Chapter Text
The Land of Normalus started in nothing, no darkness or light, then suddenly a black dot appeared. The static dot stared at the nothingness around and quickly got bored, so with a sudden pop, the dot formed both concepts of Light and Darkness. The 2 forces immediately clashed, with a raw hatred for the other. This first Clash created our home Normalus, as well as beings that humans would eventually call gods. Among these gods, one stood above the rest. Their name was Deus (pronounced day us). He would go on to gain the domain: God of all God’s. Using that Domain, he created several gods who influenced the mortals. All the gods had ranks, which started with Demi-gods and went to Otteku. Otteku was composed of the eight strongest gods and Deus himself. They all lived in Prcorleo, a castle in Calem, the work and living space of the gods, where they manage humanity. The 8 gods are Ignis, the Proud God of Fire, the Serene Water Goddess Aqua, Terra, the Tender God of Earth, Cerebrum, the Astute God of Knowledge, Lux, the Childish God of Day, and Luna, the Somnolent Goddess of Night. This is the story of a new god joining their ranks. Snow white hair that shines like a full moon on a starry night. Dull blue eyes, empty as the vast sea. Soft ivory skin. All traits that describe Luna, the goddess of the moon. She’s considered the most graceful god in Calem. Yet she’s a chronic overworker, especially during the night, which causes her to be incredibly tired during the day. Though normally that doesn't matter. However, today Deus had called, and much to her dismay, it was during midday. She woke up in a darkened room. A room with a singular window covered by Midnight blue curtains, matching wallpaper, and nothing but a dim fluorescent light to brighten the room. She slowly rose from her bed, with unkempt hair, and wearing nothing but sleepwear. With her aloof yet tired expression, she slowly stood up, and with a snap of her fingers, her unruly hair was immediately tamed, her sleepwear was transformed into an elegant black and white silk dress that fell to her ankles, and her fluffy black slippers were replaced with sleek black flats. She then walked out of her room, immediately getting flashed by sunlight from the massive window lining the castle. Now, even more annoyed, she made her way to the meeting room, adjusting to the clear skies and bright sun. “Prcorleo has always had a confusing layout.” She thought as she wandered the halls, though half awake. Eventually, she made her way to the meeting room, though before she entered, she took a deep breath. “I hope today won’t be as annoying,” She thought, though of course she knew it would probably be even more so than yesterday. Entering the room, she immediately saw 3 other gods sitting at the meeting table, talking among themselves. “Listen, as I said, I’m the strongest god,” The pompous one with red hair shouted. A female god with long curly blue hair just sighed and rolled her eyes, which fell on Luna. She gave Luna a soft smile before saying, “Good morning, sister Luna.” Luna simply gave her a tired smile. Upon mentioning her arrival, the other 2 looked over, and the pompous god said with a smug tone, “Ah, the lethargic Goddess of Night finally graces us with her presence. " A tanned, burly god responded in a friendly tone, “Come on, Ignis, don’t be so harsh, you know how hard Luna works.” Ignis ran a hand through his curly hair before saying,” That hardly matters when she's asleep all day, Terra.” Ignoring both of them, Luna sat at the table and stared off into space while the 3 were talking. “So why do you think Deus called this meeting?” Terra asked. Aqua carefully responded, “It has to be something important since he summoned all of us.” Luna then spoke up with a slightly annoyed tone, “Who else are we waiting on… I’m already getting tired.” Ignis scoffed and responded with a mocking tone, “Oh, poor Goddess of Night, did we interrupt your beauty sleep? Do you and your poor incarnations need a nap?” Luna quickly snapped back, “At least I have incarnations.” Ignis froze
