It'd be mega.
That's what Liam told himself as he was preparing himself for this next interview. They decided to keep hanging around in Italy, doing a couple of small gigs, same as they did at the start of Oasis. It'd be only right to start anew, since they were meant to be a new band, right? Absolutely separated from Noel and his music, Liam didn't need him for shit, no sir.
He could keep hanging around those pesky reporters and his stupid friends. Liam was ahead of the curve, wasn't he? He managed to keep the rest of the band. Their band, that was before, now it was his band and Noel could do nothing about it! His fault for ditching them. Ditching him.
Whatever. Liam didn't need him.
He fixed his own hair as he looked in the mirror, checking everything was in place. He looked dead fit as always, didn't he. 'course he did.
Suddenly he heard a knock on the door and Liam said "come in!", not even looking who it was. He felt a pair of hands grabbing his shoulders and Andy appeared on the reflection.
— You nervous? —he said and Liam couldn't help but chuckle—.
— Nah, 'course not. Just checking I look good, yeah?
Andy also let out a soft laugh, as he squeezed his shoulders and moved his face closer to Liam's, looking at him with affectionate eyes.
— No need to worry so much about it. I'm sure the interviewer will be the first one to tell you you're gorgeous.
— And do you think I'm gorgeous? —he asked, his face serious despite his playful tone—.
— Yes, I think you're gorgeous too. The handsomest lad around.
— Damn right —he smiled, smug—.
Andy now placed his hands on Liam's waist, hugging him as he moved him closer. He placed his head on his left shoulder now and kissed his neck tenderly.
— Are you done then?
— Not yet, not yet. I only need something else.
— And that is?
— Give us a kiss.
Andy didn't say anything, simply kept his smile. He moved his head up as Liam also turned around, now facing him, and they kissed. It was sweet and gentle, almost chaste until Liam opened his own mouth, his way of asking for more, and of course Andy complied. He took Liam's tongue and the kiss turned passionate, Liam holding his shoulders as Andy kept him in place, not allowing him to move even closer.
Liam kept his gaze while Andy closed his eyes and he couldn't help but think about the slight tobacco taste, mixing with Liam's own bitter mouth. It wasn't strong enough, not as... But it didn't annoy him at all. Neither did the lack of aggression and dominance, so different to what he got before with Noel. It somehow made him feel good and taken care of. Andy always kissed him like he was someone precious— and he always said he was, no matter how sappy it was to say it aloud. Liam always laughed whenever he did but his eyes betrayed his affection and thankfulness every single time.
The kiss ended as Andy separated from his own mouth, but kept holding him. His glance still loving as his voice.
— Alright, that's enough for now. We gotta do the interview, remember? —Liam couldn't help but pout, yet nodded—.
— Yeah, you're right. Can't keep Gem waiting either.
Andy let go of him but extended his hand, another chance to keep body contact. Liam grabbed it and soon they got out, waving at Gem once they saw him. He made them a hand gesture to enter the room where the interview would be done and they all got inside, ready for any future challenges.
