The Rightside Up

Summary:

Stranger Things was a book about four boys and one girl, an adventure of a lifetime, and a story that was never supposed to come true. In the 1980s, a boy, by the name, Will Byers went missing in the small town of Hawkins. In 2087, in a small town where moss crept up old stone walls and a half-forgotten castle watches from the hills, a girl named Amber vanishes without a trace and five teenagers are about to learn why.

(In which, Mike's story is about to become a whole lot worse.)

This shit took me so long to make the summary. It’s not even funny. Even longer to create an idea for the actual story, but I hope you enjoy. Do I post frequently when I have time? Probably, maybe, yes, whatever hyper fixation I’m stuck on and right now, it’s Stranger Things and Everybody Wants To Rule The World, so let’s hope it doesn’t end, yeah?

Before You Dive In, Some Real Talk

  • Mike writing a book at the end inspired me to think that he wrote it just in case smth like this ever happens again and wouldn’t it be funny if he called it Stranger Things? Like this whole time it was just from Mike’s perspective because he wrote the book?
  • Some spoilers if you haven't caught up yet obvi
  • I actually can't believe Stranger Things is over and I'm so sad bc they actually could've done smth with that Conformity Gate theory. Now I'm imagining how episode 9 would've looked like. 
  • My favorite dynamic and characters, Dustin and Steve, they're my bbys 💞 (+ Robin ofc) they're also the ppl I'd want to be friends irl
  • idc abt ships unless it's rlly weird, so if u want any OG ships feel free to shout them out and let's be respectful abt every ship, ok?
