sion looks so good today i can almost ignore that he's a filthy league player💜
It's been about a year and a half since he started streaming, and Sion's gotten more comfortable in front of an audience compared to his first stream. Most of his streams are just of him talking, but sometimes games get sprinkled in here and there. Seeing his fans grow from single digits to thousands, filled him with glee and Sion feels glad that he tried it out.
Bantering with his chat is the norm for him. He enjoys teasing them, seeing their reactions, and giggling all the while. His fans like to say he overshares a lot, but he just has a lot to say and opinions to be known.
It's during one of his streams that things start to change.
He wasn't planning to go for as long as he did. Sion thought he'd only be streaming for about three hours, but here he is, approaching the fifth hour with no signs of stopping. His notes left abandoned, Sion fiddled with his pen as he responded to a fan's question.
“Yeah, I've tried it before and I liked it but it's not something I'd eat everyday.”

"I'm starting to feel a bit hungry too,” Sion sighed, “let's talk about something else.” He read his chat while he thought about an interesting topic that they'd enjoy.
“Oh wait, I almost forgot!” Sion says, excited. “I've been watching this new drama, you know, the one about the girl who's parents had…”
And Sion went on like that, not noticing what time it was or the noises from his door until it was too late.
“Hyung?”
“I thought it was so interesting becau- oh...” Sion said in surprise.
Daeyoung came in while I'm still streaming…
“Sorry for barging in, I'll be out of here quick!” Daeyoung said with a slight blush, “I just wanted to drop this off for you…” he said while approaching Sion’s desk.
That's when he noticed what Daeyoung was carrying with him. Sion stared at the logo of his favorite bakery for a few seconds before reaching out for the bag Daeyoung offered him. A smile spread across his face, he peered inside the bag as Daeyoung rambled on.
“I bought it on the way home and was going to give it to you later, but I heard you were hungry when I was watching the stream just now… So I thought, why not just give it to you now?”
He seemed nervous, which Sion can understand. The idea of hundreds of strangers watching his every move made Daeyoung tense up and he had previously refused to appear on Sion's streams, so he's shocked to say the least to see him standing here now.
Sion was pleased to see a slice of strawberry shortcake, a dessert that he'd been craving lately, waiting for him in the bag. “Oh~ thanks, I'll treat you next time,” replied Sion.
At that, Daeyoung perked back up, an imaginary tail wagging behind his back. He smiled back and left after a wave goodbye. Turning back towards his webcam, Sion took out the cake and glanced at his chat.

He raised an eyebrow when he saw the speed in which his chat moved, they were getting more excited than normal. Sion held up the cake slice to the camera so his chat could see and continued as normal.
"Look at what I've got,” Sion said, moving it from side to side, “doesn't it look good?” He put the container back down and read some more chat messages.

Sion thought about it for a total of five seconds before proceeding to be a little evil.
“My roommate? Sure, we can call him that,” he said with a smirk. He took a bite of the cake and was hit with sweet bliss.

“What was I talking about earlier? Oh, the drama, right? So as I was saying…”
Sion ended his stream shortly after and came out of his room to see Daeyoung on their couch, typing on a laptop. He smiled when he saw Sion enter the room.
“Had a good stream?” Daeyoung asked.
Sion came closer and plopped himself right next to his boyfriend, an arm resting on the top of the cushion and legs stretched over the top of Daeyoung's.
“Yeah,” Sion responded, “Thanks for the delivery earlier, what made you change your mind about being on stream?”
Daeyoung just shrugged, “I thought maybe it would feel okay now? Honestly, I tried to focus more on you and it seemed to work.”
Sion gave a pleased hum and reached out with both of his hands to ruffle the younger's hair until it stuck out in weird places, Daeyoung whining all the while. Once satisfied, he curled his arms around his neck, brought his face closer to the others, and gave a quick peck.
“Well, if you want to drop by more often, I'd like that,” said Sion.
“I'll think about it,” Daeyoung replied as he took hold of Sion's waist and leaned in.

Sion had been chilling on his couch, scrolling on Netflix and contemplating his next stream, when it hit him.
It had been a couple days after Daeyoung's first appearance on Sion's stream when Sion had finally decided to check on what his fans were posting. At first, nothing stuck out in particular, but as he continued to scroll, he was taken aback at what he saw.
Various tweets fighting, speculating, and over analyzing his relationship with Daeyoung stared back at him. Some claimed the both of them were “acting sus” while others vehemently denied and said that they were “just roommates” and that Sion “doesn't like men.” He had to laugh at some of the more ridiculous tweets but he couldn't fully blame them.
Sion normally doesn't talk about his own romantic endeavors so not many people would know unless you had gone back to when he first started and watched those streams.
Sion continued to read through tweets and even found some thirsting over Daeyoung.
That's my boyfriend and you guys are supposed to be my fans… Sion thought, a frown on his face. He decided he had enough with social media and started planning his next stream.
One involving Daeyoung of course.
It took a little convincing but Daeyoung agreed to join Sion in on the joke and show up on his stream again. The plan was to play a horror game together so that Daeyoung would be more distracted by the spooky atmosphere instead of any mistakes he thinks he would make.
“Have you ever played this before?” Sion asked. He looked to his side at Daeyoung who looked like a pitiful puppy. Seeing that made Sion want to rough him up more, but he had a stream to start and he didn't want to get banned for indecency.
Daeyoung shook his head, “No, but isn't this one really scary?”
Sion smiled and gave his boyfriend's hand a reassuring squeeze, “Don't worry, you'll be fine!”
With that, Sion went live and greeted his fans who were surprised to see his guest.

“You can probably tell by the screen what game I'm playing, but I've got a special guest keeping me company today! Everyone, this is Daeyoung.” Sion said, gesturing towards the other.
The chat was filled with “hellos” and Daeyoung smiled.
“Hey everyone! I've never played this game before, but hyung asked me to join him, so I didn't want to say no!”
Sion then took over and explained that they were going to take turns being in control of the character.
“Are you ready Daeyoung?”
“As ready as I'll ever be…”
Sion smiled as he pressed start.
Daeyoung screamed as the enemy continued to chase him while Sion laughed maniacally.
“Stop laughing and help me,” whined Daeyoung, “I don't know where to go next!”
Sion leaned on Daeyoung for support as he tried to answer, but he could barely get out the words between giggles. Soon enough, Daeyoung made it to the next destination. He slumped in his seat and let out a sigh when he reached a safe area. Sitting with his head pressed up against Daeyoung's shoulder, Sion reached over and grabbed the controller out of his grasp. His laughter had finally calmed down, so he looked back over and read the supportive messages in the chat.
“Man, your scream was so funny,” said Sion, straightening from his position.
Daeyoung gave a weak attempt at a push against Sion, “You act like you weren't scared when you were in control but you definitely were!” He sat up as well and looked towards Sion.
Sion noticed the way Daeyoung momentarily froze before the younger reached over and moved part of Sion's shirt higher. He had a slight blush on his face and glanced at the chat but he didn't say anything. Sion mentally shrugged, turned back to say goodbye to the fans and ended the stream.
It's only later when Sion is looking at his fan's posts about the stream that he realizes he had a hickey that could just barely be seen.

guys we shouldn't speculate anything about them….
Sion sipped through his straw and looked at Daeyoung walking by his side. They were on their way to meet up with some friends for lunch when he started thinking about his next move. If their friends were to hear about what Sion's been up to lately, they'd surely call him a fool and probably laugh at him a little but they don't know so he's good.
Maybe I should chill out and get it over with already… he thought as they arrived at where they were meeting with Yushi and Riku.
Lunch was a nice change of pace and it felt good to hang out and catch up with his friends. He was definitely feeling drained the whole period of midterms so Sion feels like he can actually afford to relax now that he's around people he cares about.
It's as Riku recounts a story about the time he pierced Yushi's cousin that Sion gets an idea. A simple one but one that'd work all the same.
Much later, when they're back at their apartment, Sion stares at the post he has written up.
It's a picture of Sion with an arm around Daeyoung's neck, both of them laughing.
Sion normally keeps posts like this to an account he has specifically for friends and family, so this would be a first for him on his public streamer account. He takes another moment to just breath and then hits post.

Almost immediately, the post gets hundreds of likes and retweets. He smiles at some of the replies and closes the app.
A ping from their group chat catches his attention and so he opens it up.
Yushi: [attached screenshot of Sion's recent post] I was there too
Some more pings come.
Riku: Hey!!! What about me??
Riku: And I even took the photo for you two…
Riku: (╥ ω ╥)
Sion shakes his head and a smile breaks out as he goes back to his post and adds a reply.

Sion and Daeyoung were in the middle of a QnA stream. He knew eventually the question would come up and he eagerly awaited it. It had been fun so far, but at this point, Sion was done with messing with his fans in this way.
He just really wants to be able to call Daeyoung his boyfriend on stream now okay? Maybe then those guys would stop flirting with him, Sion thinks to himself.
That's another thing.
The more Daeyoung appears on Sion's streams, the more people start falling for his charms.
Even though there's a lot of his fans that think they're dating, there are also those that think they can just flirt with Daeyoung whenever they want and Sion hates it.
He looks back over at Daeyoung as he finishes answering a question about his favorite movie. He definitely looks more comfortable in front of the camera compared to that first time and Sion feels proud of him.
“Ah, I think it's about time we wrap it up,” Sion says after noticing how late it was, “we can take a few more but they'll have to be easy ones!”
Sion doesn't even have to wait for long.
“Am I single? No,” Sion says casually, “I have a boyfriend.”
The chat erupts, filled with messages like: “i knew it!!”, “you like boys?!” and of course, “congratulations!”
Sion doesn't even look to see if anyone even asks before he just goes all out.
“Is Daeyoung single? Also no!”
Sion didn't think his chat could go any faster and yet it is.

He looks back towards Daeyoung and grabs the hand offered to him before turning back towards the camera.
“And yes, we are dating!” Daeyoung adds.
“Thanks for coming by the stream everyone! It was fun to talk with you guys but we've got a dinner to attend to.” Sion ends, they both wave bye as the stream goes offline.
