Smash Fan Character Ideas

Summary:

Heavily inspired by BrawlFan1's "What If They Were In Smash?" series, here are some character movesets I came up with for Super Smash Bros!

Chapter 1: Jevil

Chapter Text

Jevil Smash Moveset

Jab: He creates a club in front of himself that shoots three sets of three dots in front of himself and in two diagonal directions.

Dash Attack: He turns into a red Devilsknife and charges forward.

Side Tilt: He creates a small wave of spades that travel a small bit away from himself.

Up Tilt: He uses his springy neck to do an elongated headbut.

Down Tilt: He quickly turns into the Devilsknife and slashes at the ground.

Side Smash: He sends out four grouped-up hearts forwards.

Up Smash: He creates many diamonds that erupt from the ground to stab at foes.

Down Smash: He surrounds himself in a circle of spades. Once the button is released, the spades fly out one after the other.

Neutral Aerial: He splits into four small Devilsknifes that come together, then spread out again, spinning as they do.

Forward Aerial: He sends out the wave of spades.

Back Aerial: He throws a diamond behind himself like a throwing knife.

Up Aerial: He extends his neck straight upwards.

Down Aerial: He creates a club directly below himself that shoots projectiles.

 

Grabs

He grabs with one arm and pummels by extending his head into the opponent's face with his neck.

Forward Throw: He creates a club that fires projectiles that knocks the opponent away.

Back Throw: He teleports behind the foe and throws a diamond into their back.

Up Throw: He creates multiple diamonds from the floor that send the opponent into the air.

Down Throw: He creates four hearts that land on the foe from above.

 

Special Attacks

Neutral Special: Chaos, Chaos!

Jevil spins in place, causing one of 9 random effects to occur, with some being stat buffs or nerfs that last for a short amount of time. After doing this, he must wait for 20 seconds before he can use it again.

Effect 1: A random sound plays. Nothing happens.

Effect 2: The foe's defense drops.

Effect 3: Jevil takes more damage.

Effect 4: The foe does less damage.

Effect 5: A bird flies across the screen. Nothing happens.

Effect 6: Jevil is healed for between 25-50% of damage.

Effect 7: Jevil and the opponent’s HP’s are swapped.

Effect 8: Jevil becomes stronger.

Effect 9: Both Jevil and the opponent get healed for between 36-50% of damage.

Side Special: Carousel Game:

Jevil creates a carousel horse that travels across the stage, dealing damage if it hits the opponent. Once it reaches the end of the stage, it goes into the background, before coming back around to do it again. The horse lasts for up to five seconds before disappearing. Up to three horses can be on screen at a time.

Up Special: Mischief, Mischief:

Jevil teleports in a chosen direction. Once he does, he throws a projectile, which is determined by whether or not you hold the button. If you don;t, he throws a diamond at the opponent’s current location. If you do, he throws a group of spades which travel in an arc forward for a good distance before disappearing.

Down Special: Chaos Bomb:

Jevil drops a Chaos Bomb in front of himself. There are four bombs he can summon, each having a 25% chance of appearing.

Club Bomb: Creates three clubs that travel in an arc.

Heart Bomb: Creates four closely bundled hearts that generally head toward where the opponent is.

Diamond Bomb: Creates three diamonds that shoot straight at the opponent.

Spade Bomb: Creates a ring of spades that travel a far distance.

 

Final Smash: The True and Neo Chaos

Jevil baths the arena in darkness before disappearing. Once he does, dozens of Devilsknifes begin dropping from the sky, before a giant Devilsknife appears and crashes into the stage, dealing massive damage to anyone still standing after the initial barrage.

 

Costumes:

Costume 1: His regular attire.

Costume 2: Rudinn themed colors.

Costume 3: Rudinn Ranger colors.

Costume 4: Hathy themed colors.

Costume 5: Head Hathy colors.

Costume 6: Clover themed colors.

Costume 7: Lancer / King themed colors.

Costume 8: Seam themed colors.

 

Stage Intro: He teleports on screen, chuckling, before he assumes his fighting stance.

 

Taunts:

Taunt 1: He laughs maniacally.

Taunt 2: He does the dance from his boss fight. During this he says “I can do anything!”.

Taunt 3: His neck extends and causes his head to bobble, before it returns to normal. During this he says “This body cannot be killed!”.

 

Victory Animations:

First: He dances wildly around the screen, before stopping and posing for the camera.

Second: We see the bars of a prison cell, before Jevil grabs onto them from inside and presses his face against them, grinning.

Third: Jevil takes a bow, then transforms into one of two items depending on the opponent's performance. If they managed to give Jevil a beating, he turns into the Devilsknife. If they didn't get many hits in, he turns into the Jevilstail.
