Chapter Text
“Wow, you’re a real piece of shit.”
Parker slowly turned back around, staring at Ezekiel with an amused look on his face. He could laugh at Ezekiel trying to act all big and strong.
“What?” He said as he leaned his head forward a bit, raising an eyebrow.
“You got something to say? Speak!” Parker exclaimed to Ezekiel as he walked back toward the 36 year old man in the chair.
“Do you know how silly you look?” Ezekiel sneered out as he glared up at Parker walking back over to him. Parker had this look in his eyes that Zeke wasn’t a fan of.
“You’ve got all this power and you’re doing what?” Ezekiel continued on, quietly, with a slight laugh and a grin. He had the chance to speak, so he took it.
Parker slowly walked right up to Ezekiel, hovering above him as he kept talking, staring down at him.
“Holding me hostage and playing dress up in Dad’s house?” Ezekiel taunted Parker.
Parker just kept quiet, staring directly into Ezekiel’s eyes with……need? Anger? Sadness?
Who knows with him.
Parker leaned forward and got inches away from Ezekiel’s face, putting a hand on the back of the chair to stay stable.
Ezekiel shook his head, staring back at Parker, not phased by him trying to be intimidating. “You don’t belong here, and everyone’s gonna know that.” He said while letting out some heavy breaths with a small proud smirk on his lips. He wasn’t scared of Parker anymore. He felt free after those words left his mouth.
Parker looked at the floor for a bit, then looked back at Ezekiel, holding up his pointer finger, shaking it a bit, and then placing it on Ezekiel’s forehead; making Ezekiel sneer his top lip a bit and giving Parker a weird look.
There was a long pause for a moment before Parker finally broke the silence.
“You’re absolutely right.”
Ezekiel was heavily confused by this. He wasn’t expecting Parker to act so calm and confident after Ezekiel went on that whole spiel about him. “…..What?” He managed to mutter out to the red hooded man.
“I shouldn’t be here.” Parker spoke calmly, his pointer finger still on Ezekiel’s forehead.
It went quiet until Parker finally stood up and took his pointer finger off. He looked so calm and relaxed now. How could this man be so collected?? After everything?
The deranged man in a cape messed with Ezekiel’s head.
Parker stepped away as he mumbled out: “c’mon.” to Ezekiel.
Ezekiel narrowed his eyes at Parker’s command. “I’m not going anywhere with-“ He started before the expensive mechanics wired in his body interrupted him; forcing him to tag along. Ezekiel frowned as Parker started walking around his new mansion he stole from his dead-beat father. Zeke didn’t even know the man that ran out was his father. He just thought that guy got spared by Parker or somehow snuck out; although now thinking about it, if he was a threat to Parker, Ezekiel would’ve attacked him.
They continued walking in silence. Ezekiel was bored and sick of being around Parker. He just wanted to go home and move like he was before Parker kidnapped him.
“do you even know where you’re going?” Ezekiel asked, clearly annoyed by Parker just existing near him…and also taking over the controls. Parker looked like he was just walking around mindlessly, not knowing where to go..
But Parker grew up in this house. He knew where he was going.
“Zeke,” Parker chuckled out, stopping in his tracks as soon as he walked into a room “I know where I’m heading.” he said before looking around the room with just his head and eyes. Ezekiel managed to peek his head in and saw the master bedroom. It was filled with filthy, disgusting rich items in it. Of course it was, it was a mansion; Parker's father’s mansion to be specific.
“Wow,” Parker whispered out gently as he walked fully into the room. Ezekiel slowly followed behind, slightly interested in the room.
“god, he’s been living in such shit.” Parker laughed gently as he ran his hand along the bed-frame. Ezekiel had to agree, since he had lived like this his whole life, this was just a normal room to him.. but this room was just filled with unnecessary items and furniture.
Parker looked all around and pressed his lips together into a thin line. He got bored of this room quickly. He sighed while walking out.
“Come on, I have one more room to look at.” He commanded. He just needed to see if it changed at all.
“like I even have a choice.” Ezekiel grumbled to himself as the mechanics inside him whirled and made a noise when he moved. His eyes wandered all along the walls as they walked through the hallway; admiring the artwork. There were so many different variations of art pieces everywhere. Ezekiel got a glance at a photo with 3 people in it. He assumed it was 2 parents and a kid since the one in front was a lot shorter and looked younger.
They walked into the living room. It was bigger than all of the other rooms, which was weird to Ezekiel. Who would want a large living room? What could you possibly do with that much space?
Well, apparently a lot since the whole thing had something in it. Good god, this man was awful with money. Ezekiel could name thousands of things he could’ve bought with all the money this man spent on idiotic items.
Parker let out a small, quiet “huh” as he looked at all the meretricious items; admiring it in a way. It wasn’t much different from the last time he saw it.
Parker started to turn like he was going to show someone an item, but paused and went back to standing straight. He stared down at the object and then placed it back down where it was before.
“John would’ve loved this.” Parker breathed out as he picked up a different item that Ezekiel couldn’t see since Parker’s back was turned towards him.
Who’s John? That name has never been brought up before. By the way Parker was looking, Ezekiel assumed it wasn’t his place to ask. Must’ve been someone important to Parker if he looked that upset over it.
Ezekiel stood there awkwardly. He kind of already got so used to being controlled by Parker that he forgot that he can do stuff by himself sometimes.
Parker finally just scowled and turned to leave the room, mumbling a small “come on” as he walked out the doorframe. The wiring in Ezekiel made a noise before he finally, unwillingly, followed behind Parker.
