His eye twitched. A pair of brilliant blues narrowed into a glare so scorching the wall in front flinched. “Oh?” Ai leaned forward, peering at her son. Aqua immediately smoothed over his expression, blinking in cute innocence. Of course, that voice in his head refused to shut up—
Damn. That’s actually kinda pathetic, it hummed, vaguely feminine, completely unwelcome.
He pretended nothing was wrong, that he wasn’t potentially schizophrenic, that he wasn’t hallucin–
Oi! I’m real! the voice protested.
“Blurp!” his sister cooed, making grabby hands at their mother. Aqua eagerly turned his attention over, squinting like sheer will alone would be enough to right all wrongs.
Stop ignoring me! I swear, I must have done something wrong in my past life to get stuck with a pedo mental roommate!
“Goo~!” Aqua beamed, copying his sister. He pushed away the shudder of revulsion that ran down his spine, an emotion that didn’t belong to him.
Boohoo! Pedo alert! Pedo alert! PEDO ALERT!
His grin faltered. It slid off, a brief, brief, slip in composure. A muscle spasmed, a vein ticked.
PEDO!
Aqua recoiled, blinking in confusion. Ai leaned close, far too close into his personal space, fussing over him. Ruby whined, pounding tiny fists against the floor in grievance. She glared at him, displeasure evident in her pink-ruby eyes.
Aqua sighed.
Great. His sister was a spoiled brat. But at least she was way more tolerable than the bugger that had made his head her home.
Pedo, pedo, peeedo~ pedo, pedo, peeedo~
He wouldn’t actually be spending the rest of his life like this… right?!
Right?!
Pedo~!
