2 years have passed since the "final" battle... The Demon Slayer Corps has lost the all-out war, losing numerous brave slayers in the battlefield. Half of the Corps' strongest fighters have either gone missing and is stuck in the Infinity Castle, or have fallen in battle. The leader of the Demon Slayer Corps is now the remaining Hashira. The original successor, Kiriya Ubuyashiki and his younger sisters, Kuina and Kanata, decided to help in the Butterfly Estate since the remaining Hashira were worried and refused to let children as young as them to run a whole organization in a such a devastated state. The surviving members were, Tanjiro Kamado(greatly injured), Nezuko Kamado(busy training), Zenitsu Agatsuma(became a pillar), Kanao Tsuyuri(became a pillar), Inosuke Hashibira(missing, but is proven to be alive), Mitsuri Kanroji, Obanai Iguro, Giyuu Tomioka, Tengen Uzui, Shinjuro Rengoku, and Sakonji Urokodaki. The Mist Pillar, Muichiro Tokito's corpse was never discovered at all. For now the Hashira decided to put him on the missing list.
Mitsuri Kanroji: Love Pillar
•21 years old
•After the war, she fell into despair at the number of comrades she'd lost. Even refusing to talk to anyone for months. The Serpent Pillar, Obanai, helped her through her state and she once more became determined to fight again. She often visits the current Flower Pillar, Kanao Tsuyuri, to help her with matters in the Butterfly Estate. She and Kanao have grown a very strong bond for the past 2 years.
•Became very serious, though, still very friendly and approachable.
Obanai Iguro: Serpent Pillar
•23 years old
•After the war, he'd been the first to recover physically. Above all the Hashira, he was the one who refused the most fiercely when he had heard that Kiriya will continue to lead.
•Still the same overall, but he is more agitated than before.
Giyuu Tomioka: Water Pillar
•23 years old
•After the war, his mental state declined greatly. He refused to exit his estate and barely ate food or drank water, severely weakening him. It lasted for 6 months until the Rumble Pillar, Zenitsu Agatsuma, helped him through his state just as Iguro did for Mitsuri. He blames himself for Tanjiro's current state, thinking he was too weak and slow to protect him.
•Above every Hashira, he definitely had the greatest change in personality. He became easy to anger, more snappy, and less patient. Almost a reflection of the former Wind Pillar, Sanemi Shinazugawa (Iguro's words).
Tengen Uzui: Sound Pillar
•25 years old
•He was supposed to be retired, but after the war, he returned to his position to aid his remaining comrades. He would always try to lighten up the mood, keeping a smile on his face and putting on a sense of confidence to strengthen his comrades. Always forcing himself to be like the late Flame Pillar, Kyojuro Rengoku. He often blames himself for their loss in the war, saying that if he hadn't retired, maybe they would've had more help and a greater chance.
•The leader of the Corps is now the remaining Hashira, but majority of the workload was definitely put on him and the Water Pillar, Giyuu Tomioka. While Giyuu works on the planning and strategies, Tengen works on strengthening the resolve of the Corps. Iguro and Zenitsu work on training the lower ranking slayers to their limits, while Kanao and Mitsuri work on the medical matters along with Yushiro.
Zenitsu Agatsuma: Rumble Pillar
•18 years old
•He used to be a crybaby. But the aftermath of the war obviously affected him aswell, his friends... Tanjiro has been in a coma ever since the war, Nezuko has been training for 2 years to fight alongside them, Inosuke was abducted by the Upper Rank 2 in the war according to Kanao's reports, Kanao herself has been to occupied with her own work, and Genya had been killed by the Upper Rank 1. But he thought of his Gramps and resolved to be more stronger and mature.
•He'd change quite a lot. He never whined about being scared ever again, he never faltered or hesitated, and he trained himself for the past 2 years to reach the level of a Hashira. According to Iguro himself, Zenitsu may have reached a level of overall strength somewhere near Mitsuri's.
Kanao Tsuyuri: Flower Pillar
•18 years old
•After the war, she and her sisters mourned the death of the former Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho. Kanao became determined to continue Shinobu's revenge, though, she did it in a more healthy way. She told only her sisters of Shinobu's plan because they atleast deserved to know what became of her. She dedicated herself to studying all of the documents written by Shinobu and the late Flower Hashira, Kanae Kocho. Because of that, she'd learned to replicate an even deadlier version of Shinobu's wisteria poison which was already deadly enough. She also gave out poison to every member of the Corps to make sure they have a greater chance of winning in battle.
•She's had a growth spurt, she'd be Giyuu's height if she gained a few more inches. She hasn't really changed much.
