It was the middle of nowhere when Percy’s car broke down. He was just trying to drop off a client as a taxi driver, but there was a lot of forest in between where ethe man got picked up and Gotham.
Percy silently cursed in Greek as he quickly apologized to the man before hopping out, and hoping to try and take a look at the engine and see what was wrong.
When Percy popped the hood, he noticed that it had started to smoke, that wasn’t a good sign. He quickly tried to locate where the smoke was coming from and realized that the engine had caught fire a bit.
Percy made eye contact with the man in the car and quickly motioned for him to get out, luckily, he did so quickly as well as grabbing his bag and getting far enough from the engine before it completely caught fire.
Now they were stuck in the middle of nowhere in the winter and it was cold. Percy quickly called 9-1-1 and told them what happened and what street they were on, and was told that the fire trucks will be there soon and get away from the car.
Percy and the other man quickly followed those instructions and got away from the car, but they were still left in the freezing cold.
Somehow, both men slowly started drifting towards each other, trying to conserve heat.
By the time the fire trucks got there, Percy and the man were huddled closely together, as both jackets were in the car, and they needed to try and conserve some heat.
Both men tried very hard to ignore how cute the other was.
