Chapter Text
The beaming lights of the appeal center blare with ease, as players go to their designated door, each one with a username displayed on it, and a hole for them to insert their hands in. The air was filled with commotion from the other newly appealed users, and doors opening and closing. Blending in with each step on the grey stone tiles, were four players fresh out of banlands.
One a pink stylish male, knowing how to make a quick buck.
One a gloomy man, overshadowed and forgotten by the others.
One a youtuber, who just got a tour of the banlands.
And one green leader, who showed the way.. Mostly.
Their steps were almost synchronized, and some fair quips of conversation could be heard from them.
"Can't wait to see if those noobs got any smarter." Said Jamie with a smug tone in his voice. Though, Gary's gruff voice after his was a stark contrast, "Man, i hope they still have egg hunts.."
It wasn't long till their feet stop at a metallic door, with the username "roblox_dude993", which was the youtubers. 993 stood infront of the door, his stance still as he turned to the three others, a smile on his face. He sighed, before he proceeded to speak.
"This is it. Can't wait to get back to my life in paradise, i guess..." 993 blurted out, almost a little hesitant. As he said that, he put his hand in the hole of the door, with him being recognized and the door automatically lifting up, revealing a strange, purple spiral portal. Looked like it lead to the game he got banned from, Life In Paradise. Jamie walked in first without any words, with Gary following. As 993 was about to walk in, he heard Casper say something. "Ha! I also can't wait to get back to my Sword fighting; It's been too long!"
At those words, 993 stopped infront of the portal, not going in yet. The purple lighting from the portal made his unsure look more seen as he fully looked at Casper, who was standing at the doorway. Casper still had that weird smile on his face, now that 993 thought of it, it looked suspicious as hell..
"Um.. C-Casper?"
"Yeah?"
"You said you were really good with swords, but back on the ship.. It didn't even look like you knew what you were doing."
A long, silent tense pause followed after that, with a player next door looking discreetly at what was happening. Casper still stood there, almost frozen, yet still smiling. 993's face darkened further with unease. "um.. casper?" He muttered, stepping back as Casper walked to him, now face-to-face. Casper had an lying look in his eyes, a poker face that had been read. His words finally pierce the silence, almost making 993 flinch.
"Heh.. Guilty!"
And with that, 993 felt Casper push him into the portal, His body falling before he even knew it, With Casper going into the portal last. But the door didnt close yet. The player, Oswald, who had witnessed the whole thing was now by the doorway. He sighed, walking away, but rushing in and going into the portal like he just had the second thought. And finally, the metal door falls shut.
Life In Paradise
The night was gloomy, and the air reeked of smoke. Fire sprayed everywhere, and ruined buildings that used to be lively are now meaningless debris. The only civilization that could be free, were Jamie's scambots. Each dead player had their body parts scattered everywhere, under the buildings and on the streets, displaying their inevitable fate. The only players alive had gathered up in the unscathed treehouse. They thought it was safe.
Commotion rose among the six clueless players, each word laced with fear and confusion. They all don’t know who-what-where-when-why-how this happened, and it was dreadful. They all have watched their surroundings burn to pieces, their close ones shattered like nothing. The six players were Troy, Benjamin, Aiden, elliotshairisfalling.. Or just Elliot, with her bearded baby, And Oswald.
”Bro i don’t know whats going on bruh!” Troy quickly panicked, feeling lost. “Yeah i’m really scared—i don’t know what to do..” Benjamin had agreed, joining in the commotion. Aiden, the shirtless one, groaned shortly before saying “Those green things took all my damn clothes.” The confused exchange between the remaining six continued, before Roblox_dude993 went to stand up on the log stump, calling out for the players attention. “Uh, Hello?” He said, the survivors looking directly at him. He continues, an awkward tone in his voice. “Hello everyone.”
”Uh.. We are gathered here today, up- in this.. treehouse. Because i made a very stupid decision, of trusting people from Banland. And then i made an even STUPIDER decision, of getting them out of Banland. So now they're just.. Running wild—breaking everything in the game.” 993 explained, the players looking at him with an understanding, yet scared look. "Wait- so this is your fault?" Aiden suddenly asked, a confused look in his face. 993 breathed through his teeth shamefully. "..yeah- um. I- I-i pretty much messed up here." 993 had answered, with a hint of guilt in his mouth. "Wow! this is just like that one scene in the Minions!" Benjamin childishly mentioned, everyone looking at him as he continued. "Have you guys seen it? it's a really good movie!" Yet before Benjamin could go on more about the movie, Troy cut him off. "Wait, guys! It's simple, lets just report them." The others agreed, mumbles of agreement filling up the room. "Th-Thats a good idea!" 993 allowed. "Alright, everyone here, report them right now—go!"
....
Its been 6 minutes since all of them reported the hackers. The six players were awkwardly seated on the ground in a half-circle, while 993 still was standing on the wood log. "Did anything happen?" Aiden asked. "Uh- I'm not sure, let me go see.." 993 said as he went outside, to the balcony of the treehouse. He climbed up the railing, looking closely at the town like he was using a spyglass. He kept spying, till he saw the gym building just explode into debris- and was that Caden that screamed? whatever. As he watched in terror, he also saw one of the breachers look at him-
993 quickly rushed back inside in a panic, the group looking at him in curiously. "Uh- No. Infact, one of them just saw me- I-I think we gotta hide-" As he announced in a forced, calm tone , the balcony was hit with a rocket launcher, its parts falling down. The group, even 993, collectively stood up and gasped, turning to the now non-existent balcony as the Breacher flew inside.
"Heh, You all thought we wouldn't see you ey?" The Breacher maniacally laughed and equipped their rocket launcher. In a moment of shock and fear, Elliot spoke up. "Uh, do we, like, hide or run-" "RUN!" 993 cut Elliot off, gesturing the group to follow him, before going down the treehouse through the stairs route. The panicked survivors quickly went on his trail, the rocket missing them by an inch. The Breacher cackled again, before chasing down the group. As they climbed down step after step, rockets flew their way, causing some parts to break and some legs almost tripping on them. While running, one of the survivors, Oswald had a plan. "Guys! i'll trick the hacker into breaking the path infront of him!" Oswald yelled out. "B-But he can fly!" Troy complained, with Oswald retorting swiftly. "It'll stall us some time!"
The group agreed. Oswald gestured them to keep running, before he stopped himself. The Breacher stopped with him, the two face to face, the distance between them filled with tension. "Trying to play the hero, cop boy?" The Hacker laughed, before launching a rocket right at him. But Oswald, with quick reaction time, dodged the rocket and ran away. The Breacher was blinded by the explosion, so Oswald had more time, and as soon as the hacker's vision was clear, the cop was gone, and so was the stairs infront of him. He swore under his breath, before flying down the stairs and trying to find the group on land.
As for the Group, They were JUST behind the last flight of stairs, with Oswald quickly getting to them, panting. "You.. You did it dude!" 993 honored Oswald, holding up his fist. Oswald smirked proudly, before accepting the fist-bump. Elliot, who was beside her child, smiled as she talked. "Yeaaah, he saved me too earlier! hes a real hero!" Elliot praised, with some other words of praise following after from the others. Oswald chuckled awkwardly from the sudden praises. Usually he'd get laughed at, so the change of pace caught him off guard. "Okay- seriously thank you guys—you all are too much."
The chatter seemed to distract the group, and 993 decided to keep things on track. "Anyways besides that- i think i saw a portal somewhere here? We should just try to find it. Don't know where it takes us, but it could be either good or bad. We just have to really hope it isn't the latter." 993 said, each word laced with a mix of newfound confidence now that there was a way to get out of this place, and a bit of fear about where the portal would lead to. The others agreed easily, and a question, from, expectantly, Aiden, seeped through. "Are we gonna find a way to stop those guys? If we don't, then Roblox might be doomed." He asked worriedly. This got some reactions out of the group, and 993 visibly pondering, then finally coming up with an answer. "Uh- I don't know. But, i'm sure we can find a way along the path." The survivors eased, the mood setting into a more calmer one. "Yeah! maybe we can find the Minions!" Benjamin said whimsically. After a moment, 993 and the survivors are ready to go. "Alright, uhm.. lets get going then! though, we should walk behind the buildings, the hackers are probably still here.." 993 said, walking with the group and leading the way, their steps almost synchronized. The survivors, like 993 requested, walked behind the buildings. Some of them took one last glance at their old town, now torn to pieces. Although, 993 was the only one who saw the argument between Gary and Casper on top of the pink dual house. He tried to think more about it, but they've already reached the Portal, so he redirected his focus.
The portal looked like a black void with green sparkles coming out of it, and it had a thick, pixelated green lining around it. 993 stood in front of the portal, before turning back and looking at his new team. "So this is it. Any guesses on where its gonna lead us?" He asked. Troy had a guess, and decided to say it. "In my opinion, it looks bad. I mean, it literally has the color scheme of those guys!" Troy presumed, with Aiden agreeing. "He's right... ya sure we go in there pepsi guy?" Aiden eyed 993. 993 sighed. "I know it looks suspicious, but they're gonna find us one way or another, and if we stay longer here, we'll probably be in our graves." He hypothesized. This got the survivors to finally agree. "Now, lets go before they see us.." 993 said, before going in first. The other survivors followed. Oswald was gonna go in last, but as he was about to step into the realm, he saw someone spying on them. He quickly went into the portal.
Casper sat on the beach chair, sipping on his drink as he tried to distract himself from the exchange he had with Gary earlier, by just admiring the work he and his group had made to the once lively town. Gary did also get what he wanted right? I mean, Gary did ask when he'd get his chance. Casper believed the "chance" Gary was talking about, was freedom, the chance to get out.. But what he didn't know was that, yes Gary DID want to get out, but he wanted to be seen more.
Before Casper could think about it too much, A breacher, who seemingly lead the other breachers, flew to him, then all of them after, with Jamie also following them. The Leader went up to Casper, the movement almost resembling a frail child. "Boss.. There still were seven players. We don't know where they are. Not one of us." He said ashamedly. Casper's usual dropped, standing up from his beach chair. "Leeet me guess. ONE of them, has a visor." Casper presumed. There was a small hint of disappointment in his voice. But once the Leader nodded, Casper smirked. "Knew it. If you guys really can't find those dickheads, Don't worry! i'm sure Gary will get them. You guys just go on the next game, Jamie and i will follow.” Casper vocalized in his usual tone, a grin sneaking up into his face before continuing. “If you guys can, recruit some of em! I want an ARMY." He said, dismissing his minions. The Breachers understood, flying away and going into the green-black portal.
As Casper and Jamie were left alone on the rooftop, Jamie spoke. "You seriously want an army?" He side-eyed Casper, who had a shit-eating grin on his face, before replicating the grin himself. "I think i could make my own too.."
