Lore Drop and Behavior Explanations i think
Naosuke joined the music club because he admired how Taylor Swift played the piano and guitar in her shows and how her music sounded, mainly Speak Now and part of Fearless, as Red released until the autumn that he joined Karasuno.
Discovered he was gay from a young age, but didn't make it much of a fuzz (mainly because he didn't want it being known). Fell in love with Kageyama because of his looks, but his crush gained strenght when he saw him trying to strike up casual conversations (he thought he looked cute asf). Also he thinks the smile when he tries to smile is super cute.

Is son of a single mother who loves him a lot and he loves her back, but tension sometimes rises between them, but nothing major has happened... yet.
Actually did volleyball in middle school, and was a setter, but his mediocre skills and general environment never pushed him to be better, so he settled for a different club when he joined high school.
