Happy new yuri !!!!!!!!
I was extremely happy to start the year with DefoRei this year. I obtained 2 or 3 new images total (from the JP/CN side) but they made me so happy…… Thank you…… (immediately made one of them into my phone wallpaper lol)
I find Rei’s HUGE love for Defoko to be the cutest thing ever and I’m the type of person who can write like a long-ish essay about them every day, so I decided to put this energy into writing actual stories again! (‘Cuz otherwise I just stare off into space during work and have nothing else to do when we’re not busy. xD)
(I’m working on a long-form fic about WHY Rei loves Defoko but it takes a long time, so I decided I wanted to create other (short or long) stories while cooking for that.)
I wasn’t sure if I wanted to make something like this (the commitment lol), but I basically have like 4 or 5 ideas bouncing around in my head at all times, so I wanted to share them. I also love my foreign/Chinese audience immensely and will always happily share my writing with them, and AO3 lets me do it, so if I write you DefoRei, will you feed me with more art please? 😂😂😂😂🥺 (Just kidding.)
If I like my art enough to share it, I might put it into this fic (once I figure out how to do that), but basically, this is my dumping ground for all of my gay robot ideas. This place feels the closest to the old Internet in my opinion (the love of fanfiction), so I’m way more comfortable making a home here compared to everywhere else.
I was wondering if I should write a quick summary of the characters’ characterizations, but it might change with each chapter/story, and I already wrote a lot in this intro, so I’ll just let the reader figure it out. The tags should be fairly informative though and their personalities (especially Uta’s) may change a little or a lot depending on what I find cuter.
This chapter will be updated as I add more and more stories. Read one of them or all of them or none of them at all– up to you! I just need a creative outlet lol. I will not be silenced !!!
IF I feel like it, you may make a request to me to write something (as long as it’s not super weird okay), or if I have any ideas that I have previews of but haven’t written yet, you can request that I work on certain ones faster than others, but I know my audience isn’t big and that’s a-ok ‘cuz I prefer it that way. I write mainly for myself, but I do enjoy sharing the love, so if you’re nice to me, I’ll be nice to you back. Yeah! :D
The reason I like high school AUs is ‘cuz a lot of us have been to or will go to high school so we know what it’s like (probably), and I always like imagining it to be better than it currently is. When I was 12 years old, I was also reading fanfic about high school AUs, so if I write a lot of them, don’t worry about it. xD I’m probably gonna do a whole mix of different stories, and I’m just writing whatever I like. xD

Chapter 4: Surrender
Summary: [Hanahaki Disease AU] Strong deep love that has nowhere else to go turns into flowers growing inside of a person’s lungs. If the condition is left untreated, the flowers continue to grow until the victim ultimately suffocates.
Rei never imagined that she would die young.

Summary: [High School AU] Uta is not stupid; she’s just unmotivated. Her childhood friend Momo is always pestering her about taking things seriously and thinking about her future, but how is she supposed to know what she’s going to do for the future? She doesn’t even know what she wants to have for dinner that day!
After Uta scores particularly poorly on a recent exam, Momo bribes the class ace Rei to please help prevent her friend from succumbing to a lifetime of mediocrity. Rei is totally down; after all, who in their right mind would ever turn down free homemade fried chicken?

ik I said I have like 4 or 5 ideas but they’re really random, ranging from Rei being a cheetah and Defoko being a house cat (animal ears and tail) to them being domestic animals (dog and cat respectively) and them in more domestic situations (sharing a bed, sharing food, etc.), so I need time to organize them into actual stories. So for now, just chapter 2 is fleshed out lmao
