Kisses To My Exes

Summary:

Sam searched far and wide (a grocery store) for the best person to help with the latest undercover mission he was given: infiltrate and destroy Cerpent, a criminal organization whose sole goal is the destruction of governments, and to reunite the people as a whole under the god they follow.

Vanessa vowed to never get involved with the Avengers, crime fighting, or danger ever again because of one person: Joaquin Torres. He may seem like the kind of guy you want saving the day, but from her personal experiences, she’d say otherwise.

Joaquin has never seen a mission this big before, and he is hell bent on coming home successful. But when someone he thought was left in his past is roped into a mission with him, he starts to think this situation is the one thing he needed.

Hello, lovelies!

This work is very new, it came to me while I was playing The Sims so who knows how far I’ll go with it.

Especially with school right now, if I decide to continue this work, updates will probably few and far between, so don’t put too much faith in me!

Chapter 1: My Canon :)

This world is a little different from what actually happens in the MCU, so let me give you a rundown.

 

First, this basically happens in a warped time between the series ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ and this whole boss thing kinda replaces the Samuel Sterns shit in Captain America: Brave New World. 

Second, Vanessa’s (my OC) and Joaquin’s relationship took place over Endgame-ish into the beginning of TFATWS.


Third, we’re all going to pretend that SHIELD is still around, and they are basically what took over the Avengers instead of the Sokovia Accords. Nick Fury is still in charge, and Vanessa is an agent there but works under the ‘Captain America’ team.

 

Some kinda important dates:

Captain America: Brave New World still takes place in 2027, but I’m moving up TFATWS from 2024 to 2025 because I feel like three years is too much. 

Also, (you’ll find out the details in the first/second chapter) Sam finds Vanessa for the mission in 2026 (the end of that year like November/December around one of the holidays which I’ll decide later), but the mission doesn’t commence until like January-ish 2027.

 

Kinda important locations:

There are SHIELD bases in other countries because I said so. Also for the plot. But they are like bigger bases, not just small ones.
