I was thrilled to be assigned LibraryDragon35's fic within the Big Bang 2: Bang Bigger Event for Bookdun. Reading the fic has genuinely been such a delight (and at times, made me shed a tear or two!). Through many ups and downs, John and Alexia come out the other side, victorious and free to live out the rest of their lives with each other. There aren't many fics that have reignited my love for a fandom such as Halo, and this fic achieved it with the first chapter - I was HOOKED! The artwork was inspired by John's desire to have a new level of free will, but the weight of his programming and younger years of indoctrination has made it challenging for him to fully part ways with the Spartan way of life. Alexia is his reprieve, blessing, and salvation in one. She understands his past, and battles simultaneously with her own.
