Jonathan had always believed silence was safe.
That if he didn’t speak too much, if he didn’t take up space, nothing bad would happen.
Vecna knew better.
He studied Jonathan’s fears like open wounds.
The guilt. The exhaustion. The feeling of never being enough.
—You’re already broken —the voice whispered in the dark.
And when Jonathan felt the first invisible pressure around his throat, he realized something terrifying:
Silence can scream too.
