"Is there really a need to make all of this ?"Shadow Milk Cookie said as he was putting down the plates"When I was a virtue ,we only met once in a decade."
"It's our first meeting that isn't a war or a council in a while."Pure Vanilla Cookie smiled at him gently "I heard Eternal Sugar Cookie will be coming. "
Shadow Milk just sighed loudly.He didn't like this whole 'Ancient Reunion' party .He can bet that they're scheming how to put him in the Silver tree again .And besides ,they just hated the Ancients .All of them ,but especially White Lily Cookie . It's not like the others where better .They just didn't annoy him that much.Hollyberry Cookie had problems with Berry juice ,but she was also Eternal Sugar Cookie's partner which meant he had to tolerate her .She sometimes was too loud ,but she laughed at his jokes , that's what matters.Golden Cheese has some god complex ,but who doesn't.After all she always brings a little drama. Dark Cacao Cookie was just boring .He never smiled ,laughed or even said something nice .He has some problems for sure.Shadow Milk Cookie may be the Beast of deceit, but they would never banish thier son from thier kingdom.He had to stop himself from laughing when Pure Vanilla Cookie told him the tragic story about it.
Yeah ,the Ancients were something .But he had to act like a nice boy around them ,or either he won't be getting his souljam back .He made his Silly Vanilly belive he really wants to change and be a better person .What a fool of him to belive that.
After few good hours of preparing everything ,they were finally done .Pure Vanilla Cookie decided that since it's summer ,they will celebrate in the Vanilla Garden .A sweet scent of orchids and blooming lilies ,making sure you remember thier presence as the king's favorite flowers.There were also few milkcrowns planted here and there.Shadow Milk Cookie told him it was not necessary,but he still didn't listen.He wanted to make sure his other half feels like at home.He just didn't know Shadow Milk Cookie actually hated them.
He couldn't help but stare at them .Suddenly a loud voice snaps him out of his thoughts.
"Pure Vanilla Cookie!My dear friend!"Shadow Milk looked at the source of the voice .Hollyberry Cookie was arleady hugging his other half to the point he could hear his old bones cracking.If that alcoholic was there that means-
"Shadow Milk Cookie~"He turned around to look at his friend,Eternal Sugar Cookie. She looked way more angelic than he remembered her.She had many jeweleries ,like everywhere.On her ankles,neck and hands.Her hair was tied in a bun with a lot of flowers attachted to it.He still couldn't help to steal a glance at her wings.Some of the feathers still were missing and he didn't know if it was from thier fight with Dark Enchatress or did Hollyberry Cookie did this to her.Either way ,she was shining.Love can truly make miracles.
"Hello,my dove~"They flew closer to her"Missed me much?
Oh, witches.Everything was so loud and bright.All the guests have arrived arleady.Mystic Flour Cookie also decided to pay them a visit,but she was too apathetic to even stay for longer than five minutes.Everyone was talking but Hollyberry Cookie still was the loudest.She convinced them all to share a toast,so they were all sitting at the bar.That alhocolic said some emotional things ,but he didn't care.He just wanted to drink.If he couldn't make some chaos ,he still has the Berry juice.His gaze shifted to his other half,but he was looking at the half-a-cookie.
"Will you dance with me White Lily Cookie?"When Pure Vanilla Cookie asked her to dance ,Shadow Milk put the most disgusted look he could do.It was not about him ,just that disgusting cookie. Unfortunetly that gnat accepted his request and they started slowly moving to the tune.After that ,he ended up alone at the bar.Eternal Sugar Cookie went for something to eat,Golden Cheese Cookie had to take some fresh air(They were outside arleady ,what an idiotic excuse),Dark Cacao Cookie was somewhere on the dance floor with Hollyberry Cookie who arleady drinked unholy amounts od Berry juice.Shadow Milk just poured himself another cup.If everyone was ignoring him ,then fine ,he may drink himself to death ,they still won't care .As he was sipping ,he heard a chair shuffling .
"You're jelous.You wish you were the one dancing with him ,right?"Eternal Sugar Cookie said with the most sweet voice she could .
Shadow Milk Cookie almost choked on his drink.What was she even thinking?Him ,wishing he was the one that stupid hypocrite danced with ,with his warm hands on him?He wasn't that desperate.He just reached to the whole bottle of the Berry juice ,ignoring Eternal Sugar Cookie's stupid words .
"Hiding yourself behind alhocol.Very unlike of you."Eternal Sugar Cookie chuckled , reaching for her glass to also pour some of the liquid.
Shadow Milk Cookie couldn't even count how many he drank .The whole time he was looking at his stupid other half .The way he smiled ,laughed and had fun with that half-a-cookie.He could feel he was slowly losing contact with reality.He felt dizzy,his head hurt and the lights were too bright,the sounds too loud.Eternal Sugar Cookie laughed at his state.
"Hey,Pure Vanilla Cookie!"She suddenly yelled at the Vanilla King.He quickly approached her with a confused look.
"Can you do something for me and take Shadow Milk Cookie to his room?He's drunk and I'm afraid something will happen to him.I would do that myself ,but someone has to take care of my darling~"She pointed at Hollyberry Cookie dragging Dark Cacao Cookie around .
"Of course .Everything to keep him safe." As Pure Vanilla Cookie said that he slowly took his other half in his arms.He was very light ,it almost made him worried ,but he wasn't better than him.He gently put his hand on Shadow Milk Cookie's waist.
"Don't touch me you disgusting thief."He tried yelling at him but Pure Vanilla Cookie just tightend his hold.He wasn't a child ,he was the beast of deceit,how could he even dare to look at him.Unfortunetly ,he had to admit ,his whole body was aching more than usual.He just let himself be dragged by that idiotic cookie.They slowly reached the castle.Shadow Milk Cookie tried walking (or floating)on his own ,but he fell even more to his other half's arms.After thier long walk,they reached Shadow Milk Cookie's room.Pure Vanilla Cookie tried opening them ,but they were locked with magic.Shadow Milk flicked his wrist and they opened.Pure Vanilla Cookie took him gently to his bed,but he didn't move,just stayed ,watching him.
"You can leave now.I don't need you."Shadow Milk looked at him with a annoyed look,and started unbraiding his hair.He decided to went with a new look after redemption,he was now the jester of the Vanilla kingdom.
"Did I every told you how pretty you are?"Pure Vanilla stepped closer to his bed.The beast went completly stiff,how could he say something like that to him?He was handsome of course,but that fool said it with that pathetic sweetnes to his voice.The Vanilla king seemed untouched by his reaction,instead he sat at the bed next to him.
"I'm the happiest cookie in all earthbread to have you as my friend."He softly touched his cheek,the other hand resting on his thigh. The next thing that happend was like a blur,he moved even closer,and suddenly,he put his lips on thiers.He tasted ,like fresh vanilla bean,sweet and soft.
"Blueberry,Eternal Sugar Cookie told me something about your original flavor."He ran his finger along his face"I always wondered if all the things she told me were true..."
"You...."Shadow Milk Cookie felt like all of the words just escaped his head.The smartest cookie to ever exist ,silent,beacuse of a kiss.His weak body was betraying him,the ache in his body too distracting,so he did the most stupid thing he could do to have touch with reality again and pulled Pure Vanilla Cookie into another kiss.This one was deeper,the Vanilla King immediately kissed him back,his hands resting on his waist.He couldn't remeber much of this,but he was sure he was laying in the bed few seconds later .
His head was exploding with pain ,body aching even more than usually.He slowly opened his eyes,the light of the sun too bright,like everything in this cursed kingdom.But the thing that catched his attention was the strong vanilla smell next to him.He turned his head slowly.No,that couldn't be.What was Pure Vanilla Cookie doing in his bed?Naked.He was still sleeping softly,his hair all over the pillow,his arm on Shadow Milk Cookie's waist.The Jester released himself from his grip and walked to the bathroom,holding onto his furniture.His dough just had to betray him in moments like this.He slowly reached his destination.He almost fell,catching himself onto the sink.He looked in the mirror.Thier whole neck and collarbone were covered in bite marks.Pure Vanilla Cookie wouldn't do it.Of course not .He's too sweet and pathetic.Shadow Milk Cookie sighed and pulled his robe onto his body.Where did his clothes go.That's a problem for later.Now he needs to kick out a certian cookie out of his bed.When he returned to his room,Pure Vanilla Cookie was arleady awake.
"Bluebird..Let's talk about it.I don't know what happend to me last night.Please-"He looked almost stupid,with that eyes full of guilt and care.So it was him.Our little holy lamb had all this in himself.
"Don't talk to me.Get out."Shadow Milk Cookie's voice cracked midway.Not beacuse of that stupid hypocrite,his body was just too wasted.
"Blue ,please ,i know you're mad ,but let me heal you atleast.I didn't mean to hurt you so bad."
"i said get out.I don't want to see you."A stupid part of him actually wanted him to heal his wounds.He felt like he was dying even tho he can't.
He watched Pure Vanilla Cookie get up from his bed,the blond locks falling to his back.He could change back to his usual short hair ,but Shadow Milk Cookie insisted on him keeping it long.He picked up his clothes,putting just his usual robe,the rest of his clothing in his arms.
"See you later then."He smiled to him,but his eyes gave away his concern.
As soon as he left,Shadow Milk Cookie collapsed to his bed.He still couldn't belive it he did it with the thief od his souljam.He wasn't the Divine virtue anymore,but doing something this unholy was unspeakable.As much as he wanted to stay in bed,he didn't want to seem like it bothered him.Also,he could bet Eternal Sugar Cookie had a very simillar night with her other half.She was never secret about thier intimate time,telling all of the Beasts openly about it.He sighed,and flew to his vanity.Technically his collar would cover his neck ,but he still decided to cover it more.Make up and shape shifting can make miracles. He dressed himself into his jester attire.He changed his outfit after moving to the Vanilla kingdom.It was now white and blue,the puffy sleeves shorter,alongside his pants.He was still fully covered,a simillar fabric hugged his legs and arms.He braided his hair fast ,and took all his force to move to the dinning room.It was pretty nice(not for him).It matched the theme of the whole castle.There was a one long table and few small ones.He fastly catched Eternal Sugar Cookie in the crowd.He sitted next to her,she was alone for some reason.
"Hollyberry Cookie is not with you?Hah,who I am kidding she was definitely in you few hours ago."He pointed at her ruffled wigs,and a single one hickey,she exposed on purpose. She decided to ignore him and keep drinking her tea.
"He's looking at you."Her gaze moved to the top of the table,where the main guests and the host sat.And this host was no one diffrent than Pure Vanilla Cookie,staring at Shadow Milk Cookie like a love sick fool.
