Mike was cooking some breakfast for his sister, Abby, and his wife, Vanessa. Mike took a look at Abby and Vanessa's Christmas list. Abby wanted books, and Vanessa wanted games. Mike didn't know why Vanessa liked games, but he didn't mind because Vanessa was awesome. Vanessa walks in, and Mike gives her a soft hug, making sure not to hurt their baby, "Morning, honey," Mike says. How are our little miracles? " Mike puts his hands on Vanessa's tummy. I think I felt our girls kick. She said, Mike chuckled, im sure they are boys, then Abby walked in, Maybe it's both, she said. Abby sat down and waited for her breakfast. It had been 2 years since they defeated Springtrap Mike, and Vanessa got married, Abby started high school, and Mike and Vanessa were expecting twins. Mike gave his girls their breakfast. Abby forked it, slow down, Abby. Mike said We dont want a repeat of that Christmas.
Abby then headed to her room to read and draw while Vanessa relaxed on the couch, eating ice cream, while Mike went Christmas shopping at the game store and bookstore. He arrived at the bookshop first, and he looked and checked the list of the books Abby wanted: the latest Warriors book, the latest Harry Potter book, and this new series called Twilight. He heard about it from Jeremiah, it was about vampires, or something, feels like something Mike's mother would read: his little sister is growing up. Mike just had to accept it as he picked up the books. Something caught Mike's eye: a book called The Lightning Thief. Mike looked at the back, it was about a kid named Percy Jackson as he goes on a quest. Why not, Mike said. Abby loves fantasy. Mike headed to the checkout out paid, and left for the game store.
Mike saw some Xbox games and saw one Vanessa hadn't got, it was about a boy with psychic powers in a summer camp. Mike knows Vanessa loved weird games, so he decided to get it along with the new Call of Duty and Animal Crossing. He headed home, happy that his family would have a good Christmas at home. Mike opened the door, Nessa, he said Can you help me with the bag Vanessa helped him and headed back to the couch and watched Christmas movies. Mike began to wrap the presents. It took him a couple of hours and only a couple of pieces of tape mike put the presents under the tree.
Well, Merry Christmas, Mike, Vanessa said. Mike kissed her, then Vanessa started to smile creepily. Vanessa, you're scaring me, Mike said. What's wrong Vanessa began to break down You wanna know why I play games Vanessa said it all started when I moved out of his house. I picked up a GameCube and Animal Crossing. It was calming, taking care of my town, I called it Nesstopia. I felt happy
Mike hugged his wife How about we just have a lazy day he said. He carried Vanessa to the couch and cuddled her. Vanessa smiled, and they popped in an old recording of Rudolph, Mike's mom had recorded before she died. They fell asleep on the couch.
Christmas Day
Abby woke up early to open her presents. She was happy with Harry Potter and began to read. Abby, there are more presents, Vanessa said. Abby opened the last present it was the lightning thief wow mike thanks she said mike then quitley said you better like it Then Vanessa felt a sharp pain in her tummy mike called 911 and they rushed her to the hospital sorry the nurse said one of your babys died vanessa hugged mike, holding back the tears its ok, Nessa Mike said its ok to cry The nurse said Vanessa needs strict bed rest vanessa agreed mike brought vanessa's ds for her to play the animal crossing game he got her then aunt jane came in the door.
Am I interrupting something she said? Mike just allowed her in despite their history. Abby hugged Aunt Jane. Look how big you've gotten, Aunt Jane said she talked to Mike. She said she wants him to file a restraining order against her, im unfit to be in any of your lives. She said I caused 4 deaths trying to take Abby away from you. Mike just said I forgive you Jane gave Abby some money and left. They smiled
Vanessa was discharged on New Year's, and Mike made her lie in bed until their baby was born. He made sure to make her the best dinners and gave her the best hugs
