Severus Snape wondered if trying Legilimency on the Granger girl was such a good idea as he found himself in a black featureless void or so it seemed.
A dark feminine chuckle came from behind the potions master “Many events in your life Severus Snape could be called not a good idea this is just the latest one.”
Snape turned to face a woman wearing black and grey robes but with the hood up all he could see were a pair of ice cold pale blue eyes staring back at him. Held in the woman's right hand was what appeared to be the hilt of a sword, but where was the blade?
“Who are you?” Snape all but demanded.
“Who I am is unimportant and you're in no position to make demands. You are the intruder into Granger's mind, not I.”
“How?”
Severus could almost feel the woman’s smirk “I wouldn’t be much of a guardian if I didn’t know who’s mind I was guarding now would I.” She said “It’s time you left as you’ll find nothing here.”
“I suppose you’ll make me?”
The woman’s smirk became a grin that had an evil quality to it, not that the potions master could see it. “Thought you’d never ask.”
The last thing that Severus Snape remembered was the woman pressing something on the sword hilt she held and with a snap-hiss a violet coloured blade sprang forth but it was her eyes that he’d remember with dread as they went from icy blue to fiery yellow in an instant.
