Harvey was beautiful. His insecurities. His personality. His voice. Harvey's love. It all made Blue lose his composure, his legs felt like jello with every compliment, every kiss, everything.
She love every drag performance, every song, she adored Harvey completely. He lover watching Harvey perform so when he sat down at a table to watch Harvey perform he was star struck. Every turn, every step. All of it.
Harvey was in the middle of a performance when Blue felt a sense of dread wash over him. He remembered that feeling all to well. Just the same as his sister's accident, just the same as the fire that left him permanently disabled in need of a cane. The car crash that ended her sisters life. She couldn't stand it.
His breath hitched, air caught in his throat. She gazed around, eyes raising to the shaking chandelier above the stage. He barely had any time to react before a terrible screeching hit his ears. She tried to scream or run— anything to help but he suddenly lost all ability to move. All he couldn't do to help.
All she could do was watch. Watch as the chandelier fell— just as he watched the flames engulf his own body, just as he had watched the car lose control and he did nothing about it. With a deafening crash the chandelier hit the stage- engulfing Harvey in flames as people screamed, as did Harvey.
Blue couldn't recall anything after that. Nor did he remembered the sirens of the ambulance. Nor the drive to the hospital It was all too much to handle for Blue.
why didn't you just move. You could have saved him. Harvey wouldn't be in the hospital if you said something his mind was plagued with guilt. Harvey was in a hospital bed. And Blue didnt do anything
Harvey took months to recover—and Blue couldn't bear the guilt.
She couldn't eat.
She couldn't sleep but slept to much.
Couldn't help but tried too hard.
Blue was utterly useless Even when he almost lost her whole world. Even when the man who made his heart short circuit was in a hospital bed.
Harvey would never be the same after that And Blue couldn't stand it.
Oh Harvey. Will you ever relieve me of my sins? I love you. Do you still love me?
