoot”. Said a young Uma with brown hair and piercing blue eyes.
“No, Teio I heard some shouting and came in here to see if you guys needed some help” Replied Rudolf looking at Teio
“Well, Teio, isn’t standing still long enough for the photographer to take the picture” Replied another Uma, this one wearing what looked like a wedding dress
“we’ve been standing her for hours and you seem to want everything to be perfect” Replied Teio stomping her feet lightly on the ground
“Don’t stomp I understand that you are upset” Replied Air Groove her voice stern
“I might have a suggestion” Replied A Uma that seemed to appear out of nowhere.
“Gold ship what are you doing here” Asked Rudolf
“Idk my Gold ship Senses were tingling, and came in here to see what was happening” Replied The white-haired Uma
“Okay what was your, suggestion” Asked Air groove
“Well since Rudolf is here, why don't you include her on the photoshoot” said Gold ship grinning
“Whaat” said air groove looking at Rudolf a light blush on her face
“Please Prez, you're already dressed up in your racing wear” Said Teio her tail whipping back and forth rapidly
“I'm sure the President has more important things to do”. Said Air groove nervously
"I don't see why not, it's my job as the student council president to help my fellow Uma's," said Rudolf
Rudolf put a hand on Teio's shoulder to calm the younger Uma down. She grabbed Air groove hand and pulled her to stand next to her. The photographer took that as a sign to take the photo. Air groove was staring at Rudolf with a light blush on her face.
A few days later the newspaper was printed out, showcasing the photo of the emperor and empress with the young monarch. The student of Trace academy were gossiping and talking about the photograph.
"They almost look like a family" said Special week showing the newspaper to her roommate Suzuka
Suzuka grabbed the newspaper from her roommate letting out a hum
" They do kinda look like a little family don't they, I mean the president already kind of acts like a parent to Teio" said Suzuka humor in her voice
The sound of footsteps running caused the duo to turn around. It was Air groove who had a bunch of copies of the school newspaper in her hand. She quickly grabbed the newspaper from Suzuka's hand startling her. The sound of Air groove's footstep was all that could be heard as she rapidly ran down the hallway.
Teio was sitting her dorm her roommate Mayano Top Gun was sleeping on her bed. Teio had a copy of the newspaper which she carefully, put up on the wall above her bed. She had a massive grin on her face as she looked at the photo. The sound of footstep rapidly approaching, cause Teio to turn around. A loud Bang was heard as Air groove ran into the room causing the door to fly off its hinges. She rushed past Teio grabbing the newspaper off the wall and quickly zooming out of the room.
" What was that "Replied Mayano sleepily waking up from the noise. Teio was too shocked to reply to her roommate her mouth hanging open.
It was sunny and clear on the track as Vodka and Daiwa Scarlet were laughing and staring at the newspaper.
" So, the emperor and empress do you think there together" Asked Vodka
" I think that the empress likes the emperor but, the emperors to dense to notice" said Scarlet looking at the photo
"You're probably right, have you seen the two of them together," said vodka
"Yeah, Air groove couldn't be more obvious I'm surprised Rudolf hasn't caught on yet" Replied Scarlet humor in her voice. The rapidly approaching sound of footstep could be heard as a blur grabbed the newspaper out of the duos hand. The duo was too shocked to speak as the blur ran towards the academy. Meanwhile in the student council room at the academy. "So, Prez have you heard the rumors" said Narita Brian as she was doing some paperwork in the student council's office
"Of course, I've herd the rumors" said Rudolf humor in her voice
"Really Prez," said Brian Facepalming
"What I thought that was quite clever of me". Said Rudolf
"But in all seriousness, what do you think of the rumor about you and Air groove being in a relationship?". Asked Brian looking at the President
"Me and Air groove have been in relationship for years, so I don't what the fuss is about" Replied Rudolf
"They mean that the two of you love each other" repiled Brian bluntly
"Of course I love groove she's one of my best friends. The other student know that so whats the big deal". Replied Rudolf grinning
"You know what prez, let me blunt. Air groove loves you okay". Replies Brian looking at the president hoping that she understands
"We she's my friend so I hope she loves me" Replied Rudolf filling out some more paperwork.
"You still don't get it, do you Air groove wants to kiss you and do couple stuff". yelled Brian getting at her wits end dealing with the dense emperor
"Brian I know what kissing is but, What is this couple stuff you speak of. So I may do, that with Groove". Said the emperor looking at Brian
"Prez you are so dense," said Brian looking at the president shaking her head in disbelief
Air groove had a stack of the newspaper in here hand; she carefully shredded them and put them in some batter. Frying the batter covered newspaper, she carefully put them on a plate and pushed them towards an ashen colored Uma that was seating down in the cafeteria.
"Oh, Oguri I got some food for you" said Air groove putting the plate Infront of Oguri cap
"Thanks, I guess" Said Oguri already starting to consume the food
Air groove carefully walked away towards her dorm. Holding the final copy of the newspaper that caused such a stir in the academy. She glances at the photo one last time brushing her hand over the emperor and hopes one day she can confess to the Uma she loves.
