Chapter Text
"Snowness!" Vista yelled, frustated. She was visibly upset over something. It had turned out that her YouTube channel had been hacked by Snowness. Not a big problem as it seemed to any unsuspecting person, but he had uploaded outdated meme compilations with hate comments. As he yelled at Snowness and chased her down the grassy fields of Dumcelands, he was quite the look. Especially to Bloodball. She has always been too shy to interact with the programmer, despite having nonexistent social anxiety with everyone else.
Bloodball decided to escape this cycle of self pity and started rushing towards the two people whom she trusted the most -- Dandy & Doombucket. "Heya, guys! I need help with something, can you help a poor Damsel in distress out?" Her puppy eyes looked in Dandy's, a little too "cute" to be considered so. He sighed with a chuckle: "What is it?" he asked. "I've liked Vista for a while, butttt I don't know how to approach her!" Her legs trembled as she shook her head in anxiety, the blush across her cheeks making herself look even more red than she already is.
"Out of all people? I never expected that. I thought you liked Pines.. or, Kreek." Doombucket exclaimed, a little shocked, but his voice calm and ragged as usual. "-uh, no offense about that. I was simply surprised." he continued his sentence. Bloodball stopped her on-the-spot pacing and looked at Doombucket, then at Dandy. "Dandy! You were in a relationship before! How'd you get your wife to like you?" Bloodball asked. Dandy's smile shifted upside down as Doombucket gave her "the look". "Oh- that was insensitive, I didn't mean to!"
"It's alright.. actually, yes, I have advice for you." He smiled, scratching his head. "If you want a girl to like you, buy her something cheap, but enough to charm her. Like.. flowers, or chocolate. Or make her a papercraft or anything DIY in general. Many girls say they don't want flowers, but that's not true, trust me." Dandy smirked, chuckling, which made Doom crack a small smile, gentle and caring. "Flowers.. got that. Anything else?" Bloodball asked curiously. "To like someone, you'll need to be veeery patient with them before moving to the more intimate stages - like talking or hanging out one-on-one."
Bloodball jots down some notes like she's in a college lecture class. "I think that's all, really. Just be there for the person you like, and remember - laugh at their jokes." Bloodball's eyes sparkle with determination as she nods in a fast pace like she were a dog that was asked if it wanted treats. "Thanks, guys! I'll go! Wish me luck!"
