“Four paws will lead the clans to victory, four paws of Kestrel,Raven,Moon,and Stream will return the clan's glory”,murmured the gathered stary cats. They surrounded a large pool of water. Slowly one by one the cats left leaving four cats gathered around the pool. A golden brown tom stepped forward.”I will send my choice first if you don't mind”,he rasped,” I will choose the receiver of the prophecy for Mist Clan. I choose Grayflame.” He stepped back and this time a thin light gray she-cat stepped forward.”Thank you Adderstar,”she said,”I will choose for Marsh Clan next.” The she cat looked at the other cats then back at the pool before saying,” I, Sagestar of Star Clan, will submit my choice as Hazelwisker.” She to stepped back. And again a different cat took her place. Where the beautiful she-cat had been, was now a shredded looking tom.”I choose Seedsight for Brook Clan”,he mewed then stepped back to let the fourth and final cat come forth. A cream tom took his place.”For Bush Clan I choose…Flamefall ”,he hollered then retook his place among the others.”The Kestrel will fly,the Raven will to,a Moon rising high,and a stream flowing through will return to the clans what once was theirs!” The four Mewed cats in unison.
