I sit down near the campfire Thinking to myself as I do I shuffle through my bag and grab out my notebook/diary thing. I also pull out a pen that goes with it. I look around at the men near me In the campsite And smile before opening up to a fresh page and starting to write.

DAY1
23,4,2025 (I think?)
Dear Dairy,
Today was a really weird day. I made the oddest but most interesting new friends! Well I think their going to be my friends… hopefully but any who I am not sure if this is all a dream so I wanted to write this down but also so I can look back at this for proof for my future self. so I know that it wasn’t just a dream or figment of my imagination. I was sitting on my bed drawing and listening to linked universe fanfic. i was draw my linked universe oc stars a female hero.
When my star pendent started to pulse a purple glow when I noticed I sat up my shortish medium length hair bouncing slightly. A red scrunchie holding it in a pony tail with a black bow in it. I put my left hand pinched lightly the necklace in between my pinkie and thumb. With that I was sucked into a portal then i falling.. falling… falling……
When I stopped falling I found myself in a field. I noticed my appearance had changed slightly for starters I had a big fantasy looking book bag with a bunch of stuff in it. my hearing felt stronger and my hair that was normally strawberry blonde with tinges of gold now had a blue streak in it. then I realised my ears were pointed my both of my piercings still there though so that was good.
My clothing was my clothing that you had been wearing before the fall which was good. Just then with my enhanced hearing heard distant voices shit i thought as the voices grew closer. I have to get out of here before they see me they haven’t yet due to the fact they were talking. But by the gods there no where to hide in the open field. Great I mutter as I hear one of the voices say “shhhh…. I think somethings up ahead”
then another whispers loudly “but I thought I checked”.“I did whatever it is was not there before” a deeper voice loud whispers back before another cuts in “you think it’s a monster” “no” another voice introjects. Wait how many of them are there!? I think to myself before whispering oh by the gods im screwed ugh! But I freeze as a commanding voice that reminded me of a teacher i used to know an old strict one I shivered at the thought.
The voice said “get your weapons we need to be prepared for anything there was a portal up ahead so there could be monsters or someone that’s not friendly”.i look around for somewhere to Hide. Somewhere where what i think at this point are boys of different ages maybe? (spoiler alert they are boys)So they don’t find me. but I cant see anywhere to hide. as the voices enter the field I tried to blend into the grass but it…. well…. Did absolutely jack shit in hiding me due to my clothing.
They spot me pointing their swords WAIT! Swords?! My mind screamed before I mutter have I been teleported into a dnd compain!?.
They slowly approach swords pointed at I and i realise the portal was still open behind me. Shit i mutter but as I look closer they seem very familiar. I stand up quickly raising my hands to show that I was no danger. I give a bit of a nervous laugh And so in a sheepish tone. heyyyyy So I know this looks bad but I don’t know what happened just now and I’m knda a bit lost.
So if you’d kind of like listen to me and not stab me If that’s OK Like I don’t really want to have a sword through me right now hehe….. I trail off heart racing. But just then I recognise who they are I must be dreaming because this nerve freaking way this is happening Right. Now it’s the fuckin links from Linked universe!!! And then I slowly realise with dread creeping up my veins. Shit. They probably think I am part of Dark link’s army or a distraction or someone who’s going to step them in the back Great this is gonna be fun. I think to myself smile tightening.
Time step forward You noted a Suspicious but not deadly gleamed to his eyes before he speaks. Hello miss (authors note: or mr if you are a guy that wants to picture them self in this fic) if I may ask what are you doing in this field next to a portal. Shit he’s the one Who sounds like my old teacher… Gosh. I think to myself before opening my mouth to answer. Wel…. i do a hand just to express my words. So you see I kind of Got flung out of it I don’t really know where I am? So yeah. After a little while later of suspicion and stuff occurs like I don’t really want to write all this down (authors note: the character’s and my words).
I They introduced themselves Obviously I already knew what their names were but I wasn’t gonna tell them OK ‘cause that seems a little bit suspicious and I only just convinced them that I’m not a bad guy! But anywho I then told them my name which is (name idk you pick) obviously things I’m the one Who owns this book or journal or whatever this thing is at this point I don’t know. But regardless so I talk to them but they realise I don’t really have anywhere to go So they offer for me to stay at camp with them. And my gosh when I was like hell yeah Because like it the LU boys why wouldn’t i. my gods my friends would be so jealous.
Hehe suck that (friend’s name) I got to meet them and you didn’t just kidding. I think your awesome because you are my one Of my best friends. But like Oh my gosh I got to meet them legitimate. I am gay as fuck and I still think theirs hot and badass. But like yeah im sitting in their camp right know as I write! Though legend is still thinks you suspicious as fuck And they’re keeping a Close eye on me.
I am absolutely adoring this I think this is the coolest thing ever. Right. NOW sky Is would carving next to me four his reading a book. Wild is cooking dinner time and warriors are sharpening their swords. Wind is telling a story about pirates and legends and mystery Which honestly Get it! legend is glaring at me like I personally shit in his boots lol. I will shuffling through his bag looking for supplies and making sure he has everything And twilight. well I just noticed Not here wait never mind He is sitting near the fire staring at me creepily like a wolf though that’s not surprising seeing he’s Wolfie. But it’s still creepy.
Eh It’s probably nothing. But anyways this is the end of my writing for today I’ll try to get tomorrow if anything happens and I’ll explain to my diary how like dinner was I guess lol. Oh but one last thing I really fuckin hope they don’t try and read this when im sleeping… that would be bad but anywho.

With a sigh I close the book and look around once more at my companions This was a dream come true if it was not a dream. This was one Of the coolest things I have ever experienced. Grateful that I was allowed to have this opportunity. Despite legend constantly being suspicious That’s fair enough honestly mates gone through enough at this point so I don’t blame him. Sky looks up from his wood carving Noticing my change mood and asks.
“Hey (name) are you ok? you seem sad” I smile at him so it is forced “Yeah nah I’m fine” with that wild calls out to the group “dinner time!” I smirk to myself and Think maybe everything will turn up fine in the end And I won’t get stabbed on this mission.
