The Eminence In Dorado

Summary:

Reincarnated as the second child of a Baron family, Alistair Kagenou looked after his younger brother, helping him by running his organization alongside him. The difference between them is that he takes what's going on more seriously, and has far greater power than his brother. The power of a Kamen Rider.

Chapter 1: A sacrifice gives birth to a Rider

Chapter Text

One night, an Asian man walked through the corridors of a building. He had messy black hair and eyes of the same color, wearing a brown uniform with a kind of cape over his shoulders and a pair of round glasses.

He stopped walking when he heard someone growl in frustration from the door he was passing.

He gently opened the door to see one of the students from the alchemist academy in one of the classrooms.

It was a Caucasian teenager with brown hair and blue eyes wearing the blue uniform of the academy's students.

He was sitting on a high chair while there were piles of notes, vials, and blank Chemy Cards on the table. Some of the cards appeared to have alterations.

"Ugh, there's no way I'll finish in time." moaned the teenager, running his hands over his face.

"What are you doing, Gaijimist?" Asked the man, startling the teenager.

"Oh, Professor Glion. Please don't call me that." He said, standing up, surprised by the man's sudden arrival and embarrassed by the name he had used to address him, before understanding the question he had asked. "Um, actually, I'm working on a way to get promoted without having to go through a duel."

"Don't you want to go through this to get promoted as quickly as possible? Is it because you think you're above this kind of thing and want to get it over with quickly?" Asked the professor, curious about the student's ambitions.

"Not really. I think it's pointless to promote one alchemist over another based solely on a test of strength." "And besides, I want to be promoted not because I'm powerful, but because I want to innovate. And for that, I need to be free from the academy's system."

"Why is that?" Asked Glion, intrigued.

"Have you ever seen teachers who encourage their students to think outside the box?" Asked the teenager rhetorically. "No, every time they force us to do things their way. And it's frustrating. Where's the innovation and novelty if all we do is regurgitate what's been forced into our heads?"

"Hmm, and what do you want to do to innovate?" Asked Glion, looking at the student's work.

He was surprised to see various notes on the chemies, their composition, the properties of the cards used to capture them, and... the beginnings of a formula for creating copies.

"A way to replicate the Chemy. Where did you get that idea?"

"I thought about it because Chemy are a big part of what makes up alchemy today. We seek to study them, understand them, and understand their power. But what if we could make copies? We could finally leave them alone and find new ways to use alchemy."

The teenager continued to explain his project to Glion, who was talking to him.

He thought Glion was interested in his work and goals and shared his ideals about alchemy.

And finally, a few days later, the event occurred: the attack by Glion and the three Sisters of Darkness on the alchemists' academy. And the teenager was one of the victims.

But while some died in rather horrible conditions, Glion had reserved a rather special punishment for him. A simple projectile that pierced his heart.

He tried to speak despite the shock and the feeling of his body emptying of blood, but he couldn't as Glion leaned over him, his golden Rubik's cube in his hand.

"Thank you for your valuable research. It needs to be refined, but with this I will achieve great things." Smiled Glion. "In gratitude, here is the promotion you desired."

The red arrow-shaped stone on Glion's gold ring lit up and changed the ring on the teenager's finger to the same color and material as the silver and blue gem it had originally been.

It was now gold with a red gemstone.

"Goodbye, Gaijimist... no... Goodbye, Alistair Flamel."

Alistair's vision gradually darkened. Then finally, complete darkness.

At least for a while, there was indeed nothing. Then he woke up, as a baby in the arms of a... teenage girl...

Twenty years later, Alistair's new life suited him perfectly.

He had been reincarnated in another world, identical to his own. He was the child that a teenage girl had had as a result of a relationship with a classmate who did not take responsibility. Fortunately, she had help taking care of him, both from her parents and from Alistair himself, who did his best to be accommodating to her. He didn't want his life to be partly ruined because of a mistake and an irresponsible jerk.

But this world was different from the one his soul came from: the Alchemy Academy and the Chemy did not exist. Well... they existed, but not as he had hoped.

They were elements of a series, Kamen Rider Gotchard. And if everything in the series was true, Glion had indeed stolen his work to further his ambitions.

This infuriated Alistair. He had worked on it to revolutionize alchemy and their relationship with the Chemys. And he turned it into tools of destruction.

But, perhaps out of nostalgia for his former life, he still collected almost all the items in the series. All the drivers, all the units, all the Chemy cards and their Daybreak and Replichemy variants.

He had even set himself a little challenge: to complete the replichemy collection by making all the missing pieces himself. And he succeeded. Now they were displayed in a long showcase along one wall of his house above the game shop he had opened.

As he thought back on his past life, he could see a teenager looking at old displays behind the counter where he was sitting.

Alistair's appearance was no different from his previous life, just a little older. He wore a purple long-sleeved shirt, a black vest with yellow trim, navy blue pants, and white boots with red stripes.

"Hi, Aku. What can I do for you?" Asked the young man.

"Hi, Alistair, how much is this?" Asked Aku, pointing to a display of The Awakening Zoo.

"10,000 yen." Alistair replied, which shocked the teenager.

"What?! But you have others with just as many boosters and they're cheaper!" He said, pointing to a section of the store where the displays he was talking about were located.

"Because these are displays from an old expansion that I'm keeping aside to bring out later when they're worth more. They cost more to collectors." Explained Alistair, amused by the teenager's reaction.

"So what do you do when you only have one box left?" Asked Aku.

"I'm not going to reveal all my techniques to you." Smiled Alistair, picking up the display that Aku had pointed to. "So, are you going to take it?"

"Yeah..." Sighed Aku, taking the money out of his wallet. "Crook."

"Thanks for the compliment." joked Alistair.

Once the display was sold, Alistair went about his day quietly until evening, when he had to close the store. He was happy to finally be able to enjoy his living space in the back of the store and above the shop. There he also had his Yu-Gi-Oh card collection, which included a copy of every card released in their current version. He didn't care how rare they were.

But there was one deck that was close to his heart, which he kept safely in a deck box, next to his video library where he kept various DVD and Blu-ray box sets of various series, such as Fullmetal Alchemist and Kamen Rider Gotchard (the latter just because he enjoyed seeing Glion die).

But fate had decided to disappoint him. While he was tidying up, a car accident in front of the store resulted in a car crashing through the store's bay window, sending it crashing into the wall, with glass debris scattered everywhere. And the last thing he saw was a bright flash caused by two electrical cables coming into contact with a puddle of gasoline near the vehicle.

"Oh shit. Not again..." Was all he said before dying a second time.

When he woke up, Alistair could see a brown ceiling and felt a comforting embrace. As his eyes adjusted to the new light, he could hear voices.

"Look, honey, he's opening his eyes." Said a woman's voice.

"Who's talking...?" He thought.

"Let me see." Said a man's voice.

"Awww, our precious little boy." Said a woman's voice.

"Wait... I'm a baby...?" Thought Alistair as he saw himself in a mirror in the room where he was. "Oh shit, I've been reincarnated in another world again."

He was in the body of a baby with black hair and eyes, alongside what appeared to be his new parents.

His mother was a pretty young woman with silky black hair that fell to her shoulders, with a fringe parted on the right and strands of hair in front of her ears.

As for his father, he had the stature of an old man with a thin mustache, a beard, and hair on the sides, which made Alistair worry about what he would look like as an adult.

He began his new life as the first son and second child of the Kagenou family, Alistair Kagenou.

"Apparently, I'm the first son of a noble family in the countryside, barons, I think." Thought Alistair.

As his parents talked about his name, Alistair turned his head to see a one-year-old child on the bed. She looked like him, but had longer hair.

Ten years had passed since that day. Alistair was now ten years old, and his sister Claire was twelve.

Alistair's main goal had never been to become a Black Knight, even though he had the magic and skills to do so. His goal was to regain his level of alchemy to become a Kamen Rider, one of the same kind as the rider system that Glion had created... he was determined to steal his creation just as he had stolen his research. And use them to ensure that no one else would die because of people like him.

But he had planned much more than that. He knew that people like Glion worked in the shadows to lull the suspicions of those living in the light. So to defeat them, he would go to the same place they did. He would be an Eminence in the Shadows.

When it came to who was the strongest among the Kagenou siblings, Claire seemed to be the strongest and attracted the most attention, while Alistair showed decent strength while waiting to achieve his goal and received average attention so he could better focus on his personal goals.

At dusk in the forest, Alistair slipped out of the house through his bedroom window with his sword and secretly trained by destroying large rocks in the forest near his home.

It had now been 10 years since his reincarnation, and he was now much stronger than he had been in his previous life. He had quickly regained much of his alchemy skills thanks to his training and the books in the manor's library, adapting his knowledge to that of this new world.

"Ah, that should be enough training." He said after finishing his workout. "Now..."

A black substance appeared and changed his outfit to an ebony slime suit, similar to an overcoat with a raised collar. Gold and purple trim adorned a jacket, shirt, pants, and dark high boots. A long hood cast a shadow that concealed the upper half of his face, revealing only his mouth and the glint of light reflecting off a monocle placed over his left eye.

Later, in the abandoned town, Alistair sighed as he eliminated bandits with disconcerting ease.

"I see business is booming." Alistair said.

"How dare you be arrogant with us, you brat!" Shouted a bandit, pulling out a gun. He tried to shoot the boy, but Alistair dodged the bullet by tilting his head to the left. "Wait, did he just...?"

"I told you to give me your loot." Alistair sighed before cutting off a bandit's head with a sword made of solid slime.

"This is my Slime Sword. Cool, huh? Doesn't even need a sheath that takes up space. Thanks for being my test subjects, you vermin." Alistair explained.

The remaining bandits began to flee, only to be struck down from behind with a single sword stroke, the blade of which had changed into a whip as sharp as a razor.

"At least those poor merchants have been avenged. And their goods will be very useful to me in financing my activities without having to dip into the estate's coffers." He said.

He then heard a rumbling coming from the pile of crates, specifically the one covered entirely by a white sheet.

"What is that...?" He wondered as he walked toward the source of the noise before removing the sheet, revealing a pile of flesh as if someone had been boiled down and reconstituted.

"...Okay... That's... pretty disgusting..." Alistair swallowed before forcing himself to take a closer look at what appeared to be the result of difficult digestion.

"You don't look like a slave... Much less a corpse. You're rotting, but you're still alive. So that means... you're infected with possession." Alistair realized.

He then placed a hand on the thing and began to charge it with magical energy, causing it to burst out of the cage and implode. He then guided it into a small, dilapidated but intact house to provide shelter for the thing.

He then spent a month of his free time conducting magical experiments on the creature. And finally, he was able to stabilize the magical overload. But something he didn't expect happened.

The decomposing creature began to return to its original state. Giving way to a young girl with long blond hair, light blue eyes, and large elven ears.

"It's a girl, a pretty elf girl..." Said Alistair, as the otaku in his second life was happy.

When he realized she was waking up, he took off his jacket and placed it on the girl.

She opened her eyes and sat up to see Alistair standing in front of her.

"Hello, young elf. I'm glad to see you're awake." Said Alistair.

The young elf began to look at herself, seeing that she had returned to normal.

"Uh, what?! But that can't happen! I'm..." She said, not believing her eyes.

"Yes, believe me, I'm as surprised as you are. But please calm down, you've just been healed." Said Alistair.

"What do you mean? You did it?"

"Yeah. My name is Alistair Kagenou." Said Alistair, placing a hand on his chest and bowing slightly. "You should avoid overexerting yourself. The curse has just been lifted, and your body needs to rest a little to get used to this form again."

"What curse?"

Alistair then took a deep breath. What he was about to say was only a hypothesis based on his interpretation of the legends of this world and what he had heard about possession.

"It was a curse that was cast on the descendants of the Three Legendary Heroes." Alistair explained, which confused the young girl. "I'm sure you've heard the story. Now that I think about it, you seem familiar. It's as if I've seen you in a book or something..."

He rummaged through the box and pulled out a book.

"There you have it. The fairy tale recorded in these writings about three heroes who defeated the demon Diablos and saved the world. This story is true. According to these tales and legends, just before Diablos was killed, he cast a powerful curse on the three heroes. That's probably why you were reduced to this pile of rotten flesh that we recovered. However, the story of this legendary tale has been rewritten. Now, people who have suffered from the same condition as you are known as ‘the Possessed’." Explained Alistair. "I don't know who is behind the organization responsible for this mess today. But before I go any further. I must warn you that this could put you in danger. It would be best if you rested for a while and..."

"I don't care!" interrupted the young elf.

"Hmmm?"

"Tell me who did this to me! What is this organization?" cried the young elf.

"... All right." Sighed Alistair, starting to rummage through another box at the back of the abandoned house. "I want you to listen to me carefully. When I was younger, I tracked down a group of people I thought were normal bandits, but after some research, I discovered who they really were. They are part of a powerful organization responsible for rewriting history."

He took out a helmet with a red symbol on it.

"They are known as... the Cult of Diablos. Worshipers of the Demon King responsible for the curse placed on you and many others. They have been around for a very long time, so long that they have had a hold on the world for many years, even decades." He explained. "Our mission is to remain in the shadows to put an end to their plans and influence..."

Then Alistair released his magical aura and put on his dark outfit.

"Under this guise, my name is... Dorado."

This pseudonym was yet another jab at Glion, who wanted to create an El Dorado, a paradise covered in gold. So Alister took part of that name and made it the basis of his new reputation. That of the one who would destroy the corruption of this world to make it a true golden paradise, not a world frozen in gold.

"Dorado...?" the young girl repeated.

"The path I walk is not easy, but we must do what must be done. Descendant of heroes... will you join me on this path...?" Dorado said, holding out his hand.

The young elf remained silent before speaking again.

"When I fell ill, or rather when I was struck by this horrible curse, I lost everything. My only future was to waste away like a hideous beast. But you saved me. So, if that is what you wish, I will give you my life and punish the guilty with death." Replied the elf.

"Very well. Please take my hand. From now on, you are the first member of my organization." Said Dorado.

The young elf took his hand as black slime covered his body except for his head, like a symbiote in Marvel comics, forming a combat uniform.

"And that's how I recruited the young elf I saved. And that's how I started getting help with my plans." Thought Dorado.

"We may have to confront powerful government leaders. With many others under their control who don't know the true story." Dorado clarified.

"Then I will show no mercy to anyone who stands in our way." She said with unwavering devotion. "We will have to find the other descendants of the heroes and take them under our protection."

"Of course." Dorado agreed.

"As we expand our organization, we will need to strengthen our base of operations. We will need to raise funds for this purpose." the Elf reflected.

"Yeah, but in moderation..." Dorado said, trying to temper the ambitions of his new subordinate.

" Very well, we will use this abandoned city as our base until we find something more suitable. Fundraising will have to be suspended for the time being. We must train ourselves to be ready for what is to come before searching for other descendants."

Dorado smiled. She was determined, but she did not confuse determination with haste. He liked that very much.

"Perfect. The name of our organization will be: Shadow Garden. As for your name, you will be called Alpha, the first member of Shadow Garden. Now come with me, there is much to do." He said, holding out his hand to her.

The elf now known as Alpha took his hand as they all returned to the barony of Kagenou. But on the way, Alistair found something that shocked him... his old shop. It was there and in perfect condition, as if no one had touched it and a car hadn't smashed through the bay window.

He went inside and looked around the entire place. Everything was exactly as it had been before the accident. But something was different. Something that shouldn't have been there was there: a gold ruby cube and a gold Alchemist Ring with a red gem.

A twisted smile appeared on his face, as his plans could now progress even faster than expected with this equipment.

Three years had passed since Alistair found Alpha and created Shadow Garden. Claire was now 15, while he was 13.

Over the past three years, Alpha had been trained in swordplay and magic by her savior. At the same time, they had managed to learn more about the Cult of Diablos after tracking down squads of followers in different areas. In addition, Alpha and he began searching for the descendants of heroes and other victims of Possession.

Now that they were both 15-year-old nobles, Claire and Alistair were supposed to enroll in the Midgar Academy for Dark Knights in the Royal Capital. Claire was supposed to go... But when the day of her departure finally arrived... Claire was nowhere to be found...

Inside Claire's room, Alistair and Mr. and Mrs. Kagenou were all standing while the maids and butlers began cleaning her room.

"How is this possible?!! Kidnapped Claire in her sleep? This is the work of a professional!" declared Mr. Kagenou, clearly looking for an excuse.

"So there's nothing we can do?" Said Mrs. Kagenou, clearly upset, which her husband noticed. "Is that what you're saying?"

"N-No, that's not what I meant. I was just stating a fact." Stammered Mr. Kagenou.

"I don't want excuses, you baldhead! Take that! And that!" yelled Mrs. Kagenou, starting to hit her husband, creating a huge blast of air.

"I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I’m sorry!"

"Go find our daughter, right now, damn it!" She shouted, hitting him again. "What are you waiting for? Run!"

Alistair left with a maid following him. Since Claire was supposed to be the strongest, she was the priority. Since Alistair was second, that gave him more time than Claire to focus on himself, but if his sister disappeared and was found dead, that wouldn't suit him at all. Both because all the attention would be focused on him and it would give him less leeway to manage his secret activities. And because he cared about his sister, but that seems a bit obvious when you live in a healthy family.

"...Now I know where Claire gets her strength from." Alistair observed. "Anyway, we need you, Beta."

The servant removed her black slime disguise, revealing a beautiful young elf with silver hair and blue eyes wearing a pair of glasses.

"Yes, what do you need, Lord Alistair?" Beta asked.

Beta was Shadow Garden's second recruit and the second person to be cured of her demonic possession. She was also a childhood friend of Alpha's.

"Tell me, where is Alpha?" Alistair asked.

"She is currently searching for clues about Mrs. Claire." Beta replied.

"Wow, she works fast." Alistair commented. "Is our sister still alive?"

"Most likely, yes. The kidnapper belongs to the Cult of Diablos. A high-ranking officer." Beta replied.

"Why did they take her...?" Alistair asked.

"We believe they suspect Ms. Claire is one of the heroes' descendants." Beta replied.

"That makes sense... We need to hurry, then." Said Alistair.

"With all the rumors about Claire's strength, it makes sense that they would take her. And those idiots gave me the perfect excuse to do what I wanted to do, while getting revenge for Claire's kidnapping. How to combine business with pleasure." He thought as they arrived in an office where Beta showed him a map lying on a table.

"Please look at this map. We have determined the location of their hideouts, but we don't know which one is where they are keeping Ms. Claire."

"Hmm…"

Alistair looked at the map carefully and thought about which base, among all the bases listed on the map, when an idea came to mind.

"What if the base is hidden?" He asked.

Beta was about to protest when she had a sudden realization.

"You mean these bases are decoys?" She said before noticing a cluster of clues. "Wait! If we cross-reference this with the texts, it all connects! Dorado, you've found a secret hideout."

Beta began to praise Alistair's analytical skills, while he smiled proudly at Beta. Not pride in himself, but in her. He had provided a hypothesis, and that had given her a clue to discover a hidden lair. He was disappointed that Beta was giving him all the credit when she had done most of the work.

"Beta. Tell the six Shadows that we'll be taking action tonight." Said Alistair, to which Beta nodded and took notes. "However, don't kill any of them. Capture them. They must be unconscious and tied up. Take advantage of any opportunity to do so. You can do it however you want, as long as they remain alive."

"As you wish." Said Beta before leaving, leaving Alistair alone and smiling.

"Glion... it's time for me to return the favor and steal from you in turn, since I don't have the luxury of killing you."

At the secret entrance to the cave where the Cult of Diablos had its hideout, night had fallen, and a soldier could be seen running toward the detention cells, searching for his commander.

He was a middle-aged man in his thirties, with a piercing gaze and a well-built body. He wore aristocratic clothing, and his slicked-back gray hair could be seen as he emerged from the detention cells after interrogating Claire Kagenou. It was Viscount Grease Olba.

"Master Grease!" cried the soldier.

"What do you want?!" Shouted Grease.

"Intruders! We think there are seven of them, appearing out of nowhere, like shadows! Our men are dropping like flies! We are no match for them!" the soldier reported.

"That's impossible! Some of our knights are good enough to be part of the royal guard!" Grease refuted.

When he arrived at the scene, he saw that most of his men were unconscious and securely tied up, with seven girls standing in the center of the room.

"Who are you?!" Grease asked in a tone that sounded more like an order.

"We are known as the Shadow Garden." Alpha replied.

"Our mission and our life is to destroy the Cult of Diablos." Beta continued.

"We already know everything about your cult." continued a black-haired elf known as Gamma.

"And about the resurrection of the demon, Diablos, and the descendants of the heroes." Said a green-haired elf named Epsilon.

"Don't forget the truth about Demon Possession." Alpha concluded.

In response to the young girl's statement, Grease drew his sword.

"Did you just say The Cult of Diablos?! How did you find out?! Where did you hear that name?! How did you discover our secret?!" He demanded.

Grease and Alpha clashed swords while the other six shadows watched the battle. Grease struck Alpha aggressively, who simply blocked or dodged his attacks.

Then, when she made him lose his guard, Alpha struck him in the chest, causing him to take a step back.

"I'm not going to kill you. Dorado ordered us not to kill anyone, only to capture you by any means necessary." Alpha declared.

Alarmed by this new information, Grease reached into his jacket and pulled out a small glass bottle containing red pills.

He was about to take one, but black slime enveloped his hand and the container, breaking all his fingers to retrieve the bottle. As he screamed in pain, Gamma came up behind him and knocked him out with a blow to the back of the head before tying him up.

"Did he really think we were going to let him pull a fast one?" Beta asked as Alpha burned the bottle with one of the torches at the scene. "Lord Dorado was so brilliant to teach us to be wary of what an enemy carries."

At the same time, Dorado was walking through the corridors of the base, a DreaDriver at his waist.

It wasn't like the toy he had displayed in his old house. This was a real DreaDriver that he had designed in his spare time, like the Replichemies he had been able to finalize based on what he remembered from his research and what he had seen in the series.

With three years and a lot of free time, you can work miracles.

He finally found Claire unconscious and freed her before entrusting her to the girls to take her back to her room so he could start his little project.

A little later that night, Grease woke up to find himself back where he had confronted Alpha, surrounded by all his men, who were also tied up, stuck to the walls and ceiling, but still alive. They formed a kind of living tapestry. Meanwhile, he was standing tied to a wooden beam that hadn't been there before.

"You know, I have to thank you for kidnapping Claire. Without that, I would have had to wait much longer to do what I wanted to do. That's why I ordered the girls not to kill you, but to capture you." Said a voice in front of him.

That's when Dorado entered his field of vision and lowered the gag that had been preventing Grease from speaking.

"Dorado, I presume?" Asked Grease.

"Exactly. Before we get to that, I'd like to know why you're working for the cult." He said, standing in front of the base's leader. "Judging by your clothes, you come from a wealthy family, and judging by your age, you're the leader, if I'm not mistaken. So why are you helping them? Did they promise you? Money? Power? Women?"

"No..." Grease sighed, knowing that he had his back against the wall, he didn't risk much by talking to this young boy who seemed to be leading the girls who attacked him. "My daughter... she suffers from possession. The cult promised me that if I remained loyal to them, they would cure her. And when I heard rumors that Claire Kagenou had been cured by her younger brother, and about her combat skills, I decided to capture her so that the cult would have a better chance of curing her."

"I see..." Sighed Dorado, feeling more remorse for what he was about to do to him. "Where is the cult keeping her?"

"According to the latest information I've received, she's in Midgar. Why?" Asked Grease.

"No reason, I'm just curious." Replied Dorado, even though he was lying. With what he was about to do, he couldn't afford to give this man any hope. He mustn't feel any.

"What are you going to do to us?" Asked Grease, eager to know why.

"Look around you, and even beneath you. I'm sure you'll understand." Replied Dorado, spreading his arms wide.

Grease did as he said and was shocked to see what he hadn't noticed before: the floor was marked with a huge circle containing various runes, seals, and symbols covering the entire room.

Dorado knelt down and tapped the edge of the circle with both hands. Immediately after that, the circle came to life, roaring with power as a column of purple light shot up, illuminating the room.

Then everyone in the room began to writhe in pain as their veins lit up with a reddish glow.

Dorado was spared, being outside the circle, but Grease was not. The leader of this cult hideout suffered martyrdom because of this ritual. He and all his soldiers were drained of their blood through every orifice in their faces. The accumulated blood clumped together into a huge sphere that compressed again and again until it formed a small stone, while all the guards and Grease were nothing more than corpses drained of their blood.

The stone fell into Dorado's hand, and he could see that it was a dark red color.

Dorado smiled as he used his black slime, now golden, to conceal the stone in the form of a signet ring that he wore on his left hand, opposite the Alchemist Ring on his right hand.

He then heard something fall and turned to Grease's corpse to see that a medallion had fallen from his neck.

He picked it up and opened the medallion, seeing something that would allow him to repay the debt he now owed. For without this man, he would never have been able to become what he wanted to be so quickly.

He then admired the stone, the result of this ritual, as if by magic. It glowed for a few seconds and turned the golden slime into pure gold.

"So far, everything is going according to plan. Now let's try this..." He said, taking the puzzle cube out of his coat as the stone lit up again.

He then inserted the cube into the compartment on the right side of the DreaDriver, which began to change.

The right card slot was replaced by a Rubik's Cube-shaped rotary knob, and the original handle was replaced by a red cover topped with a golden triangle and set with three red stones that hid the main slot. The rest of the driver turned purple and the strap turned red.

Eldoradriver!

"Glion... You killed me, and you stole my research to turn it into your weapons." Alistair growled as he held up a chemy card similar to the replichemy but red and gold, representing a kind of red, cybernetic prism. The Dark Ether Chemy. "So I'm going to take your creations and turn them into my tools."

The next day, Claire returned injured, and the parents of the Kagenou siblings celebrated her return. By the following night, her wounds had healed, and the next day, she left for the royal capital.

It was a giant metropolis that was incomparable to the area surrounding the manor where Alistair lived. He wanted to go there too, but he would be able to go in two years.

"Dorado." Said Alpha, drawing the attention of the leader of Shadow Garden as they stood with the seven shadows on the roof of the manor.

"It's time, isn't it?" Asked Alistair, having an idea of their intention.

"Yes. It's time for us to part ways, we must leave you now. This is goodbye." Said Alpha.

"Yeah, I know... ... But before you leave, there's something I'd like to ask you. Before you go, I'd like an explanation for this decision. But I also have two missions to entrust to you. They may be more complicated than I imagine, but I know you can do it." Said Alistair, taking out Grease's medallion.
