I. Pokemon Go AU
'Gotta catch 'em all,' Mei Changsu whispers under his breath.
He just needs one more baby!jingyan in order to evolve him into teenage!jingyan, but he just couldn't bring himself to transfer any of the 16 baby!jingyans he has caught already to the professor. Who knows if the professor would be able to look after the Pokemon properly. Baby!jingyan is very particular and needs special attention.
Suddenly, he sees a baby!jingyan hiding behind a pokestop. An adorable tiny bundle wrapped in a deep red blanket. Only the dark eyes and a mob of jet back hair was visible.
With shaking fingers, he taps.
Now baby!jingyan (CP 10) was on his bedside stand.
He throws a poke ball at it.
It flashes once, twice. Baby!jingyan escapes!
He feeds it a hazelnut and changes to a Great Ball.
Baby!jingyan takes the hazelnut but escapes again.
Mei Changsu strokes the screen affectionately. Jingyan can be so stubborn sometimes!
Three hazelnuts later. He makes the catch.
The evolution is beautiful. The sound effects are not bad either. Lights dance as baby!jingyan disappears and in his place, is teenage!jingyan! Teenage!jingyan swirls 360 degrees, his long dark hair flowing behind him.
Mei Changsu bites his knuckles as he screams on the inside.
Finally, finally, he has a teenage!jingyan -
His character is suddenly standing in what looks like the middle of an ocean.
There is no teenage!jingyan in sight.
A loud scream erupts from the Su household.
