The sun rose over Heaven as a certain angel couple awakened. Well, Sera did, at least. She couldn’t get up as she was being gently held by her girlfriend, and the huge wings shielding the both of them from the morning.
The seraph wound up lying there for ten more minutes until her partner finally woke up. “Good morning, my dear seraph” The Speaker said before letting out a yawn and stretching her wings, allowing Sera to get up.
“Good morning” She replied, now out of bed. Sera head towards the door of the bedroom.
“You aren't staying in bed any longer Sera?” The larger angel asked, clearly not ready to get up quite yet.
”I cannot stay in bed all day” Sera answered, stretching her own wings.
”No, but can you stay five minutes longer? my angel.” She asked. It sounded more like a soft spoken demand than a question.
”Fine.” Who was Sera to say no to her partner. It was only five minutes, right?
The seraph got back into the bed, only to be immediately pulled closer by The Speaker.
Sera felt The Speaker plant a kiss onto her head as the larger angel’s wings wrapped around the pair once again.
Maybe Sera will stay just a bit longer.
