Ancient Egypt

3300 B.C.

[...]

“Katarina, why did you do this!?” Noah shouts in fury through his tears.

Holding the lifeless body of his beloved, the dark-haired man confronts the woman responsible for such an act.

“Because you were meant to love me!” the redhead replies. “We were supposed to marry and spend eternity together. You would become the pharaoh, and I your queen. But instead, you chose to be with the scum of society!” she snaps angrily. Noah only lets out a bitter laugh.

“You still don’t understand, do you? I never loved you, and I never will. And now, after taking the most important person in my life from me, the only thing you will ever receive from me is pure hatred, you lunatic! I swear I will hate you in every single one of my lives!”

“Then I swear I will destroy you both in every future reincarnation as well! It is a promise, Noah. I will make you feel the pain of losing him countless times” she says, a macabre smile forming at the end. The redhead casts one final glance at the couple before running out of the palace.

Soon, within that vast and luxurious hall at the heart of the temple, there are two lifeless souls. One was brutally murdered; the other died inside the moment he lost his great love.

“Josh, I swear with all my soul that in the next life, I will find you, and we will live our love.”
