POV; Lysandra

Summary:

This takes part in my fake scenario world, which is a mashup of a lot of medias that I like, in which I have incerted a lot of ocs. This fic centers around Lysandra, who is considered to be a dimension traveler but she's fully unrestrained by realty, so she can basically do whatever she wants.

She's also Mori's daughter but I haven't gotten to that as of now. During the first chapter, he thinks she's at school.

Notes:

I hope I can actually make this into a decently long fic. Seeing chapter one 668 words is really underwhealming.

Work Text:

The sounds of people talking as they walked in and out of stores set the mood--light hearted, casual. There was nothing particularly exciting about the mall in that specific day other than it being a little more busy than usual, but that was to be expected, it was the weekend.

The noise became particularly annoying whenever you had to take a phone call. A teenager hurried towards the only silent place she could get to before her phone stopped ringing--the parking lot.

She answered the phone just as the other person hung up. "Shit." She hissed, feeling a wave of annoyance wash over her as she stared at the screen.

Great. Just great. It wasn't like it even mattered who called, but she had principles! She didn't want to have her phone records calling that...thing! But it never mattered-- the earth shook, almost making her lose her balance signalizing that she was too late.

"Oh come on..."

...

It was quiet in the office for once in a lifetime. All the pests had hurried away to fret about their own insignificant sorrows, which left the one assistant of Death--Roccia to do her work in peace. There was a lot of admission paperwork from the hospital district regarding all the recent human deaths, and yet it still managed to be lighter work than the hell she endured while working on the paperwork left by Shinigami deaths. These humanoid creatures were always easier, however logically Shinigami were the one exception--they died little, letting out a big burst of reshi into the environment. The powercreep one Shinigami death could bring was not something Roccia wanted to think of.

Of course, the peace never lasted long. There was a soft thud, as a stack of papers was put in front of the unfortunate soul.

"Lysandra ... What is that." She said, to which the teenager smiled.

"I don't like being injured! Or being in pain."

Roccia just stared at her blankly. "Go take a painkiller." It was fine--she didn't need to deal with this creature, as she brought the paperwork, however it seemed like she wasn't even letting her touch that, untill the human was thoroughly humored.

"You know how common earthquakes are in Japan. I was bound to eventually get a building collapse onto me, but I didn't plan it to be during an earthquake I knew would happen!" Lysandra started her rant, slapping the worker's hand away from the paperwork, "I swear, it was just a slight miscalculation-- there was this phone call I needed to make--"

"Please. Just get to the point."

"Rude." Lysandra slammed her hand down on the desk. "...Okay. I need to go an hour into the past so I can go and leave the mall quicker, so I won't have a building collapse onto me," she said with an innocent smile, "I even did the paperwork for it and I'm giving it to you now, like a good dimension traveler!!"

Roccia was finally allowed to see the paperwork and... "This isn't an application to go into the past to change it-- this is the contract I asked Xilo to bring to me."

Lysandra titled her head like an idiot. "Oh I was supposed to make an application? Wellllll--" She trailed off, emphasizing the 'L'.

"Look, you can't just do anything you want--" Yes she could. She was both alive and got around reality's restrictions--she was untouchable, for now. Roccia felt defeat wash over her...at least the teenager had brought her the contract... "I'll put it on record that you went to change, you go ahead--"

However, the girl interrupted her. "No you won't. You'll give me Elyria's timewatch, as she's clearly not using it anytime soon."

"I can't just give you somebody else's timewatch."

"Chill, I need it for--"

"There's really no need to tell me that."

"Are you going to give it to me?"

Roccia got a piece of paper, copying something from her pc over to it. "Go get it yourself. I won't put it on record, but I will tell--"

Lysandra had already walked away with said piece of paper. Of course.
