Yixuan: “And with this seal, I bestow upon you the ability to Tread Hollows, now with your Ether Aptitude as high as us, you’ll find no trouble venturing into the unknown and uncovering the truth.”
She said proudly as she placed a seal on Belle’s chest, who looked at it with sparkling eyes.
Yixuan: “Is there anything you would like to say? Junior Belle?”
Belle: “This is Worthless.”
“I’m sorry?” Yixuan expressed confusion.
Belle: “Tread the Hollows? We can already do that with the HDD.”
Yixuan: “But your help is valuable.”
Belle: “Hello! This is The Fucking Hollows! Not some Park or Playground!”
Yixuan: “Aren’t you excited though?”
Belle: “Yeah, no. I’m sorry Shifu, but this doesn’t make sense.”
Yixuan: “The Mayor said it would be beneficial for you to tread the Hollows, especially learning how to Dismantle Misama.”
Belle: “Yeah, sure. Learning Space Magic is fun and all, but THESE ARE THE HOLLOWS!! I can enter it just fine with Eous.”
Yixuan: “But Eous alone can’t remove Misama.”
Belle: “Neither Can I!”
Yixuan: “Yes you can.”
Belle: “And why does it matter??? If I go in there, I’ll die!”
Yixuan: “We will be here to Protect You.”
Belle: “And you can Remove the Miasma Yourselves!”
“That’s Not Important.” Yixuan Deflected.
“You’re the Shifu! What do you need me for?” Belle pressed.
Yixuan: “To Navigate the Hollows.”
Belle: “We can use Eous and the HDD for that!”
Yixuan: “But the Miasma, what if I wasn’t there with you?”
Belle: “Then Why Should I Go to Begin with?!”
Yixuan: “What if Others would go?”
Belle: “We have a Whole Temple of People Trained to fend off Space Magic! Why not send them while I go in as Eous?”
“I..” Yixuan raised her finger, “Actually that’s a good point.” She put her finger under her chin.
Belle: “Shifu with all due respect, I don’t see this beneficial in any way shape or form, if anything, it’s Detrimental.”
Yixuan raised her eyebrow.
Belle: “I’m not exactly well built for exercise, we can use any other Disciple to deal with Space Magic, and I can help from the comfort of my home.”
Yixuan: “But staying cooped up is very unhealthy.”
Belle: “It! Makes! Sense!”
Yixuan squinted.
Belle: “There is no reason ever that will make me go into the Hollows under any circumstances.”
“Will these do?” Yi Xuan pulled a bag of Polychromes and shook it in front of Belle.
Reflected in Belle’s Eyes, Belle got down on her knees and barked: “Yes yes! Gimme gimme! I’ll be a Good Girl!”
Yixuan: “After the commission.”
Belle: “Yes mommy!”
When Belle left to join the others, Yixuan pulled her phone and called the first number on it.
“It’s done.” She said with straight face.
“Good...Well done, Grand Master.” The Mayor’s voice echoed from the phone, making Yixuan draw a smile on her face.
