Madison is in school, and she is up next for her express yourself presentation ''Okay class who is up next?'' Mr. ocean said squinting his eyes. Madison slowly raises her hand ''Me,'' she said in a shy tone ''okay Madison take it away,'' Mr. Ocean said excitedly. Madison goes up and plays her video she made for the assignment. The video starts off with Madison saying ''See you might think you know the coolest people alive but whoever you think it is, your wrong see let me introduce you to some people,'' The video then cuts to Vida spinning records on a turn table then spray-painting ''This is my sister Vida she is the most artistic person I know. Growing up she would protect me no matter what,'' Then it cuts to Chip doing witchcraft with a cheap spellbook singing a spell ''This is Charlie, but we call him Chip. He is not a part of this world, mentally he is never on the same wavelength as everybody else is and honestly, it's pretty cool,'' The camera pans over to Xander riding his skateboarding and playing football ''Xander. He is a self-centered guy but at the same time so caring I don't know how he makes that work, but we all love him,'' Then it cuts to nick fixing his motorcycle engine ''And this is nick we met him a lot later than the others but he is the most honest and reliable person I know,'' The camera cuts to Madison saying ''And those are all my friends, Bye'' Madison turns it off and looks happy. She looks over at Mr. Ocean and he looks disappointed ''What's wrong Mr. Ocean'' she said confused ''What is this, the presentation was supposed to be about you but all I see are your friends,'' ''Yeah well that's what I did, I put it in videography form," Madison said defensively yet soft ''Well are you your friends. I'm sorry but this just feels like you purposely did not showing yourself,'' Madison looks down ''Listen Madison, I think you are an incredible student with so much potential and that's why giving you until Monday to redo the assignment, if not I'll have to no choice but to give you a D,'' Madison looks down, twiddling her thumbs, trying to stop herself from crying. The school bell rings. school is out for the week. Everybody leaves the classroom except for one girl who drops her pencil and Madison bends down to grab it but, so does the girl. They both grab it at the same time, and their eyes lock. They both stand up, then Madison said ''hi, um are you new?'' she says nervously. The girl laughs with an amused smile ''yeah, I came here late because my family moved,'' The girl said smiling widely ''What's your name?'' She asked ''oh Madi, and yours?'' Madison said flustered ''I'm Dani,'' ''Dani'' Madison says admiring how pretty she looks with her light blue eyes, Brunette hair and smooth brown skin with freckles on them ''hey don't worry about your presentation I thought it was pretty good,'' Dani said nodding uncertainly ''really?" Madi asked skeptical ''Yeah,'' Dani said with a faulty smile ''do you really think that?'' Madi said, her smile almost disappearing ''Um, if I'm being honest, it was a little bland. It was supposed to be about you, and it wasn't. It gave off the idea that you don't have a sense of self,'' Madison feels looks down again Dani notices and playfully punches her shoulder "It's fine, you know you're going to be a great videographer one day," Madison cheers up a little bit and smiles at her. Dani smiles back ''See you on Monday,'' Madison said leaving the classroom. She feels flushed yet worried, does she really show no sense of self, really?
