Steve is currently walking next to Jonathan. Jonathan suspects he wants to talk about his near death experience that happened a few moments ago.
Jonathan hopes both of them don’t die when they kill Vecna.
“Hey, man.” said Steve
“Hey” answered Jonathan
“Thought I was a goner back there.” admitted Steve “Owe you one.”
“Yeah. Look, I actually like you and I don’t want you dead.” said Jonathan “I’ve got a feeling we’re gonna need you up there. I’m gonna need you.”
They start making out.
Nancy is watching them from afar. Smiling. Relieved.
