For a first home, it was fancy. But then four rich young adults were moving in to it. Admittedly three of those rich young adults had all recently lost access to their family fortunes, but it certainly hadn't stopped them from having expensive taste. They'd purchased the house before they'd lost access regardless.
James was a little in awe of it. The house, the fact it was his, the fact that he and his three boyfriends were moving in to it.
The whole thing. It was all to be held and cherished.
It was amazing they'd gotten as far as they had. James was going to cherish ever moment of it.
The house wasn't really the sort of house you'd consider anyone's first house. There were three bedrooms, an art studio for Evan, an office for Regulus, a large kitchen suited to James, and a gym area for Barty. They had a large garden too, and all the normal house amenities.
It was the sort of house they felt happy to call home. Though it needed some re-decorating. They'd purchased most of the things they'd need. Moving in was more complicated than any of them had imagined.
Regulus held the key to the front door out as they stood together in front of their new home.
"To new beginnings," he said.
"Clink clink," Barty said, imitating wine glasses clinking together.
"To new beginnings," Evan echoed as James laughed slightly.
