They walked into the room together and sat down at the same table, the tension high between them as their mutual friend and overall dumbass sat next to them, watching.
Finally, a word was spoken from both of them.
Quin + Pen: "I want a divorce."
The awkward silence was deep in the air between them especially since Mike, ever the asshole, was whispering awkward silence.
Quin: "I just can't have someone like you, a..spoon lover..ugh"
Quin says, gagging at the word.
Pen: "You never liked me for being a spoon lover because you could never see past your stupid forks!!" Pen lashed in response as Mike prepared the divorce papers.
Not one of them dares to say another word, the tension way too high for some stupid fanfic.
Mike: "Alright I got the papers if you could just sign here...Alright and that will be 50,000-"
They both sign aggressively and slam their pens down. Quin stands up and walks off before Pen then does the same.
Mike, still waiting for the money, sees them walk off and blinks a few times.
Mike: "You forgot to pay..."
