You Would’ve Done The Same

Summary:

Vera didn’t do anything wrong when she talked to The Eldress. Did she?

Notes:

Short little one-shot because I'm bored.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Vera had overhead Nova talking to Ray about the Bloodfruit. Victor was so naive believing a Daywalker. Sure, Nova had seemed as though she wasn't going to steal the Bloodfruit, but the vampires couldn't take chances, could they?

She’d debated telling Victor but Nova had him wrapped around her finger. Vargas was, well, Vargas. And she couldn't exactly approach Nova and Ray. Addison and Zed were too optimistic about their genius plan”.

Eliza and Willa might believe her but then again they might also be too far gone into the whole “we’re all friends here” thing. So she called the only person she could think of: The Eldress.

What was she supposed to do? Don't say you wouldn't have done the exact same thing in her position. You would have done exactly what she did. Right?

Notes:

Well, hope you all are doing well.
