Val was left alone in an alleyway in hell, the floor covered in dirt, his antenna gone, his life had been shattered in seconds,just to let a child go , Val spots a faint blue glow around a corner, “an angel?” Val thought to himself, maybe they came back for him, “hi are you alright?” It wasn’t an angel to Val’s dismay, “demon scum” Val thought to himself, “Are you new to hell?” The Tv head man questioned putting out a hand ,Val’s gaze met the cement ground stained with alcohol, and then to the man whose blue glow drew him in.
Val stared at the other man , “y..yeah I’m new” and grabbed the man’s hand “Vox . Vox Morningstar” the Tv said with a smile “Val, my name’s Val” they stood in silence for a couple minutes. “ If you need a place to stay , I have a hotel “ Vox said with enthusiasm blushing ever so slightly, “sure … not that you need to I’m sure you have plenty of clients “ Val pouted , “no actually you’d be welcome to stay “ Vox replied “ooh wow great “ Val muttered sarcastically.
Once they arrived at Vox’s hotel, Vox was extremely polite and friendly on there way in he opened the door for the fallen moth “stupid Tv thinks I can’t open a fucking door” Val thought to himself his brow furrowed. Vox lead the moth to the living room “you can stay here as I make dinner” the Tv smiled and turned away. Val sighed and laid down on the worn sofa , what has his life become? In less than 24 hours he lost his flight, his eye, and his rank , and is now rooming with a random sinner.
“ dinner’s ready” Vox said a with a smile, leading Val to the the dining room, minutes past, no words just occasional eye contact “ foods good “ Val said his eyes looking down at the pasta, “ thanks” …”I’m sorry by the way “ Vox continued “For what?” Val asked not that he cared about a dirty sinner , “for the hotel being a mess, and how we met I guess “ Val looked directly at Vox as he spoke “it’s fine, you’re much kinder than I expected a man in hell to be” Vox was taken back, Val looked at the Tv man “Are you blushing ?~” Val giggled “uh no ,no it’s just a,it’s nothing “ he said , Val smirked.
Hours go by, they have dessert, watch a movie, chat ,” Where will I be sleeping?” Val asked his eyes half open “ up the stairs, second door to your left “ the Tv head replied “Kk “ Val walked up the stairs, “first door to my right, yeah “ he opened the door “the fuck is with sarks?” He collapsed onto the soft blue bed .
8:00 in the morning; Val got up and opened the curtain,his brow furrowed,he pouted slightly.
He went down to the bottom floor and Vox caught his eye , the Tv looked…tired somehow, “you sleep okay?” Vox asked sipping his coffee “I guess, what about you?You look tired “ Val leaned in to Vox’s face, “I slept fine I mean best I could on a sofa “ Vox smiled yet enchanted by Val’s face “why was you on the couch?” Val pulled away slightly,”oh well you was in my room so I guess I kinda just passed out on here” Vox took another sip of coffee “dumbass ,why didn’t you tell me?” Val rolled his eyes and crossed his lower arms , “you just looked peaceful, like an angel” Vox smiled as he looked at the fallen angel.
“So this is meant to be a hotel?” Val said leaning back into the other side of the sofa “yeah, one where I redeem sinners, so they can go to heaven, and won’t be murdered by heaven’s genocide ,sadly no one believes it’ll work though so I’m on my own “ Vox shared excitedly.
