Azure was holding Two Time against his shoulder. They had a blanket over them with a cup of hot chocolate. The room was decorated and the night sky was dark, fragile snowflakes falling down. Azure tilts his head down to look at them, silently talking as the fire in the fire place crackled in the background:
"It's almost time, just a few minutes left."
Two Time looks up at them, their gaze meeting up with his. They adjust themselves, facing him directly now.
"It is almost time, my dearest."
The silence after the sentence lingered for a moment before Azure speaks up again, in the same soft tone:
"I'm really glad we're together on this day. I'm glad we're spending this important night together..."
The corner of Two Times mouth pull up ever so slightly. They cup his face with their hands, holding their face close to their own.
"I'm also very happy we're with each other at this moment. You were the highlight of my year, and I hope you will be my shine forever; brighten my heart at days that are dark, bring warmth when I most need it..."
Azure cuts them off before they can go on rambling even more. He found their yapping amusing and sweet, bringing a smile on to his face.
"I love you too, my nightshade. Same goes for you, you're the beautiful starry night to my fields filled with violet petals. And again, I am so happy to have you here with me."

Azure wraps his arms around them, closing the gap even more. He leans his forehead against theirs:
"I love you so much... so damn much." He says before pulling them in to a kiss.

They kissed through the lights and loud noises. It was needy, touchy, messy... Their heart beats sync together as their minds go off, breaths mingled with each other. They let go as the fireworks start to die down, their cheeks flushed and their breathing ragged. Two Time slowly realizes the fireworks are done. They look out the window and then back to Azure:
"We missed the fireworks. We missed the fireworks because of you!..."
Azure laughs nervously. "Yeaaahh- are we sure it's my fault? Maybe they fucked up the time...?"
