Chapter 1: You Wanna Win? That's Too Bad!

Chapter Text

It was a clear sunny day. The birds were chirping and the sky was blue. There was no rain to be seen and the camp itself seemed to be well-kept. To Otto T. Becker, this was the perfect day for a perfect reality show. The man who was nearly six feet tall was no stranger to live television, he knew his cues and when he should act properly, most importantly, he knew how to make the crowd laugh. Otto wasn't a stranger to the human mind and how to entertain those who are in their lowest times.

Otto enjoyed his job and his loyal fanbase that was wrapped around his finger.

This particular day was different than all of the other days Otto had ever lived. Today was the day that he was able to host the newest season of Total Drama! He sat on the wooden dock, near the painful attempt when someone tried to glue part of the dock back together. He sighed, running a hand through his dirty blonde hair. His dark brown eyes were fixated onto the lake. Normally, the TV host wasn't nervous about anything that was relative to the show. Most of the time, he merely accepted that his show was either going to be really good or that it was going to really suck. Typically, he could tell which direction that the show was going to go. But with this show? he genuinely could not tell.

He laid back so that the back of his head could be facing the wood. Suddenly, he felt a presence beside him. Since he was so lost inside of the world of his thoughts, this frightened Otto. His eyes went wide and he sat up as if he had seen a ghost. He clenched his blazer tighter before realizing that it was just his co-host.

“Ah! Tamara, you scared me!” Otto exclaimed watching the woman with long, curly blonde hair sit beside him. Her emerald green eyes fixated onto him.

“I thought that I would be unnoticed, my heels are quite loud.” Tamara spoke, her Russian accent flowing through each and every word. She wore a short black dress which had matching heels. She had to be around five and a half feet tall. Her outfit matched his suit. She rolled her eyes at him once she noticed that he never replied. “The cameras are rolling, I'm honestly impressed that you haven’t noticed Nina patiently holding onto that camera like a lifeline.” She added.

As soon as she finished talking, he got up and brushed the dirt off of his suit before glancing at the camera. “Sorry, Nina. I didn't realize that the cameras were on! You know how hard that Chris's resignation really hit us hard and–” Otto added before Tamara lightly elbowed him, letting him become aware that she wasn't going to stand here for an eternity.

“Another season already? Didn't the team just air the last one? Where has the time gone? Whatever. Our lawyers said that we needed at least fifteen episodes or else they would air the reboot with– Don?! SO, we grabbed about eighteen walking disasters and tossed them into an island! They'll scream, they'll ruin their careers, and they may even sue us!” he beamed, continuing to speak. “These contestants will definitely test their limits, their friendships, and the public embarrassment that they will face. Egos will definitely rise and one lucky person will win one million dollars!”

“If they can survive you.” His co-host spoke. “Remember the last season of the Kitten Bachelorette?”

“Don't.” He mumbled, “Anyways! I'm your host, Otto T. Becker, and she's your co-host, Tamara Xiara! This is… Total Drama, Avenge the Million!”

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

“Our eighteen contestants are former competitors from past seasons. You know, Island, Revenge, Pahkitew?” Tamara spoke, her eyebrows furrowing. “Anyways, there's like two teams which consist of nine members each and they will compete in challenges. By default, one team wins and the other team will be forced to vote off a team member!” She beamed. “The winner will take all one million dollars and the losers will have to fall. They'll get nothing, nada, zilch!”

Otto sighed. “It's such a shame that McLean resigned so.. last minute.”

“I'm aware. He took the marshmallows with him as we have our contestants on a bus, each side has our teams. Now, the contestants don't know their teams since we assigned their seats on the bus.” Tamara stated.

The screen transitions to the bus. By the looks of it, it had to be a run-down school bus with the Total Drama logo holding onto the side of the bus for dear life. Soon enough, it zooms into the inside of the bus.

“To the left side of this bus, with the red bandannas is our first team. They consist of; Brick, Cody, Courtney, Dawn, Dave, Gwen, Max, Sammy, and Scott!” Otto beamed over a voice over.

The camera angles to Dave and Sammy sitting together on the first row, Noah and Cody sat behind them, Max and Courtney sat in the third row, Brick sat by himself in the fourth row, which left Dawn and Scott sitting in the fifth row.

The screen angles to the other side of the bus. “On the right side of the bus, wearing the blue bandannas which is our second team which consists of; Alejandro, Heather, Jasmine, Jo, Lightning, Noah, Scarlett, Topher, and Zoey!” Otto stated.

The camera shows Alejandro and Heather sitting in the first row, Topher sat in the second row, Jasmine and Scarlett sat in the third row, Jo and Lightning sat in the fourth row, and Gwen and Zoey sat in the back row.

CONFESSIONAL : SAMMY

The girl had to look unrecognizable from who she was at sixteen. She had dark brown hair with the same piercing blue eyes from five years ago. She adjusted her dark green shirt.

“You know, it's genuinely insane how this show has actually changed my life. When I was auditioning, I was convinced that Total Drama was a last resort from escaping my home life – mainly because it was. Living as the least favorite twin was exhausting, I was constantly drained and was giving too much of myself to others when they weren't giving me anything. Honestly, I'm even more impressed that I actually made friends who wouldn't use my issues against me.” Sammy spoke, “Get yourself a friend like Jasmine. She's understanding, loyal, and she's brutally honest.”

The confessional camera glitches out.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

“They let her return?!” Max whispered just enough for Scarlett to hear. “She nearly killed us because she felt like it!” he whispered, adjusting his blazer.

“For your information, I am currently attending therapy and I am medicated. I spent my time in the psych ward and I am taking accountability for my faults. Unlike the time you refused to apologize to Ella just because you won a challenge for your team. That's quite inconsiderate thinking that you had electrocuted her by tying an eel to a stick. That is around six hundred to eight hundred and sixty volts. The fatal amount? a thousand milliamperes can cause the heart to stop, that roughly translates to ten volts. So you nearly handed her a death sentence. So you basically committed an attempted murder and I don't see how you're not a ward. Think about that, Maximus Waterflower. Think of it.” Scarlett stated while she watched Max remain quiet. “I'd rather change myself now than to never do it anymore.”

Scarlett adjusted her short red hair so it wouldn't be in her face.

“That doesn't mean you blow up an island just because you bottled up all of your emotions and you didn't tell me how you felt! Right Jasmine?” Max stated, placing his hands on his hips. “Evil does not confront the past.”

“You're quite good at contradicting yourself, I will admit.” Scarlett spoke with a smile.

Jasmine had zoned out for a minute or two, she perked up after Max had said her name. “Huh?”

“Max stated that instead of nearly.. blowing up an… island?! Excuse me??” Courtney stated, her eyes widened after hearing that. “How does one– nevermind.” Courtney spoke.

“Yep.” Scarlett, Max, and Jasmine said in unison.

“Max stated that instead of blowing up the island, you should have talked to him.”

“Right, that.” Jasmine spoke before placing her hand on the back of her neck. “I will tell you that you should have admitted your feelings about him calling you his sidekick. However, I know you know that now because I can tell that you're trying to change–” Jasmine replied.

“Unless it's all a lie. ”Max interrupted

Jasmine scoffed. “Will you let me talk?!”

He slouched down into his seat. “Y-yes ma'am!” Max exclaimed which made both Courtney and Jasmine laugh. Scarlett smiled slightly.

“Anyways, we can't change the past. What happened back then? I'll brush that off. Alright, mate?” Jasmine spoke before smiling at Scarlett. “If you're struggling, please tell someone.”

Scarlett nodded. “I will.”

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

CONFESSIONAL - MAX
“Is she okay? I know evil shouldn't care about others, but I'm concerned.” He spoke, adjusting his blazer of his suit and tie. Other than looking slightly older, he looked the same. “Evil did get this blazer for free!

The camera glitches out.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

Sammy and Dave were sitting in the front row. She was minding her business listening to music with her headphones jack wrapped around her wrist over and over again just so they would work. She leaned against the window while she softly hummed to the lyrics of her playlist. Some of her music was popular music that she liked and some were from bands with a small fanbase. He was looking out of the window, nothing too much and he definitely didn't want to seem creepy since she was also leaning against the window as well!

“Your earbuds are holding on for dear life.” Dave stated, “Have you thought of getting new ones?”

“I've been thinking about it. These only last a week or two, so they're the only items I buy a lot of.” Sammy replied. “I use things until they don't work anymore. Heck, I just transferred phones for the first time since I was sixteen.” Sammy stated.

“I'm assuming that Amy is the polar opposite?” Dave asked, raising an eyebrow.

“I wouldn't know the answer now, we cut each other off. But when she was younger, she always broke her items just to get the newer version. I remember that she dropped her flip-phone down three stories just to get the first iPhone.” She said, “I'm not in contact with Amy and I never will.”

“I don't blame you for that.” Dave replied, “She was a total neanderthal and she wanted to always be the better twin, even if it risked your life. I never agreed with Amy's ideology. I personally think that you're the better twin.”

Sammy froze for a minute.

“I am?”

“You at least have common sense. I didn't like how you decided to just — accept it.” He said, “I wanted to say something about that, but I didn't want to make you upset.”

“I'm not upset,” She said, “I understand that I was a people pleaser back then. I still try my hardest not to – be the sixteen year old girl that the world saw.”

“I really thought you would.” Dave spoke, placing his hand behind her neck. “How's things with you and Topher? Shawn told me a few years ago that you two got together. ”

“We broke things off.” Sammy spoke, “It's been a rough breakup and it brought some– unwanted memories? If that's the best way to say it.”

“I'm sorry.” he spoke, drawing a strand of his hair to get his hair out of his face. He watched the girl with dark brown hair turn around to face him.

“It's fine.” Sammy spoke, a small smile on her face. “He wanted her more and it was apparent. I was too oblivious to notice that he was telling her about everything I was going through. He made fun of my struggles.” Sammy spoke, “I found out he was in contact and we broke things off– once I realized the douche hooked up with my sister!

“What?!” Dave spoke, his voice cracking as if he were a teenage boy in middle school… Except he's twenty-one.

“Buddy, what?” Noah spoke, crossing his arms. Even Cody looked shocked by what this ginger Chris Fan-boy had done.

“Guys! That's not what happened!” Topher exclaimed.

“Then what happened?!” Sammy asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

“Just.. Turn around and ignore her.” Dave stated, “You too Sammy.”

Topher turned back to his seat and went back to sleep.

“Sorry.” Sammy spoke, “How are you? I haven't seen you in a few years.” She spoke before she gave a small smile.

“Ah, you know. I'm now working at a small office job, doing analytics for an accounting firm. I kinda hate it, but it's better than seeing Sky again.”

“You guys broke up like five years ago.” She spoke, sighing. “I know you've somewhat moved on. But like– after Shawn's prognosis, you just– vanished. You were his best friend, Dave, and you left him in the dirt. Sure, he had Jasmine and me. But he kept asking for you and whenever we'd call, you never answered.”

“I'm not ready to explain why.” Dave stated.

“I can respect that. But, sooner is better than later.” Sammy replied.

“How is he..?”

“He passed.” She whispered. “Jasmine's made it public that he passed away, I don't know everything about it, but I don't wanna put stuff out there that she's not ready for.”

“Oh my God, tell her I'm sorry.”

“Tell her yourself, David. I'm going back to my music.”

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

CONFESSIONAL - DAWN

The camera glitched and there was Dawn, sitting in the confessional. Her long blonde hair was tied into two French braids. She wore a sage green tank top with a matching skirt that was covered in vintage patches.

“I got an aura while I was sitting on the bus with the douche who got me voted off. Whenever the aura is black, that's never a good sign. It means there's a deep emotional turmoil. People holding onto fear, anger, and stress. I have a bad feeling about this, especially if it is over the campsite/i> and it would probably be a good idea to investigate this camp, especially if—”

The camera cut off entirely.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

Dawn was watching the window, probably pointing out each and every animal and her experience with each of them. Zoey got bored and talked to Gwen while Scott was partially listening. All she did was notice a crow before tapping his shoulder.

“Find another animal?” Scott asked, raising an eyebrow. Trying his hardest to fall asleep.

“Yep!” Dawn beamed, before crossing her eyes. “This one's important.”

“I'll listen.” Scott stated,

“That's a crow, based on the mere eye, you'd think that it's a normal bird. Probably because it is. The connotation of this bird isn't as normal. They represent negativity and it can also mean that death is near. I highly doubt that they're there for negativity and harm!”

“Are you trying to manipulate me?” Scott exclaimed.

“I said nothing about manipulation! But if anything is remotely off with the camp, you can thank me or the gods.” Dawn replied, “I know we aren't on the greatest terms but I have a bad feeling about this camp.”

“Maybe you're just nervous? I mean, things like that happen when someone's nervous. I don't read auras, obviously.

“It's not that, that is all I shall say.” Dawn replied.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

“Are you thinking about strategy?” Heather asked, branding a strand of her hair. “I'm trying to scout people who can help us get the majority.” She whispered, furrowing her eyebrows.

“I'm still thinking, mi amor.” Alejandro replied, resting his head against his wife's shoulder. “All I am going to say is that I would be in the same alliance over and over again, I'll fight for you.” He added before hearing Noah and Dave making a fake gagging noise. ¿Vamos a tener algún problema o voy a tener que meterte una anguila por la garganta?

“.. Some of us can't speak Spanish, care to.. translate?” Dave asked.

I said, Are we going to have a problem or am I gonna have to shove an eel down your throat?” Alejandro replied before glancing over to see his wife with a faint smile.

Dave curled into a ball while Sammy looked at him with a confused expression.

“My timbers are shivering.” Noah replied, crossing his arms.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °
CONFESSIONAL - NOAH

The camera turned on and there was Noah, placing a hand through his dark brown hair. He adjusted his plaid, dark green collared short which was above his sweatshirt.

“I am in complete favor of the married people to sleep in separate cabins.”

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

In the aisle of the bus, Jo and Lightning are having a pushup competition so that time could pass a little bit quicker. So far, Jo had thirty and Lightning was right behind her. Meanwhile Brick was the one counting the pushups and he was locked in.

“Police officer versus football player! Who will win??” Brick exclaimed which caught Gwen and Zoey’s attention.

“.. Are they always like this?” Gwen asked.

“Always. I'm impressed that you didn’t know that, yet you were on the same team in All Stars.” Zoey replied.

“They weren't there for long, how am I supposed to know?” Gwen stated, raising an eyebrow.

“Thirty one!” Brick called out before the pushup competition came into a forceful stop. This was mainly because the bus had an abrupt stop. As a result, the two were immediately slammed into each other. They slammed into each other head first.

“Ow!” Jo and Lightning exclaimed.

“Boy! I could have beaten you in a heartbeat!” Lightning said before sitting up to place his hand over his head.

Jo sat up as well and got up into an aisle. “Yeah, you would have, Bright-ning.” She replied, “You could have if I didn't beat you in the last five times!” She snapped before realizing that Brick had his hand over his mouth, struggling not to laugh. “Sir-Wets-A-Lot stopped counting and I got thirty-six!”

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

It took a few minutes for the contestants to transition from the bus to the campsite. They kept their things inside of their respective cabins while Jo and Lightning both received ice packs after their head-on collision. Now the contestants are waiting for Chris to tell them their teams and to introduce the teams– or something along those lines.

However, the host that they knew didn't come. Instead, it was a completely different man. Nobody had recognized the man with fluffy brown hair and green eyes! Nobody has even recognized Otto T. Becker? That was crazy to him!

People whispered and murmured about what could have possibly made Chris McLean of all people to resign so suddenly?

Someone had to ask the question.

“So.. Where's Chris? The psychopathic host?” Gwen asked, running a hand through her dark teal hair.

“He resigned three days ago, he didn't really give me or my staff a reason as to why he resigned.” The new host stated.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °
CONFESSIONAL – SCOTT.

“I'm not normally someone who believes in the paranormal or.. whatever Dawn believes in, but I'm starting to think that she's right–”

The camera glitches out and cuts him off, mid-sentence.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °
CONFESSIONAL - GWEN.

“Chris doesn't just resign last minute, especially before a season of the show that brought him so much fame!” She spoke, “At least whoever wins will actually get their million dollars and hopefully that's me.”

The camera glitches out.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

“.. Okay?” Courtney replied, “Just for the record, anything you say or do can be used against you in the rule of—”

“I'm well aware!” The new host replied, “For all of you vets, my name is Otto T. Becker and I will obviously be your host!” He beamed, “We have a co-host, Tamara, because I guess Chef never wanted to see the face of this camp because he didn't get paid enough or something along those lines. Tamara is currently setting up your first challenge. For right now, all you need to worry about is your teams! When I call your name, please move to the left side of the dock”

“Alejandro, Heather, Jasmine, Jo, Lightning, Noah, Scarlett, Topher, and Zoey. You guys make the red team.”

They all moved to the left side of the dock.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °
CONFESSIONAL - SCARLETT.

“Did he make me the red team because I am a red-head. If so, well-played.”

Scarlett now had her red hair to her shoulders and the glasses are completely gone. She was wearing a dark brown sweater with a pair of light blue jeans.

“I have never been more thankful that I am not on the same team as Max. Jasmine's a loyal and great leader. She can be intimidating to other people because of her height, but I have learned to conquer that. Her height is the least of my worries. Topher? He simply annoys me, I would get him out instantly. Other people may call me cynical, but I call it strategy. Take your pick.

The camera glitches out.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

CONFESSIONAL - JASMINE.
Jasmine had ditched the hat completely, mainly since it has worn out over the years. She had her black hair tied into a braid which went to the middle of her back. She wore a light green crop top, some light brown khakis, with black boots.

“Otto and I are gonna have a problem.” She muttered. “Why did they decide to put me with Scarlett and Topher? He broke Sammy's trust and Scarlett nearly killed us in her original season. I can forgive a person but never forget about what they have done.” Jasmine stated, “Sammy's been talking some sense to Dave apparently. He apologized for being distant when Shawn's prognosis with F.F.I. was notable. Turns out the zombie thing was not an inside joke, he genuinely thought they were there. I'm gonna win this for Shawn.”

She smiled for a moment. “At least Sams can have a season without Topher. Now, I gotta make friends.”

The camera glitched out.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

“Those of you who are still sitting; Brick, Cody, Courtney, Dawn, Dave, Gwen, Max, Samey, and Scott. You guys are the blue team!” Otto beamed.

Jasmine and Sammy stared at each other.

“.. My name is Sammy. Chris said that because people called me Samey at home means that he would–”

“Am I Chris? No.” Otto stated, interrupting the woman. “I'll fix that, Sammy. However, I am going to have to take your iPod..”

“I'm fine with that.” Sammy stated, handing him her iPhone which was holding on for dear life.

She returns back with her team with the biggest smile on her face.

“Your aura is beaming with a sense of freedom away from people who treated you badly.” Dawn stated, “Finally, you mustn't be a doormat for others to walk over you.”

That smile immediately went to a confused expression.

“.. Okay?” Sammy replied.

“By the way, you guys have fifteen minutes before your next challenge!” Otto beamed

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

CONFESSIONAL - COURTNEY AND GWEN.

The screen is split in half. Courtney is on the left side and Gwen on is on the right side.

“I'm with her?!” They say in unison and then the camera glitches out.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

The contestants are shown at the dock yet again. Some people sat with their teammates while some sat with their friends. They talked and talked while they waited for Otto and whoever this Tamara lady that they were talking about.

“I'm not a happy camper,” Jasmine exclaimed, crossing her arms. Zoey, who was sitting beside her, perked up. “We're stuck with Topher, Scarlett, Heather, and Alejandro.” She whispered, “Jo and Lightning may work with them, potentially Scarlett. I wouldn't be surprised if they did. That'll leave Noah, you, and me in the minority.”

“What makes you think that they'll work with those four?” Zoey replied, raising an eyebrow. “Jo and Lightning stick together, sure. But Jo tried to get Heather out, but failed. If anything, she'll at least work with us and Lightning will follow, even if he doesn't like us.” Zoey added. “I'll talk to them, and you can talk to Noah, alright?”

“Sounds good, ally.” Jasmine spoke with a smile.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

CONFESSIONAL - CODY

Cody had eyebags over his eyes now, his hair was slightly longer and fluffier and he wore a Drama Brothers t-shirt with a pair of jeans.

“I'm honestly nervous to see what Otto could give us for a first challenge! But at least Sierra the Stalker isn't here! It's definitely not because she violated a restraining order… Definitely not.

The camera glitches out.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

CONFESSIONAL - ZOEY

Her hair was slightly longer with the same red pigtails and that iconic flower. She was wearing a white t-shirt with blue short overalls and some brown boots.

“Don't get me wrong, I love to be in an alliance but I know nothing about this chick– except that she got with a zombie guy and that she's slightly intimidating because she's freakishly tall. I can't trust her yet, but she seems loyal. The only things I know are from Dawn because they both work together at a pet shelter.”

The camera glitches out.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

“Welcome campers to your first challenge!” Otto beamed, waving at the camera. Tamara stood beside him, giving a small smile and a small wave to the contestants. She messed with one of her blonde curls while she waited for Otto to finish talking.

“I apologize for not being there when you all got there, I was setting up your challenge.” She stated before nodding. “Think of this challenge as a relay race or one of those estafetas. So, one of your team mates is going to hold a single candle and you're going to walk around this camp until you get to a checkpoint. If you mess up, you will be forced to restart at the checkpoint.”

“Ah! That sounds sha-easy!” Lightning beamed.

“Well then, I will make this difficult if you're convinced that walking with a candle is easy.” Tamara stated while Jo elbowed him in the stomach, all he did was wince.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °
CONFESSIONAL - JO

Jo looked exactly the same except that her hair was shorter. “We could have had an easy challenge for once!” She yelled, punching the confessional wall.

The camera glitches out.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

“Because you wanted it to be a difficult challenge, I shall not tell you about these twists.” Tamara stated.

“Now, I need one contestant at each checkpoint.” Otto stated before each team got into a huddle.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

BLUE TEAM.

“I say that we have the somewhat athletic ones go to the start because they're gonna be fast. But as long as we take this challenge one step at a time, we can win this!” Courtney exclaimed.

“Yes ma'am!” Brick beamed, saluting at the lawyer.

“So Brick and Scott are gonna be at the beginning, who will be at the end?” Dave asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

“Me!” Max beamed, “I can do some evil activities for the other team to lose!” Max stated, laughing like a maniac.

Crickets could be heard, many crickets.

“.. Last time you did that, you electrocuted someone with an eel.” Sammy replied.

“What if we put you in the middle?” Cody asked, “In case the purple gremlin does something evil, then it can stunt them and we can get the lead?”

“Wow, Cody is in his analytical phase.” Gwen stated, “Video games got to you?”

“Somewhat.” Cody replied with a small smile to his face.

“We'll put him at four. Scott's at one, Brick is at two.. Who wants three?”

“I can take it.” Sammy spoke, her voice barely a whisper.

“You're Sammy, correct?” Courtney asked while Sammy nodded. “Okay Sammy is third, uhhh.. You, the twink who looks like Noah, uh– you take the end!”

“..My name's Dave.” He spoke.

“The rest of us can just go wherever.”
.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

CONFESSIONAL - DAVE

To nobody’s surprise, he still looks the same except he's slightly older.

“Seriously?? A twink?? Do I, David Stereca look like a twink???” he spoke, his voice cracking like a middle school boy.

The camera glitched out.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

RED TEAM.

“Does anyone have a single idea?” Jasmine asked, raising an eyebrow.

“I say we put someone strong at the front and at the end. We could put the weaker folks in the middle like Zoey, Scarlett and Noah.” Jo replied, “Brick's a pretty good athlete and I'm not sure where they'll put him. But I say we put one of the strongest at the end of the relay.”

“I say that we take this challenge at a slow pace. If we slowly walk at less than one mile per hour, then the candle will not blow out. I'd also suggest that you should not talk to anyone else and to focus on this challenge. Tamara has twists, however, I'm not entirely sure what these twists could be. I suggest that you take your non-dominant hand to place it near the flame so it would not blow away. Especially if you are on the same checkpoint as Max. For those of you who had the joy of being in a separate season as the purple minion, He's the guy in a suit and tie, Topher and Jasmine would be able to confirm that he would do anything to win.” Scarlett stated, barely looking up at her team members.

“So if we avoid the purple minion, we can win?” Heather asked, placing her hands on her hips.

“Most likely.” Scarlett stated. “I take no offense to being considered weak, therefore I shall take the fourth spot.”

“I got eighth.” Alejandro stated.

“Sounds good to me. I'll take fifth so I'm away from that eel.” Noah stated, crossing his arms.

“I can finish it off.” Jo replied.

“I can start then.” Jasmine stated, “Anyone comfortable being second?”

“I can sha-do it!” Lightning beamed, pointing finger guns at Jasmine. All she did was roll her eyes at him.

“The rest of you guys can take wherever.” Jasmine stated.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

CONFESSIONAL - HEATHER.

Her long black hair was tied into a ponytail while she wore a cropped jersey and a pair of baggy jeans.

“That nerd girl is gonna carry our team for that challenge. As long as we walk slowly and that we don't get the candle blown out, Alejandro and I should be alright.” She stated, “It wouldn't be a bad idea to ask Alejandro if we could have them, Jo, and Lightning in our alliance as well.” She stated.

The camera glitches out.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

Otto is now standing on a chair while Jasmine and Scott are at the starting line.

“Alright, Campers!” Otto exclaimed, placing his hands on his hips. “Once I count down and when your candles are lit, you can start!”

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

CONFESSIONAL - BRICK.

Brick’s hair is the same but now he's wearing a tight, black t-shirt and a pair of jeans.

“Okay, this is gonna sound really terrible, but I have never been more intimidated by a woman except for that tall girl on the other team and I thought Officer Josephine Battaglia was intimidating!” Brick stated.

The camera glitches out yet again.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

Tamara goes to light the candles and Jasmine gives a small smile to Scott.

“G'luck.” Jasmine spoke with a small smile, her Australian accent flowing through each and every word.

“Sure.” Scott replied.

“This challenge will begin in 3… 2… 1… Now!” Otto beamed.

The two are walking slowly. Scott has his hand guarding the flame of the candle like a child, while Jasmine is taking it one step at a time. She looked over to notice Scott's hand guarding the flame and she did the same.

Soon enough, a large gust of wind goes right at their candles. Scott's flame goes out first.

“Darn it.” He murmured underneath his breath, before he turned around and returned to the start.

Right after that, Jasmine’s flame goes out.

“Crikey!” Jasmine spoke, before returning to the start.

Tamara goes to light both of their candles again before they keep walking through the checkpoint, slowly, yet carefully.

Scott makes it first and passes the candle to Brick who goes through the second course. Thirty seconds after Scott hands it to Brick, Jasmine hands her candle over to Lightning.

Jasmine and Scott return to the start and they cheer on the rest of their team.

While Brick and Lightning are walking peacefully, an intern dressed up as a ghost attempts to startle the campers.

Brick successfully was startled by the intern while Lightning kept walking effortlessly.

“You got it, Brick!” Scott beamed, “Just don't worry about the intern!”

“You go, Lightning!” Jasmine yelled.

Lightning smiled slightly before handing his candle off to Heather.

“The red team has handed their candle to their third person!” Otto beamed.

Brick gets his candle lit up again before he continues to walk. This time he didn't get startled by the intern, but he tripped over his feet. So he goes back to get his candle re-lit.

Heather is walking with the candle, guarding it with her hand before she looks down and sees a snake on the ground. She steps over it and continues her walk.

“That's mi Amor right there!” Alejandro exclaimed.

Heather gives a small smile.

Brick gets his candle re-lit and he continues his walk. That time he watches his surroundings and manages not to flinch at the intern. He handed the candle off to Sammy before smiling slightly. “Watch for snakes, ma'am.” he said.

“The blue team is at the third checkpoint!” Otto beamed.

Sammy nodded before Brick accidentally blew out her candle before she could even start. Sammy sighed before Tamara re-lit her candle and she continued her walk.

Sammy didn't listen to Brick and she dropped the candle once she stepped on the snake. Sammy goes back and gets her candle re-lit.

Heather makes it past the checkpoint before she hands the candle to Scarlett. Sammy gets to the checkpoint a minute later, and hands the candle to Max.

CONFESSIONAL - LIGHTNING.

He still has his white hair and that same cocky personality. This time, he's wearing his blue football jersey with a pair of grey sweatpants.

“Isn't it sha-ironic that the nerd girl got put against the purple minion?” He stated.

The camera glitched out.

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

“Red is only slightly ahead of Blue! Blue is catching up quick!!”

Scarlett is only a few steps ahead, she's definitely more focused on something else other than the challenge in front of her, she trips over a rock and is forced to go back to the start to have her candle re-lit. Max continues his walk and notices the rocks and steps over it.

Scarlett is able to restart and she trips over the same rock. She goes back while Max is almost halfway through the course.

“Kill me.” Scarlett mutters.

“You got it Scarlett!” Jasmine beams.

“Kill me again.” Scarlett whispers before tripping over the same rock for the third time, but by some miracle, the flame didn't go out. She got up and she continued her walk and that's when the flame randomly went out.

Max has finally given the candle to Courtney.

“I swear–” Scarlett stated while her team is somewhat rooting for her, she walks back and gets her candle re-lit for the third time. After she notices the rocks, she finally makes it to the checkpoint and gives the candle to Noah.

Noah didn't realize the wind blowing onto the candle and so his flame went out and he had to go to the start. Courtney had also faced the same thing, she whispered something that the cameras could not catch before she went back to the start.

Noah's candle re-lit and he was startled by an intern after walking past the gust of wind. Then he was forced to restart. Once Courtney’s candle was re-lit, she was finally ahead. She continues to walk to the next checkpoint, avoiding the wind and being startled by the intern.

She makes it to the checkpoint and hands the candle to Dawn.

Noah makes it shortly behind Courtney and gives his candle to Topher.

Dawn walks through her checkpoint cautiously yet carefully. She hadn't even noticed that the wannabe television host was getting closer and closer to the aura-reader. Before she could hand the candle over to Gwen, Topher pushes her into the mud.

Dawn gets up before she looks at him. “No wonder your aura is filled with wrath, you're upset that someone has replaced your ultimate dream.” Dawn replied before wiping the mud off of her face.

“Woah! He can't just push her in the mud like that!” Courtney exclaimed, before most of the blue team backed her up.

“No, it's fine I can just restart–” Dawn stated.

“Topher, you have officially been disqualified from the challenge because you have messed with the quality of the other team's candle. Mud can lead to safety issues in the candle, so you have jeopardized their safety. As a result, the blue team will get immunity and you will have one vote cast against you as a consequence. If anyone does this again, they will be automatically eliminated. Am I heard?

Everyone nodded.

CONFESSIONAL - TOPHER

He looks the same. Like actually he looks the same, it's kind of scary.

“You're kidding!” He snapped, “I didn't even do any–”

The camera cut off because the intern behind the camera couldn't care less.

CONFESSIONAL - DAWN
The woman is covered in mud except for her face.

“Immunity.. Yay? This mud will be a pain to get off.” She spoke

RED TEAM.

The red team walked to their cabins in silence until Noah spoke up.

“Dude, that was so unnecessary. What possessed you to go through with that?”

“I– uh..” Topher spoke.

“You could have killed someone.” Scarlett stated, “Mud clogs the candle wax and it can affect the way the candle burns, the quality of the candle, and it could lead to an uncontrollable flame that could have been deadly. Do you realize how reckless that was? Now you have cost us the win!” Scarlett exclaimed.

“I didn't know it would–”

“Both of you, cut it out!” Jasmine stated, “We're well aware of what happened. Let's be glad that she is safe, alright?”

.𓆟 ͎. 。˚ °

CONFESSIONAL - ALEJANDRO

His hair was slightly longer and it was tied into a small man-bun. He wore a shirt that was halfway buttoned up.

“I would rather be hit by a car than to watch these two argue, at least it wasn't my lovely wife getting pushed into the mud..”

The camera cut off.

Zoey immediately signaled Jo to follow her. Jo was skeptical but she chose to follow her.

“What?” Jo stated, placing her hands on her hips. “What are you pulling me here, it'll be suspicious!” She whispered.

“Do you want to join Jasmine and I in an alliance?” Zoey whispered, “With Heather and Alejandro in the same team, they're a threat.”

“What do I do if I'm in an alliance with them?” Jo whispered, “Brightning and I agreed that they're a threat. I think they're more likely to vote for Wannabe-Host because of what he did to Creepy Girl.”

“Alejandro and Heather could easily control this game though. You and Lightning were on the same team and Lightning’s as dumb as a rock! Topher and Scarlett are gonna lean towards them because they have a strategy.” Zoey stated, “Convince them to vote for Topher and say that I will as well. It'll give them a chance to avoid any use of idols.”

“There’s not an idol on this island. If Otto hasn't mentioned it, it's probably not there. ”

“Thank goodness. Just convince Lightning. Jasmine will convince Noah to get Heather.”

“You're actually kinda smart.”

Zoey smiled before she and Jo went off in their own directions.

The screen transitions to Lightning and Alejandro. Jo had just walked into frame.

“Where were you? Sha-Lightnin’ was confused?” Lightning stated, before throwing a football with Alejandro.

“I was with Zoey. She wanted to vote for Topher so it'll give us the majority.” Jo stated, drawing a hand through her hair. “I'm sure that he will get out now.”

“I'm going for Topher as well and so is Heather.” Alejandro stated, giving a small smile. “I know that Scarlett will follow.” He stated.

“We would have five votes, securing us the sha-majority!” Lightning spoke, watching Jo engrave an ‘H’ into the sand. He didn't say anything about it.

The camera then transitions to Jasmine, Noah, and Zoey.

“They're gonna target Topher, Jo is with us and Topher is most likely to go for Scarlett or myself. As long as he does not have an alliance, he should be okay.” Jasmine stated.

“So, we're breaking the couple off the show?” Noah asked, raising an eyebrow. “I'm all hands for voting Heather off. She's had four seasons, she doesn't need a fifth.”

“We're all in too, so is Jo.” Zoey replied.

BLUE TEAM

Dawn is quietly sitting on a log, her hair was wet after getting the mud all over her. A rabbit sitting in her lap. She was now wearing a baggy dark purple t-shirt with a mushroom on it with some sweatpants.

“It's okay, little guy. The bad aura around this camp shall be eradicated– eventually.” She spoke, petting the rabbit.

Soon enough, Brick sat beside her and he didn't say anything at first until she had recognized that he was there.

“Are you doing better?” He asked.

“Slightly.” Dawn spoke, placing her hand on the rabbit's forehead. “I'm just stunned that people have the balls to try stuff like that.” She stated, “I've had a bad feeling about this camp ever since I've been here and I can't shake it.” Dawn spoke.

“Is it the mud?” Brick spoke

“It's definitely not the mud.” She whispered, “Scott thinks it's just nerves but something is telling me that it's not the nerves or the mud.”

“Lead me the way.” He spoke, getting up off of the log.

“It's the shed.” Dawn stated, “Do you see the Do Not Enter sign? There's something there!”

She set the rabbit down before she and Brick went to the shed, they made sure that Otto and / or Tamara weren't there before she carefully opened the door, trying her hardest not to make a noise.

“Brick, get the light.” Dawn whispered.

He went and turned on the light.

Chris McLean was lying on the shed floor with his head covered in blood. No blood was to be seen around him and Dawn just slammed that door before she could do anything else. His skin was green-ish, rigor mortis had kicked in, and the smell was terrible.

“Was that what you were expecting??” Brick asked.

“No???” Dawn replied, “I wasn't expecting a body!”

Then the camera cut off.

The red team sat around the campfire.

“Campers, Welcome to your first elimination ceremony of this season.” Otto stated, “You guys were disqualified because a certain someone decided that it was a great idea to push someone in the opposing team into the mud and to compromise their candle. Because of that, Topher, you get one vote against you from yours truly.”

“You guys have already voted and as a result, I will reveal the votes.” Tamara stated.

“Topher.”

“Heather.”

“What?!” Heather exclaimed, “Who is behind this?? I swear I will shove my hand so far down your throat!—-”

“Like husband, like wife.” Jo replied, “You wanna win? Too bad!”

“Sha– You go dude!!” Lightning beamed.

“I'm a woman!” Jo exclaimed.

“My bad!” Lightning exclaimed in return.

Noah was struggling not to laugh.

“You all think it's funny that I'm without my wife?? Oh, I am going to make each and everyone pay for what you have done to my wife!” Alejandro snapped.

Heather was then sent to the dock of shame.

“How– what?” Heather asked, her eyebrows furrowed. Soon enough, she could see Alejandro full blown sprinting to his wife.

“They're gonna pay, I will win that million for you.” Alejandro spoke before wrapping his arms around her.

“You're the sweetest, but I'll miss you.” She spoke.

He let go of the hug to take off his necklace. “Here, take this until I meet you again.”

“Really?”

“Really.”

“Enough with the wholesomeness!” Otto exclaimed before Heather got onto the boat and sailed away to the loser's club.
