“Hmmm….”
You sat at the table, a variety of color lipsticks set before you. Along with them, a small mirror, makeup wipes, and a chapstick for the aftercare your lips would definitely need after.
From the kitchen, a certain hunter emerged, glasses of milk tea and snacks in hand. Xavier coming over only to find you doing something unusual was something he had come to expect. No doubt by the look on his face though, he was certainly curious.
“That's a lot of makeup… Did you buy them all?” He asked, setting his bearings down before sitting next to you. “I didn't think they came in so many colors.”
“I got a lot of them as freebies, but I can't decide what looks good. Some are unusual colors, I think there’s a gloss or two in here too.” You moaned, looking through your collection.
You often wore makeup, mostly for fun and a little confidence boost. You had clear favorites and rarely strayed from what worked. Now that you had options, it showed how indecisive you could be.
While you sat there pondering what to do, Xavier picked one of the lipsticks up, uncapping it and giving the back of his hand a slight swipe. By no means was it a perfect swatch, but he saw you do it enough times to know what the purpose of it was. The swatch revealed a subtle nude color, almost a perfect match for your skintone.
Xavier looked at the color swatch on his hand, then to you. “This color is nice.”
You smiled. “You like that one?” You replied, and then, you had an idea, a mischievous grin daring to show on your lips. “Can I see that? I need to test it on myself.”
Xavier passed it to you, along with your little mirror. He watched keenly as you applied the lipstick. It really did look good on you. You pretended to look at it in the mirror a little longer, before glancing at him.
“It is pretty.” You mused. “But I need to test something else with it.”
Xavier looked at you, curious, slightly confused. His naturally innocent looking expression (when he wasn't preoccupied with other desires that is) was enough to make your heart burst. You'd almost feel bad for what you planned to put him through.
Almost.
You scooted closer to him, leaning in, and placed a kiss on his cheek. Almost instantly you could see his ears flush, and when you pulled away? You saw the perfect print of your lips in the same shade as the lipstick on his cheek.
“Hmmm… it transfers a lot.” You said, feigning ignorance like you didn't just plan that. “Maybe not this color.”
Xavier was quiet, but then, he'd go to grab another lipstick. This one was a subtle pink color. “We can try another one. How about this?”
Another color, another lipstick, and another lipstick kiss print on his cheeks. One after another, Xavier was your willing ‘victim’ in your quest to find a good lipstick. Truth be told, you had your favorite already in your bedroom; what was supposed to be just you experimenting turned into the two of you having more fun than you thought it'd be.
By the time you were finished, Xavier was absolutely covered in a variety of kiss marks of different colors. However, the blissful look in his eyes said anything but displeasure. You don't think you've ever seen him so content before.
“Not a single one of them is transfer proof. Damn.” You said, before your eyes went to a single, unused flavored lipgloss in the bunch. “Wait, we got one more.”
Xavier snapped back into focus long enough to take a peek. “Lipgloss?”
“Looks to be. Enough energy for one more?” With a nod of his head, you wiped the last lipstick off, and applied the gloss.
Preparing for yet another marking on his face, instead, you aimed for his lips. Gentle, almost innocent, but as you tried to pull away, he pulled you right back in. You could taste a hint of the gloss, no doubt he could too. By the time he pulled away, your cheeks were absolutely flush red, as were his.
“Hmm…” he hummed. “Tastes like… Cherries?”
At this point, it mattered little to you; it was times like this you were reminded that Xavier wasn't as innocent as he looked. You even wondered if maybe he had planned a bit of this himself, waiting for the opportunity. You could see his lips curl into a soft smile, going to grab one of the lipstick tubes.
“I think it may be your turn now.” He purred.
This experiment would be going on for a little while longer it seems.
