Inspection Time

Summary:

While he was doing everyone’s paperwork on the case for yet a second time as the first time wasn’t good enough for his newly returned boss, he reread the times everyone on the team passed their inspections and qualifications as a part of his job. Actually, it was part of Gibbs but had been put on him as he was more up to date on it and Gibbs was too frustrated about it to play with admin over it.
As such he noticed he was the only that had bothered to go through the year’s qualifications, and not even Gibbs was down as having gone through them to come back, nor was Ziva down as qualified to use an agency anything.

Chapter Text

Inspection Time

Tony steamed as he listened to his “team” haze him over having to call all the victim’s former male marks to get information from them. He listened to the jokes about leading double lives and what happened being justified. He listened between the lines when he was told he wasn’t allowed a break to eat or go home till everything was done that they set him up to do.
He listened.

And while he was doing everyone’s paperwork on the case for yet a second time as the first time wasn’t good enough for his newly returned boss, he reread the times everyone on the team passed their inspections and qualifications as a part of his job. Actually, it was part of Gibbs job but had been put on him as he was more up to date on it and Gibbs was too frustrated about it to play with admin over it.
As such he noticed he was the only that had bothered to go through the year’s qualifications, and not even Gibbs was down as having gone through them to come back, nor was Ziva down as qualified to use an agency anything.  As such he started small by having the combination of a representative from HR, Legal, and the Armory come up early the next morning. The moment everyone signed into the systems to check out their carry weapons everyone was supposed to keep maintained and ready to use, and legally to use in this country. Especially those from foreign countries with supposed permission to carry. With the accompanying paperwork on them at all times as was the national law of the land since the prohibition era way back when. The team was going to be surprised by a sudden gun inspection to make sure the weapons were both legal and ready to be used, and if not, why.
The answer had better be good for those who dealt in legalistic matters. From there, they had to prove they had actually passed all their qualifications to be in the field with the resultant paperwork they were always told to keep with them at work. That included both physical health checks and mental as well.

Security would be on hand for everything to help lay down those laws to Gibbs and Ziva having their paperwork on hand to pass go, collect 200 dollars and go into the field again. Especially since time-cards would be looked at for the last two time period he was SSA to make everyone on the team who worked it answer for the times worked…. Or not. And why. Out loud. For the whole bull pen to hear.
If asked, it was all part of the job, as nothing was lining up from the last quarter on paperwork from what was actually showing up. As such, McGee would have to come down to Legal right after, if he survived, to answer why he was listed as SFAC but it wasn’t his signature on any of the paperwork but his SSA instead. Yet he claimed on his own signed paperwork that he knew the job and what it entailed and was doing it enough to get paid extra for. He was to explain why he shouldn’t be going to trial on fraud instead.

He sent off to Cyber, that as part of the end of the quarter he wanted them to examine exactly what each member of the team had been up to on their work computers and have the reports of their actions to Legal, JAG, and him for his reports for the time he was their SSA. At the same time, he pulled up the dates and cases he worked on during that time and sent them to reference them to make sure that was the only thing the team had been working on the work computers on. If not, please put in what exactly they had been working on.

Taking a short catnap, he relaxed as he got his morning coffee from his own stashed bag then brewed it in the break room in his big cup and pouring the rest into Gibbs cup just to be nice for the reaming he was about to get, then sat down to await the fun for the day.
