The sun slowly began to rise and pierce through the darkness of the night the moon brought with it. A warm light began to shine through the curtains of Mannequin_Mark and Lampert's establishment. Well, for the most part Mark owned it first. Lampert, his boyfriend that he has had for a while now, had recently just moved in with him regarding concerns of raising rent for his previous apartment. Considering his belongings amount and how big the space was, it didn't take long for the process of moving places to finish early. Today, the two had gotten up about just around the same time as the other.
"G'mornin sweetheartttt~ ♪", Mark said, yawning.
"Morning to you too", Lampert said, looking at him for a while. The two sat around in their bed for the time being.
"Do you have anything going on today? Anything you wanna do with me?", Lampert asked.
"Oh no, nothin' right now, I'll prolly have somethin' thought of later we could do together", Mark replied.
"Well...", Lampert began to ask. What he was about to say would come off as embarrassing if he didn't word it correctly.
"Would you be alright with showering together? I don't think we've ever done it together, so I don't know if you'd be fine with it. Not in a sexual way obviously."
"Absolutely! I'on't see a problem w' it", Mark answered. He took the sheets off of him, and began to walk with Lampert over to the shower. They took off their nightwear, hopped into the shower within opening the curtain, and ran the hot water. Lampert noticed Mark's top scars.
"Oh, you're trans?", Lampert asked.
"Yup!!", Mark answered.
"Does the water ever like... sting the area around your scars or... I don't know I've never had top surgery, or any surgery done on me matter of fact so I just wanna know what it feels like from someone who has."
"Oh no no no, it's alright!! And to answer yer' question it don't hurt at all", Mark exclaimed. The two spent their time in the shower together before turning off the water, drying off, and getting dressed for the day.
"Why are you wearing a short sleeve in December?", Lampert asked.
"Cuz it's sunny out, of course I'm gon' be wearin' a tee", Mark replied.
"Sun doesn't necessarily mean warmth, I checked the temp for today and it said it was gonna be a high of 60, so I suggest changing into warmer wear."
"OH right yeah I can do that!!"
Mark switched out his t-shirt for a long sleeve cozy sweater.
"Hey look, we kinda match", Mark pointed out smiling.
"Oh, I can see it", Lampert said, cracking a slight smile as well. It almost felt like it wasn't a coincidence that they bought similar looking sweaters from the same tailor.
"So is there anything you wanted to do today?", Lampert asked again.
"Errr, mayhaps we could go on a walk for a lil', and maybe head downtown 's well", Mark answered, coming up with something quick for them to do to keep them occupied for the day. Lampert agreed to it, put on footwear, and was ready to step outside with Mark. The two stepped out of the front door and started the route around the neighborhood.
"So, how's construction been for you lately?", Lampert asked.
"Oh, 's been good!! No big projects as of late so Imma be at home w' you until somethin' comes up", Mark answered.
"How long was th' movin' process?", he asked back.
"Not very long. I didn't have to pack much, so it took like a week to get everything in boxes and moved up to here", Lampert said, providing an answer. Soon after their walk was finished, they coordinated a time to go downtown, and spent just about the rest of their day down there.
