At the Pizza-Party-Torium, Tuesday June 11th 2035, around 8:40pm…
Hiro was at a bunch of tables scootched together to make a large one; as today he, Karmi, Olivia, Juniper, Trina and a bunch of their friends were out having fun since it was less than two days before the school year ended; with the fall starting up Hiro’s final year at SFIT. They would’ve held the outing the next day but there were a lot of things happening then; and the timing was working great. “This pizza is delicious!” Juniper gushes. “And makes me glad I ditched my fear of Chuck E. Cheese mascots by the time I was 7.”
“Oh I get that.” Megan notes. “Some people find the costumes scary.”
Olivia nods. “Yeah, I was scared off butterflies for YEARS due to that one SpongeBob episode. And it wasn’t even a butterfly; it was close ups of a horse fly!”
Honey Lemon then shivers. “Yeah, and I didn’t think ANYthing could put me off butterflies. That was a sad two weeks.”
“Wait what about the hippo-phobia then?” Sienna brings up after stuffing her face with cheesy breadsticks, getting a sheepish chuckle from her redheaded friend. “I’ll explain later.”
Mr. Sparklez and Sarah then come to the table with the taco-pizzas Fred ordered for the gang to try. “Here you go; our new taco/pizza hybrid!” Mr. Sparklez says with dramatic flair.
“Which is a pizza with a tortilla chip/stuffed crust hybrid with taco meat and cheese mixed in with the pizza cheese and toppings.” Sarah chimes in. “Not to be confused with Taco Bell’s Mexican pizza.”
“ENJOY! WOO!” Mr. Sparklez says before he does a cartwheel out, with Sarah; caught off guard once more, doing a sheepish jig on her way back to her post. "I actually did think of the Taco Bell pizza." Ursula remarks in an amused tone.
Wasabi inspects the pizza before tasting it. “Hmm, tastes exactly like the two said it did.” He says plainly; as he didn’t really care for it. “Fred what was your plan if basically only like 8 of us ate this?”
“Weekend snack.” The comicbook fan smirks and shrugs before he starts eating another piece, with Olivia Mole snickering in response. “Yeah, surprisingly none of the maids at my house are vegan nor vegetarian.”
Hiro nearly snorts soda out of his nose as he laughs. “Alright that I wasn’t expecting.” He chuckles as Ari and Ursula were still cackling. “Also you’re not mad that there’s still no nonservice animals aloud, are you Rach?”
The freckled reporter waves it off. “Eh, Katie will be fine with leftovers. She’s probaly livestreaming to share that story of how she met that alternate Katie and the two of them talking made Kang faint. I get it; it’s funny, but she’s mentioned it once every time she uses any kind of social media.” She rolls her eyes in annoyance. “She must not be familiar with oversaturation.”
Trina finishes drinking her fountain cup, so she shakes the ice in it. “Hiro, wanna come with me to get a refill?”
“Sure.” Her scruffy haired cousin smiles as the two get up and head to the soda machine. Meanwhile Mikan was enjoying the restaurant’s new experimental French fry/cheesy breadstick hybrid. “Mmm.” She smiles as she enjoys the flavor. “I better bring some for Liv.”
Over at the soda machine, Hiro and Trina could hear and see the video games as little kids played them; one of them being Brooke; Fred’s rival that attended Wendy Wower’s Science Hour class. “So cous, how does it feel to be finishing your first year at SFIT?” Hiro wonders, getting a delighted smile from Trina as her cup is close to being filled up. “It’s exhilarating.” She gushes as she takes her cup off the soda lever. “I’m learning more about well, my own race.” The robot teen notes with a warm snicker. “And I get to hang out with my cousins and best friends. And since I attended I have a little sister as well as another older sister, as well as more aunties. Overall, I feel like I’m top of the world.” She softly gushes, her low tone making her voice rasp.
Hiro can’t help but smile from a warm heart as he sips his Orange Sunkist; glad that his cousin had a more than amazing year at SFIT. “What about you?” She asks, getting a “Hmm?”
“This is the end of your third year, next year you graduate.” His blue-eyed cousin elaborates. “A whole chapter of your life is changing. How does it feel?”
Her cousin then looks at his soda cup and makes it slush around a bit as he thinks deeply about it. “It’s, a change.” He notes softly. “While everything is not as I originally wanted it all those years ago, it has for the most part gone better.” He smiles a bit. “So, while I’m nervous, I’m happy about who and what I have in my life and also excited for what comes next.” He says confidently as he looks back up at his cousin; who can’t help but smile warmly. “That’s great. We can be there for each other.” Trina says before giving Hiro a kiss on the cheek as she leads the way. “Now let’s go before Mikan hogs the rest of those weird Crazy Breads.”
“Yeah, let’s go.” Hiro says as he follows her, ready for whatever the next year of his life would bring.
